Ferguson of Cuba, Missouri was born Saturday, September 25, 1993 to James and Amy (nee Franke) Ferguson and passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at the age of 26 years. Kristen was a graduate of the Cuba High School. She had a few odd jobs along the way and the last place she worked was LSC Communications in Owensville, Missouri. Kristen loved all types of music and she spent hours singing all her favorite songs. She loved being outdoors, going to the river, reading and coloring with colored pencils. Kristen enjoyed aggravating the people she loved. Kristen was the peacemaker of the family and the one who always found the good in others. Her smile would light up a room and eyes always sparkled. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Doris Williams and Virginia Sansoucie; aunt, Kimberly Franke; and uncle, Michael Ferguson. Terry Joseph Hendrix Terry Joseph Hendrix of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Monday, April 18, 1965 in Rolla, Missouri to William Joseph and Sally Ann Walls Hendrix and passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at the age of 55 years and 1 month. Terry was raised in Steelville, Missouri and attended Steelville Schools. He worked as a farm hand at Chaumiere Farms when he was younger, then later on worked several odd jobs. He also worked as a night watchman at Boys Town. He enjoyed collecting knives, walking and loved horses. He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" and Sally Hendrix; and grandparents, Charles Jake Walls and Laverna Walls. He is survived by his brothers Tony Hendrix of Bourbon, Missouri, Lynn Hendrix of Salem, Missouri and Alex (Carolyn) Hendrix of Leasburg, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Myra Marie Modglin Myra Marie Modglin of Bourbon, Missouri was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 30, 1960 to Edward M. Crawford and Marian J. Brosh and passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the age of 59 years. She attended Northwest High School in House Springs, Missouri and was in the graduating class of 1979. Myra married Jerry Modglin on September 22, 1984 in Fenton, Missouri. She was employed by Wallis Oil and worked in their Human Resources Department. Myra had a love for horses, dogs and chickens. She enjoyed horseback riding and attending horse shows. She also loved to work in the garden and enjoyed canning. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Crawford; her mother and step father, Marian and Joseph Melenbrink; two brothers, Donald and Harold Crawford; one nephew, Kayleb Briggs; and sister-in-law, Tracy Crawford. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jerry Modglin; one sister, Marietta Secrest of Leasburg, Missouri; two brothers, Bruce Crawford of Lonedell, Missouri and Brian Crawford and wife Linda of High Ridge, Missouri; mother and father-in-law, Dollie and Asile Modglin of New Haven, Missouri; sister-in-law, Pam Bendler and husband Kevin of Cedar Hill, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Shawn Allen Pitts Shawn Allen Pitts of Cook Station, Missouri was born on Thursday, October 13, 1983 in Rolla, Missouri to Allen Lee and Linda Fay Buettner Pitts and passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at the age of 36 years, 7 months and 6 days. Shawn attended St. James School where he played football and Waynesville School where he went to state for wrestling. He later attended and graduated from Steelville High School. He attended Rolla Vo Tech for masonry. His main career was being a hunting guide at the Game Ranch in Cook Station. Shawn loved to hunt, fish and ride four wheelers. He loved life, was compassionate and very polite. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Doretta (Booker) Pitts and Larry Buettner Sr.; aunts, Rebecca Buettner and Karen Knight; and brother-in-law, Nick Furr. Margot Fannie Richards Margot Fannie Richards of Sullivan, Missouri was born in Germany on June 17, 1926 to Max and Hedwig Reichenberg and passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the age of 93 years. Margot and her parents came to the United States from Germany in February 1937. Margot remembered that stormy boat ride well and shared this story, along with other memories of the Holocaust. Margot's family resided in St. Louis, Missouri for two years before moving to the country. They moved to Bourbon, Missouri in 1941 when Margot's dad saw an ad for a farm in the newspaper. Her parents set up a milk operation that consisted of milking cows twice a day and then shipping the milk to St. Louis by truck