On April 22, 1950 she married John Bylo in St. Charles, Missouri. Being the mother of 11 children, she had a special way about making each child special and unique. She was known to be a great cook, enjoyed flower gardening and the outdoors. Joyce was a member of Saint Anthony Parish of Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1987; one son, Jim Bylo; a son-in-law, Stanley Shiner; eight brothers and one sister. She is survived by 10 children, Pat Wolfsberger and husband Terry of Ballwin, Missouri, Larry Bylo of Sullivan, Missouri, Linda Bell and husband Don of Sullivan, Missouri, Margaret Farris and husband Dennis of Sullivan, Missouri, Jerry Bylo and wife Kay of Sullivan, Missouri, Karen Veron and husband Jim of House Springs, Missouri, Rita Krone and husband Mike of Sullivan, Missouri, Shirley Gray and husband Kevin of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Sharon Bouse of Chesterfield, Missouri and Brenda Shiner of Bourbon, Missouri; 29 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth Humphrey, Betty Hocking, Susie Mitchel and Judy White; other relatives and friends. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 from the Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Sullivan, Missouri with the Rev. Father James Finder and the Rev. Father Paul Telken officiating. Interment after cremation was in the Saint Anthony Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, Missouri. Howard G. Faulkner Howard G. Faulkner of St. James, Missouri was born on May 7, 1939 to Bert and Mary Crider Faulkner and passed away May 20, 2014 at the age of 75 years and 13 days. He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Harlan and husband Glenn of Jonesburg, Missouri; wife, Sharon (Spencer) Faulkner; three sisters, Wilma Bernice Chastain of Lebanon, Missouri, Hazel Wagoner of Vienna, Missouri; and Betty Lemler of Cofax, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, and William Harlan of Jonesburg, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Clara May Gilmore Clara May Gilmore, nee Moutray, of St. Ann, Missouri was born on Monday, March 16, 1925 in Steelville, Missouri to Harlan Sylvester "Vester" and Parthena "May" Luck Moutray and passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the age of 89 years, 2 months and 17 days. Clara married William "Bill" Gilmore, Jr. in St. Louis, Missouri on March 11, 1950 and to this union one son was born. Clara accepted the Lord early in life and was a member of Fee Fee Baptist Church in St. Ann, Missouri. She was a secretary for Byers Trucking for 20 years until her son was born. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, doing yard work and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlan and Parthena Moutray; husband, Bill Gilmore, Jr.; sisters, Gladine Moutray and Ruth (Avery) Birge; brothers, Raymond (Aileen) Moutray, Everett "Jake" (Elsie) Moutray, Fennel S. (Margaret) Moutray, Harold "Sandy" (Edna) Moutray, Floyd L. (Marvel) Moutray, Adrian F. (Mildred) Moutray and Doyle Moutray; and brother-in-law, Bill West. Lawrence "Bill" William Neumann Lawrence "Bill" William Neumann of Steelville, Missouri was born June 10, 1915 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lawrence Joseph and Matilda Horne Neumann and passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the age of 98 years, 11 months and 21 days. On August 16, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri, he married Charlotte Mary Rosenkranz and to this union three children were born. After high school, he worked at Guinard School of Music in St. Louis teaching banjo and playing in an orchestra. During this time, he rented a space from his future mother in-law while teaching dance and music. Bill and his wife owned a convenience/retail package liquor store from 1943 to 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri. Later he worked for the St. Louis Library for 10 years and after moving to Steelville in 1977, he worked 10+ years for San Val. He was of the Presbyterian faith. For many years he was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star of Steelville and Shriners of St. Louis. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his house and doing yard work. For over 10 years, Bill was a volunteer driver for the elderly at Gibbs Care. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Matilda Neumann. