Charles retired from Boeing, after many years of dedicated service. He would later work for the County of Mohave, Arizona. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3744 and Moose Lodge No. 1704 in Kingman, Arizona. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Asplin and Rachel (Stroup) Thatcher; wife, Dorothy A. (Crow) Asplin; one son, Charles Leroy Asplin, Sr.; one brother, Leo Asplin; and one sister, Edith Harp. Vincent served his country honorably in the National Guard and Reserves for eight years. He married Kathleen Susan Hall on December 5, 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked at Brown Shoe in Steelville and Mar-Bal, Inc. in Cuba, Missouri. Vincent enjoyed family BBQs and fishing with his wife Kathy. He was a member of the Pigeon Racing Club in Belleview, Illinois and many referred to him as "Pigeon Man." He raised pigeons and often gave them away to new people interested to keep the club going. He and his son-in-law Jeff enjoyed racing pigeons. He thought of him as the son he never had. Evelyn married Bobby Gene Livesay on April 2, 1970 at House Springs, Missouri and to this union she gained four children, Rick, Mike, Donna and Teresa. Bob and Evelyn loved traveling together, especially to NASCAR races, and they enjoyed over 30 years together before Bob's passing in 2000. Evelyn worked at Brown Shoe company for many years and then owned and managed Payne's Package Store alongside Bob for some time afterwards. She enjoyed quilting, NASCAR racing (especially the late Dale Earnhardt #3), cooking, catching up with friends at the beauty shop and spending her days with her dog, Tucker. Jackie was a Salem High School Class of 1972 graduate. He married Theresa White on March 26, 1977. Theresa passed away in 2010. Jackie proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He drove a truck over the road for over 35 years and enjoyed life with each new day and every city he happened to be in. There was no obstacle dangerous enough from keeping Jackie from delivering his load, on time, every time. He took great pride in every endeavor he undertook. On July 4, 2011 Jackie married Gayle Shirah. She took a truck driver course and joined Jackie on the road as a driving team. Jackie enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He was known for his role as the deer camp post supervisor. He loved eating out, tending his farm, planting trees, and flowers. Charles Donald Pardee was born September 30, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri to Donald and Concetta (Chetty) (Donati) Pardee and passed away on June 9, 2019 at the age of 64 years. He died on the day of his 35th anniversary as a Priest. Charles was ordained to the Holy Priesthood in the Diocese of Jefferson City, Missouri on June 9, 1984. He served in many parishes throughout the diocese, including parishes in Jefferson City, Rolla, Macon, Bevier, Boonville, Columbia, Loose Creek, Bonnots Mill, St. James and Rosati. And he served in prison ministry for several years in Jefferson City, Missouri. Father Pardee was an excellent homilist and cyclist. He was noted for traveling to unique destinations around the globe and had traveled to all 50 states, well over 100 countries and every continent. He lived a frugal lifestyle. He grew up on a farm in Rosati (grapes and cattle) and always loved that life. Despite all his travels he always indicated he loved most the beauty of Missouri's fields and vineyards. He was the primary caregiver for his father, Don, and mother, Chetty, during their final years. He wass preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Chetty Pardee. He attended high school in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Ken earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from William Woods University. He served honorably in the U.S. Army stationed in different areas of the world from 1975-1997 including serving in Desert Storm and retiring as First Sergeant. Ken served as director of the Jackson, Missouri Chamber of Commerce from 1998-2004; director of the Poplar Bluff, Missouri Chamber of Commerce from 2004-2007; the Moniteau County (MO) Economic Development Commission; and taught business courses at William Woods University from 2004-2014 and Columbia College from 2009-2018 which he loved doing. He also wrote articles in the Waynesville and Jackson newspapers sharing his experiences of the military and later published a book. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953. Lloyd married Betty Marie Ryerson on August 5, 1950. He was known as a jack of all trades, but his main vocation was as a lineman and electrician. He worked on TV's, could build his own home, and do mechanic work. He was employed by Crawford Electric, the City of Sullivan, Show Me Power, and as an electrician at many of the nuclear power plants. He enjoyed watching old western movies, listening to county music, deer hunting and target practice with his guns. He loved the mountains and enjoyed traveling out west. Ed joined the Marine Corps on October 29, 1956 and was discharged in October 1960. Ed became a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in 1981 and served as an officer for 33 years and was president for three years. Dennis served his country honorably in the United States Air Force retiring as Master Sergeant after completing a 24 year career. He then taught public school for 16 years in Clovis, New Mexico. Lance then attended Fort Scott Community College. Lance had a passion for the rodeo, especially bull riding and saddle broncs. He competed in the High School Rodeo and MoKan Rodeo, often times in the State Finals, and going to the national level twice.
