Ruth was united in marriage to Irvin Althage on June 9, 1951 in New Haven, Missouri and to this union five children were born. Ruth was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, quilting, playing the organ, singing, walking and flower gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Mathilda (Meyer) Hoemann; two brothers, Francis and Roy Hoemann. She is survived by her husband, Irvin Althage of Cuba, Missouri; five children, Ronald and wife Belinda Althage of St. James, Missouri, Donald Althage of Phoenix, Arizona, Barbara and husband James Kaufhold of Cuba, Missouri, Sharon and husband Scott Heiner, Kay and husband William Olson, all of San Antonia, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Cora and husband Emil Menke of Union, Missouri and Fae Althage of Waco, Texas; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Avery nee Dulaney of Owensville, Missouri, formerly of Steelville, Missouri, was born on Thursday, July 30, 1942 in Steelville, Missouri to Ralph and Ruth Olive Wyland Dulaney and passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Gasconade Manor Nursing Home, Owensville, Missouri at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 9 days. Beverly married John William Avery on February 26, 1960 in Steelville, Missouri and to this union three children were born. She was a homemaker and loved her family. She enjoyed reading, working with crafts, gardening, bird watching and appreciated all of nature, especially the mountains. Nancy Carol Isgriggs Nancy Carol Isgriggs nee Bess of Cuba, Missouri was born on Sunday, December 27, 1942 in Advance, Missouri to Wilbur and Magdelene Dunning Bess and passed away at the Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 6 days. Nancy married Charles Eugene Isgriggs on July 14, 1962 in Advance, Missouri and to this union one son was born. She worked many years and retired as an accounts receivable bookkeeper from a medical supplies company in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hazelwood, Missouri and attended First Baptist Church, Cuba, Missouri. She also was a member of the Indian Hills Ladies Auxiliary Club and the Country Gals Extension Club. Her hobbies were reading, working crossword puzzles, walking, traveling, going to the movies, playing cards, dominoes and eating out with her friends, fishing and enjoying the lake activities. Devin was a senior at the Rolla High School. He loved deer hunting, fishing and everything outdoors. He also enjoyed his jobs at Kokomo Joes and the Zone. He loved hanging out with his friends. Ronald married Theresa Lorenz on July 15, 1991 in Union, Missouri. Ronald worked as a bricklayer and belonged to the Local Bricklayers #1. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed his horse. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Laura Metts and a brother, Herbert Metts. Vivian married Henry Thomas Slovensky on November 21, 1940 in Cherryville, Missouri and to this union four children were born. Vivian worked several years and retired from Brown Shoe Industry in Steelville, Missouri. She was a member of Center Point Baptist Church, Steelville, Missouri and served as the librarian for many years. Her hobbies were crocheting, camping, gardening, working in her flowerbed and spending time with her family. She was a retired restaurateur. Gwen loved cooking for her family and spending time gardening.  She had a sense of adventure and lived an active life to the end. She was preceded in death by her spouses, Harry Penninger, Sr. and Scotty Lee Summers. Norman retired as a Construction Supervisor for the Metropolitan Sewer District in St. Louis after many years of dedicated service. He was Past Master of Kirkwood Lodge #484 A.F. & A.M. and in his spare time he enjoyed woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Marie Theurer; wife, Thelma V. (Nye) Theurer; one brother-in-law, James DeLassus. Wills (nee Moore) was born December 29, 1924 in Gideon, Missouri to George and Isa Lena Moore   and passed away May 6, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Geraldine married Charles F. Wills on November 2, 1942 and to this union four children were born. Geraldine was of the Pentecostal faith.  She loved going to Church, singing the praises of the Lord and reading her Bible. She was a member of Rivers of Life Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Isa Moore; grandsons, Richard Lee Newcomb Jr. and Anthony Scott Farris; and son-in-law, Ed Farris.