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Charlotte Neumann of Steelville, Missouri; two sons, Lawrence "Larry" William Neumann, Jr. and wife Kathleen of St. Louis, Missouri and Glenn Alan Neumann and wife Joanna of San Jose, California; one daughter, Cheryl Neumann of Steelville, Missouri; one brother, Dan Neumann of St. Charles, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jason Perotka, Matt Perotka and wife Sarah and Jo Ellen Banjai and husband Nick; five great grandchildren, Samantha, Wesley and Benjamin Perotka and Nicholas and Whitney Banjai; other relatives and friends. Siburt of Cuba, Missouri was born October 6, 1921 at Marion, Illinois to Emery Otis and Ida (nee Orr) Burnett and passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at the age of 92 years. Lillie was united in marriage to Fred Fox and to this union three daughters were born. Lillie later married Tom Siburt and became the step mother of 11 children. Lillie enjoyed fishing, cooking, crocheting, word search puzzles and reading the Bible. She spent hours outside in her yard with her grand- children and would always sing to them. Lillie liked coffee all day long and in the last few years was heard saying, "I Love You Jesus." She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Ida Burnett; husbands, Fred Fox and Tom Siburt; two daughters, Ida Fox and Betty Buckner; son-in-law, Bill Huggins; and 11 siblings She is survived by her daughter, Delores Huggins of Bourbon, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grand- children; many step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; step great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Frances Marcella Smith Frances Marcella Smith of Cuba, Missouri was born September 23, 1915 at St. Louis, Missouri to Francis and Cecelia (nee Gallagher) Kelly passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at the age of 98 years. Marcella was united in marriage to John W. Smith on February 16, 1938 and to this union five children were born. Marcella was a devout Catholic, member of Holy Cross Catholic Church of Cuba for 40 years and a member of the Altar Society. Marcella was the social light of the family; if there was a party going on she was the first to be ready to go and the last to leave. She enjoyed reading, quilting, being outdoors and playing scrabble. She would often sit outside on the porch swing so she could get fresh air and sunshine. Marcella decorated her coffee, treasured her trips to the ocean, the beach and shoe shopping. She was very energetic and always kept busy. She was preceded in death by parents, Francis and Cecelia Kelly; husband, John W. Smith; two sisters, Helen Bokermann and Jane Brooks; one son-in-law, Joe Sanborn. Pauline "Peg" Gastian Thompson Pauline "Peg" Gastian Thompson of Rolla, Missouri, formerly of St. James, Missouri, was born on March 3, 1915 in Kansas City, Missouri to William Victor and Margaret Pearl (Callison) Gastian and passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at the age of 99 years. On May 12, 1956 she married Doyle Thompson. Peg was a long time resident of St. James, Missouri and moved to Rolla, Missouri after the death of her husband Doyle in 1987. She taught for many years at the St. James Elementary School. Peg was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rolla, the Widow Support Group, Missouri Retired Teachers Association, the Federation of the Blind and the St. James Civic Club. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Sue Waddell and husband Frank of Casper, Wyoming, Dave Peters and wife Candy of Shell Knob, Missouri, Sue Johnson and husband Neal, Barb Eastman and husband Willard, Becky Loviza and husband Mark, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lori Whitener and husband Jerry of Basque Farms, New Mexico, Larry Gastian and wife Kay of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; 10 great nieces and nephews; eight great great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Wools of St. James, Missouri was born August 14, 1920 in Newburg, Missouri to Albert and Ethel Mae Frost Wools and passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 at the age of 93 years, 9 months and 23 days. On May 31, 1941 at the St. James Church of God, A.T. married Alma Nadine Keasling. A.T. Wools was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger. He was a friend to everyone. His gentle teasing always made you feel good to be around him. He loved to hunt. A lot of memories were made at the annual deer hunt and many trips to South Dakota Pheasant hunting. Many times checking the cattle on their farm he would shoot some squirrels or some birds. A.T. was a veteran of World War II and had a great skill for shooting in the Combat Infantry Badge where he received many medals and ribbons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ethel Wools; wife, Alma Nadine; one brother, Earl Henry Wools; and one sister, Jessie Jewell Jackson. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Mary Wools and Ritchie and Linda Wools, all of St. James, Missouri; one daughter, Alberta Kelley of St. Louis, Missouri; one brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Jo Wools of St. James, Missouri; two sisters, Laura Mae Copeland of St. James, Missouri and Irma Ragsdale of Columbia, Missouri; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
