Samuel Morgan Green
Samuel Morgan Green of St. Louis was born February 23, 1953
at Triblli, Libya to the union of William M. Green and Jessie
(nee Huff) Green and left from this life on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at
St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 53 years 2 months and 16 days.
Sam called himself a Garbologist; one who searches in
odd places for antiques and treasures.
Sam is preceded in death by his parents William and
Jessie Green.
Those who are left to mourn his passing is his son,
Samuel Walter Green of Sullivan, Missouri; one daughter, Susan Marie
and husband Michael Ard of Sullivan, Missouri; two grandchildren,
Casper and Damon; two brothers, Bill Green of St. Louis, Missouri
and Kenneth Green of Owensville, Missouri; one sister, Anita and
husband Henry Ziegler of Owensville, Missouri; one niece and three
nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Saturday, May 13, 2006 from 11 a.m.
until 1 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri. Graveside
services were 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006 at IOF Cemetery in
Sullivan, Missouri.
The family was served by Britton Funeral Home, Cuba,
Missouri.
Shane Earl Jarvis
Shane Earl Jarvis of Cuba, Missouri, passed away
Thursday, May 4, 2006 from injuries sustained in a trucking
accident.
Shane was born on September 29, 1967 in St. Louis,
Missouri. He is the son of Melvin Earl Jarvis and Mary nee
Blackwell.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Duryee of Cuba,
Missouri and a daughter, Natalie Faye Jarvis of Union, Missouri;
sister, Charlene Ruwwe and husband Jeremy and their son Bayden of
St. James, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Jarvis.
Shane served four years in the U.S. Marines. He was
currently employed by U.S. Express Trucking Company.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the
Sassmann's Chapel in Bland, Missouri. Interment was in the Bland
Union Cemetery, Bland, Missouri.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Sassmann's
Funeral Services.
Kent Douglas Smith
Kent Douglas Smith was born October 26, 1960 in
Waynesville, Missouri to the union of Donald M. and Betty A. Smith
(nee Wall) and left from this life suddenly on Monday, May 8, 2006
at the age of 45 years, 7 months and 13 days.
He resided in Wildwood, Missouri and was employed with
Woodcliffe Nursery & Landscaping Company in Chesterfield, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and other
relatives.
Those who are left to mourn his passing are his parents,
Don and Betty Smith; daughter, Kristina (Alexander) Escamilla;
sister, Kimberly (Patrick) Rowe; granddaughter, Isabella Escamilla;
two nephews, Jonathan and Brian Rowe; aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends.
Visitation was Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 3-7 p.m. at
the Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 7 p.m.
with Pastor Gary Mace officiating.
Interment was graveside service Friday, May 12, 2006 at
11 a.m. at the Iberia Cemetery, Iberia, Missouri.
Barbara Ann Tierney
Barbara Ann Tierney, nee Boske, of Cuba, Missouri was
born on February 4, 1960 in Downers Grove, Illinois to Donald F.
Boske and Patricia Ann Kavanagh Boske. She passed away on Thursday,
May 11, 2006 at the age of 46 years, 3 months and 7 days.
She was married to Dave Tierney in St. Louis, Missouri
and to this union two boys were born.
She was a homemaker most of her adult life with hobbies
of collecting antiques, rocks, and driftwood, admiring anything that
had something to do with a heart design.
She also liked to sing along with karaoke, watch
football, write poetry, go to the casinos and most of all she liked
pets, especially her cat, Eyeshadow.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her
mother.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her father,
Donald F. Boske of Cuba, Missouri; two sons, Dustin Tierney and
Dylan Tierney of St. Louis, Missouri; brother, Donald Boske of
O'Fallon, Missouri; sisters, Mary Beth (Larry) Moss of Queen Creek,
Arizona, Joanie K. (Mark) Thomas of Florissant, Missouri, Jeannie
Marie (Joe) Bernsen of Chesterfield, Missouri and ex-husband, Dave
Tierney of St. Louis, Missouri; nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.
All arrangements were under the direction of the Hutson
Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri.