daily, where it could then be distributed to different companies. Margot attended Bourbon High School. She graduated from Bourbon High School in 1944 and began her career as a payroll supervisor at International Shoe. She retired from there after 42 years of service and then started working as a door greeter at Walmart, where she worked for the next 11 years. Margot married John Eugene "Gene" Richards on December 23, 1944 in Granite City, Illinois. They enjoyed going to dances on Saturday nights, where Gene played guitar with the "Ozark Ramblers" and Margot always accompanied him as she loved to dance and listen to them perform. Margot loved her sweet dog, Foxy. Her faith was always an important part of her life, as she attended the Congregation Temple Israel of Creve Coeur and then later became members of First United Methodist Church in Bourbon, Missouri. She is survived by her very special friends, Harold and Dorothy Weiskopf and their girls, Tammy Watz and husband Dennis, Terry Brown a nd husband Jeff, Tanya Voss and husband Dave and Trina Biermann and husband Jim; their children and grandchildren. Private services were held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Alecia Fischer officiating. Interment followed in the Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union, Missouri. Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Sullivan, Missouri. Marcella "Jean" Tucker Marcella "Jean" Tucker of Sullivan, Missouri was born in Urbana, Missouri on September 22, 1944 to John Martin and Christina Maude (Willis) Tracy and passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the age of 75 years. Her family relocated to Wellington, Kansas where she grew up and attended school. She graduated high school in 1962. Jean married David Tucker, on December 29, 1963. In 1973 David and Jean moved their family back to Missouri where they lived in Bourbon. They eventually made their final home in Sullivan, Missouri. Jean worked at Paramount Inc. for over 30 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church where she was active in various ministries; including secretarial duties, teaching kids Sabbath School and writing for the church section in the newspaper. Jean loved gardening, quilting and embroidery and cooking family meals with love. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Uehlin; parents, John and Christina Tracy; and one sister, Sue Dorsey. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Tucker of Sullivan, Missouri; one son, Daniel Tucker and wife Laura of Bourbon, Missouri; son-in-law, Dwight Uehlin of St. Joseph, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jacob Tucker of Joplin, Missouri and Anne-Marie Tucker of Bourbon, Missouri; one brother, Junior Tracy and wife April of Wellington, Kansas; one sister, Joyce Wilson of Battle Creek, Michigan; other relatives and friends. James Douglas Black James Douglas Black of St. James, Missouri was born September 13, 1958 in Burlington, Vermont to James Fredrick Black and Marlene Ann Brooner and passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020 at the age of 61 years. He married Brenda Henson on October 25, 1980 in Rolla, Misouri. He worked for Norman Feeler Service Company as a heating and air technician for 33 years. However, Norman was more than an employer to James, he considered him a father. Jim never wanted to let a customer down. He even made a service call before he went to the hospital when he was diagnosed with his cancer. He was still receiving calls on his cell phone from customers when he was in the nursing home. In years past, he also worked for Sid's Upholstery in Rolla, Missouri and for a moving and storage company. He graduated from Rolla High School. He was preceded in death by father, James Fredrick Black; mother, Marlene Ann Brooner; step mother, Mary Kay Black; and two brothers, Dallas Black and Jay Taft. He is survived by his wife, Brenda of St. James, Missouri; two daughters, Rebecca McGill of St. James and Shelly Black and fiance Billy Coello of Owensville, Missouri; two sons, Jonathan Black and wife Bethany of Rolla, Missouri and James Black of Rolla, Missouri; step father, James Brooner of Mobile, Alabama; three brothers, Doug Flores of St. James, Missouri, Steven Black of Rolla, Missouri and Tony Black of Edgar Springs, Missouri; two sisters, Sheila Hays and husband Rob of Rolla, Missouri and Paula Watkins and husband Scott of Rolla, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, Haley, Logan, Bryce, Lucy, Makensy, Madison, Jason, Christian, Madalyn, Damien, Hudson and Mea; other relatives and friends.
