MO Local Obituaries for the Week of June 4, 2003 Edith Irene Hedrick Edith Irene Hedrick nee Kriegbaum was born Tuesday, April 14, 1936, at Richwoods, Mo., daughter of the late Frank Kriegbaum and Myrtle Kriegbaum (nee Fredenburg). She entered eternal rest Monday, May 19, 2003, at Salem, Mo., at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 5 days. In 1960, Edith was united in marriage to Orville Hedrick and they enjoyed over 42 years together. In addition to her parents, two sons, Clifford Hedrick and Orvin Hedrick, preceded Edith in death. Among those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband, Orville Hedrick of Boss, Mo.; four sons, Frank Hedrick and wife Sarafina of Viburnum, Mo., Wayne and Ronnie Hedrick, both of Hancock, Wisconsin, and Robert Hedrick of Bonne Terre, Mo.; four daughters, Eva Dixon of Payson, Arizona, Sue Durrant and husband Mark of Hancock, Wisconsin, Barbara Sturdevant and husband Matt, also of Hancock, and Linda Hayes and husband Herbert of Lincoln, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Wesley and Gib Kriegbaum, both of Potosi, Mo.; sister-in-law Bonnie Bohann of Piedmont, Mo., 15 grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Edith Irene Hedrick lay in state 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2003, at the Britton Brothers Funeral Home of Steelville, Mo. Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2003, in Britton Chapel with Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Committal prayers and interment were in Boss Cemetery, Boss, Mo. Serving as pallbearers were John Kane, Jr., Cecil Orr, Darrell Pryor, Randy Pryor, Noel Reeves and Heath Townley. Arrangements were under the direction of Britton Funeral Home, Steelville, Mo. Paul E. Sharp Paul E. Sharp of Perryville, Mo. passed away May 28, 2003 in Osage County, Mo. at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 10 days. He was born October 19, 1927 in Alton, Illinois to David Franklin and Viola Minnie (Conlin) Sharp. On February 9, 1968 he was united in marriage to Viola Yamnitz. One daughter and two sons were born to this union. He was a Lithographer for American Can Co., member of Graphic Communication International Union 235 in Kansas City, Mo., Army Veteran of Korean War as well as an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Geneva Crabtree, Berneice Martin and one brother, Walter Sharp. Surviving to mourn his passing are his loving wife, Viola Sharp of Perryville, Mo., one daughter, DeAnna (James) Kluender, Perryville, Mo., two sons, Paul E. Sharp II, Scott City, Mo., and David Sharp, Houston, Texas, two brothers, Eugene Long, Honolulu, Hawaii and LeRoy Sharp, Bridgeton, North Carolina; two sisters, Betty Schlife, Fullerton, California and Violet Mulder, Cuba, Mo., grandchildren, Jaret, Mollie and Jack Kluender, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Young & Sons Chapel, Perryville, on Saturday, May 31 at 4 p.m., Rev. Donald Blaylock officiating. An American Legion Wake Service was held Saturday at 3 p.m. Lester "Buster" B. Storz Lester "Buster" B. Storz of Bourbon, Missouri was born on April 18, 1930 at Greenbriar, Missouri to the union of Ernest Storz and Ople Stevens Storz and passed away suddenly at his home in Bourbon, Missouri on May 23, 2003 at the age of 73 years 1 month and 5 days. In 1951 Buster was united in marriage to Pauline Dowell in St. Louis, Missouri. Three sons, Lester, Gregory and Archie, and five daughters, Debbie, Paulet, Marie, Carla and Mae were born to this union. They were happily married until Pauline preceded Buster in death. Buster was also preceded in death by his parents, two sons Gregory and Archie Storz, one brother Jerry Storz and one sister Violet Bradow. He was inducted into the Army of the United States of America on January 9, 1952 and was honorably discharged on January 12, 1954 with the rank of Corporal. Those who survive to mourn his passing from this life are his son Lester Storz of Bourbon, Missouri; five daughters, Debbie Negretti of Leasburg, Missouri, Paulet Payne of St. Clair, Missouri, Marie Weininger and husband David of Bourbon, Missouri, Carla Price and husband James of Sullivan, Missouri, Mae Cody and husband Ryan of Sullivan, Missouri. Fifteen grandchildren, David Payne, Nathan Storz, Simon Payne, Jimmy Storz, Sarah Payne, Jacob Lewis, Cherry and Gabriel Negretti, Emily Schroeder, Faith and Jonah Price, Dylan and Madalyn Cody, Ryan Storz, Tommy Lewis; 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Buster was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, good friend to all who knew him and will be sadly missed. Lester "Buster" B. Storz was in state at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri where funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at 11 a.m. with Michael Clonts officiating. Interment was in the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri. All arrangements were under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. Margaret Mary Suttmueller Margaret Mary Suttmueller of Bourbon, Mo. was born on January 6, 1914 to the union of Bernard Joseph Suttmueller and Charlotte (Etling) Suttmueller and passed away on May 20, 2003 at Sullivan, Mo. at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 14 days. Marge was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Frank Suttmueller and one sister, Bernadine Whitworth. She retired from Anheuser Busch Manufacturing and made her home in Bourbon, Mo. Marge was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church of Bourbon, Mo. Those who survive to mourn her passing from this life are her nieces; nephews; great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Marge was a loving sister, aunt, good friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Margaret Mary Suttmueller was in state at the Eaton Funeral Home, Bourbon, Mo. Funeral Mass was held at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Bourbon, Mo. on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at 10 a.m. with Father James Finer officiating. Interment was at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo. All arrangements were under the direction of Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Mo. Dorothy Sue Whitman Dorothy Sue Whitman nee Cook was born Monday, January 1, 1945 at Marquand, Missouri, a daughter of the late Lester James Cook and Ruby Cook nee Denbow. She entered eternal rest Saturday, May 24, 2003, at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, Missouri, at the age of 58 years, 4 months and 23 days. On April 9, 1961, at Ferguson, Missouri, Dorothy was united in marriage to James Daniel Whitman. Two sons and four daughters were born to this union. They have enjoyed 42 years together. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Anna May Powell. Among those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband, James D. Whitman, Sr. of Steelville, Missouri; two sons and four daughters, James D. Whitman, Jr. of Steelville, Missouri, Teresa and husband James Switzer, Lisa and husband Brad Taylor all of Cuba, Missouri, Tim Whitman and wife Debbie of Indianapolis, Indiana, Melissa and husband Scott Blunt of Cuba, Missouri, Michelle Arvizu of Nogales, Arizona. Mother-in-law Dessie Bowenschulte of Cuba, Missouri, three brothers Franklin D. Cook and wife Delores of Tempe, Arizona, Junior Cook and wife Martha of Fredricktown, Missouri, Dale Eugene Cook and wife Lillie May of Bush, Illinios; four sisters Elizabeth and husband Denver Rauls, Shirley and husband Gene Rauls, Kay and husband Delano Goad all of Fredricktown, Missouri, Patricia and husband Clarence Peters of DeSoto, Missouri. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ellis Whitman and wife Ellie of Mareno Valley, California and Barbara Roach of Bourbon, Missouri; 23 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Monday, May 26, 2003 at the Praise Temple, Fredricktown, Missouri with Gene Rauls officiating. Musical selections were provided by Leanna Huffman and Jamie Shoemaker. Committal prayers and interment were in Praise Temple Cemetery, Fredricktown, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were Scott Blunt, Kenny Setzer, Brennon Shoemaker, James Switzer, Shane Switzer, Brad Taylor and Josh Whitman.
