Barks, nee Riley, of Rolla, Missouri, formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born on Wednesday, January 31, 1940 in Salem, Missouri to Samuel and Myrtle Hogan Riley and passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Rolla Manor Care Center at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 17 days. Ruby married Troy Barks on September 1, 1978 in St. Charles, Missouri. She was employed 28 years as a caterer for St. John’s Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Cuba. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Cuba, Missouri. Her hobbies were fishing, reading, cooking, arts and crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Myrtle Riley and husband, Troy. She is survived by her children, Kathy (John) Baumann of Cuba, Missouri and Rickey Lee Walter of Florissant, Missouri; sisters, Carol (Forrest) Neagles of St. James, Missouri and Donna (John) Montana of Fox Lake, Illinois; other relatives and friends. Keith David Campbell Keith David Campbell was born January 2, 1959 to Willard Sr. and Louise (Vitali) Campbell and passed away, Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the age of 52 years, 4 months and 6 days. Keith always saw the good in everyone and had a very kind heart. Keith was personable to an extent that no one was a stranger. He made friends everywhere he went. He loved to travel and did so a lot in his last years. As long as everyone around Keith was eating and having a good time then he was happy. If you visited Keith on a weekend you probably enjoyed his amazing BBQ ribs as well as a variety of other culinary delights. He considered himself a jack of trades and it showed. He had been an electrician, a carpenter, a butcher, a gardener, a baker, and possibly even a candlestick maker. The friends he made at the Mari de Villa where he worked for the last 13 years became his extended family. There was not a day gone by that he didn’t help someone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Sr. and Louise Campbell. Mary was united in marriage to Clarence Raymond Grover. Mary was employed by Growmark Incorporation in Bloomington, Illinois for many years, and retired in 1979.  Mary was a member of #50 DAV Auxiliary in McLean County, Illinois; a member of Tri-County Humane Society in St. James, Missouri and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in St. James, Missouri. She was preceded in death are her parents, Paul and Lottie Bell; her husband, Clarence Raymond Grover in 1990 and one sister, June Wyatt. She was raised in Sullivan, Missouri, attended Sullivan High School and worked for a time at Meramec Industries. Delores spent 14 years in Colorado and moved back to Sullivan a few years ago. She enjoyed spending time with her family, needlepoint and reading. On March 22, 1947 in Steelville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Neal Jost. Gladys attended college at Hannibal LaGrange in Hannibal, Missouri and graduated from Southwest Missouri State University at Springfield, Missouri. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cuba, the Community Teachers Association and Retired Teachers Association. She was a school teacher at Oak Hill and Cuba for many years. She was a dedicated teacher and her main concern was her students. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Tennyson of Cuba, Missouri; grandson, James Neal Tennyson and wife Christie of Cottleville, Missouri; great grandchildren, Chase and Cassie Tennyson; sister Norma Kompa of Houston, Texas; other relatives and friends. Rayjeana Ricotta Kell Rayjeana Ricotta Kell was born on Friday, August 23, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri to Hubert and Vivian Ferguson Coon and passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 24 days. Rayjeana married Vincent Samuel Ricotta in St. Louis, Missouri on November 18, 1948 and to this union seven children were born. She was a bookkeeper for her husband’s plumbing business, (Ricotta Plumbing) located on The Hill for several years. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1979. She later married Leo Kell on December 10, 1983 in St. John’s, Missouri. Rayjeana had been a faithful member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, Cuba, Missouri. She most recently was attending the Evangelical Holiness Church, Cuba, Missouri. Her hobbies were quilting, and gardening. Rayjeana enjoyed spending time with her family and loved them all very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Vivian Coon; husbands, Vincent Ricotta and Leo Kell; brother, Melvin (Brenda) Coon and sister-in-law, Frances (Rocco) Natoli. Lelah Laverne Santhuff Lelah Laverne Santhuff (nee Fowler) of Steelville, Missouri was born May 25, 1932 to John Roy and Ruby Laverne (Davis) Fowler in Patterson, Missouri and passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 78 years. Lelah married Bob Santhuff on October 14, 1950 and to this union one daughter and two sons were born. She was well known for her cooking and baking skills. Lelah was a born-again Christian and a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and enjoyed gardening, but the most important part of her life was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Fowler; father-in-law, Jesse L. Santhuff; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ernest Sullivan, Anna Ruth Fowler, Billy D. Santhuff, Lyman and Shirley Monroe and Ron Bouse and step sister-in-law, Barbara Kosa. On November 24, 1989 in Springfield, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Patricia Anne Setzer. He had attended the Center Ridge Pentecostal Church and was saved during that time. He and Pat had been attending the Canaan Community Church at Cook Station the last few years. Gary always enjoyed playing in bowling leagues and pool tournaments when his health permitted. He enjoyed rollerskating and driving his red Dodge pickup. But most of all he loved his family. Arthur Woodrow Strothcamp Arthur Woodrow Strothcamp of St. Louis, Missouri, was born January 20, 1919 at Bourbon, Missouri to Lawrence E. and Minnie L. (Grob) Strothcamp and passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the age of 92 years. On February 15, 1947 he was united in marriage to Vera Ann Luecke and one son was born to their union. Arthur and Vera made their home in St. Louis, Missouri, where he was employed as a laboratory technician for Wagner Electric for over 30 years. Arthur was a Master Mason and a dedicated member of the Sullivan Masonic Lodge # 69 A.F. & A.M. for over 50 years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and gardening and was especially proud of his milti-colored iris and rose flower collection. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Minnie Strothcamp; his wife of 62 years, Vera Strothcamp and six siblings. She married William Summers on May 23, 1964, in Bourbon, Missouri. Marie, as she was known, worked at Proctor Products and for Fidelity Telephone for many years in housekeeping.  She enjoyed yard sales, quilting and collecting bells and angels.  She enjoyed attending her church, Full Gospel Assembly of God in Sullivan, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Myrtle Stroup; her husband, William Summers; brother, William J. Stroup and two sisters, Geraldine Neff and Cheryl Hunter. John enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, and passed away Monday doing what he loved to do; checking on his cattle. John was a salesman. He worked for Biedermans Furniture Stores in Missouri and Illinois and sold real estate along with his wife Adelia for over 30 years with the company they formed: Welch Real Estate.  John was very active in the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star having served as past Worshipful Master of the St. James Masonic Lodge 230 A.F. & A.M. and a past Worthy Patron of the St. James Eastern Star.
