She is survived by her son, Michael (Debra) Casarotto of Lebanon, Missouri; grandson, Dante Casarroto of St. Robert, Missouri; sister, Ruby Kies of St. George, Utah; sister-in-law, Helen Oxendine of Steelville, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Family chose cremation. Burial will be at the Cherryville Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Fred R. Fife Fred R. Fife of Bourbon, Missouri was born in Waynesville, Missouri on August 11, 1947 to Fred Robert and Volla Mondy Fife and passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the age of 70 years. He attended elementary school in Leasburg, Missouri and high school in Bourbon,Missouri. Fred enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1967. In 1969 he married Cathy Johnson Fife. Fred worked for MODOT for 30 years and then began a small used car business. He enjoyed meeting and helping people. Fred was a member of the Sullivan Church of Christ and was always eager to share his faith with others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Fife Sr. and Volla Fife Knight; and brother, Jack Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Fife; one daughter, Elizabeth Scott and husband Gary of Rogersville, Missouri; two sons, Fred Fife IV and Jonathan Fife, both of Springfield, Missouri; two grandsons, Andrew and Luke Scott; in-laws, Gene and Geneva Johnson of Bourbon, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Brenda Sue Hamilton Brenda Sue Hamilton (nee Pack) of Cuba, Missouri was born on Thursday, December 29, 1949 in Henderson, North Carolina to James W. and Ruth Mae Buchanan Pack and passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 7 days. Brenda graduated from Bourbon High School then attended college and received a Bachelor Degree in nursing. She worked as a RN at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan and Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri. She also, had been a nurse at the Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan, Missouri. Brenda enjoyed photography, playing bingo, traveling and was an avid reader. She loved animals, especially dogs and horses. She raised and showed Norwegian Elkhounds with one of them receiving a Champion trophy. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruth Pack; and brother-in-law, Tex Smith. Kilcullen of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Sunday, July 27, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri to William C. and Shirley M. (Wilson) Daude and passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at the age of 65 years. Karen worked for several years in the office and as an order filler at G&W Heel Lift Company in Cuba, Missouri. She loved nature and animals, especially her dogs. She was a gracious hostess and enjoyed gardening, antiquing and being creative. She had a beautiful collection of antiques. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Shirley Daude; and husband, Thomas C. Kilcullen. She is survived by her step-son, Thomas J. "Tom" Kilcullen of St. Louis, Missouri; one grandson, Logan Kilcullen; one sister, Linda and husband Tim Faller of Fenton, Missouri; two nieces, Laura and husband McLeod Patton of St. Louis, Missouri and Lisa and husband Tim Stamper of St. Charles, Missouri; one great niece, Addison Stamper; friends, Dan Scheu of Pacific, Missouri, Betsy and Tony Reeves of Lemay, Missouri; other relatives and friends. James Ray Marcus Jr. James Ray Marcus Jr. of St. James, Missouri was born in Fillmore, Missouri on July 20, 1923 to James Ray Sr. and Eva Earl (Hopkins) Marcus and passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the age of 94 years. James was drafted into the United States Army and served from January 1943 - November 1945. It was WWII, and James was sent to North Africa before heading into Italy where he went to Salervo, made invasion of Anzio, and went the full length of Italy to the Swiss border. James earned 4 Battle Stars and 1 Invasion Arrow. James returned home on November 15, 1947 he married Margaret Mackey. James went to work for a High Voltage Electric Highline Company. He and Margaret, and the children traveled around and he worked building the highline. They bought a small farm in St. James, Missouri and raised their family and a few head of cattle. James went to work at the Missouri Veterans Home where he spent the next 30 years in the Maintenance Department, retiring as the Maintenance Supervisor. He enjoyed outdoors, always planting beautiful flower gardens, and a very bountiful vegetable garden. James was a member of the St. James Church of Christ, an Honorary Lifetime member of the St. James Sports Club, Boy Scout Troop #95 supporter. For several years he was the baseball coach for the American Legion Baseball. He loved sports and was the St. James Tigers #1 fan for every sport. James returned to the Veterans Home, this time as a resident. Also as "Resident Gardner" he just recently planted about 12 tomato plants outside to share with his fellow residents. James Aubrey Matlock James Aubrey Matlock of St. James, Missouri was born on April 21, 1935 to Thomas Henry and Virginia Pearl McCall Matlock in St. James, Missouri and passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 13 days. He married Ruby Jean Swyers on April 21, 1956 in St. James, Missouri. He was a steel worker and a cattle farmer. He really like working with wood and furniture. He was the Mr. Fix-it of St. James. He loved people and being around them. He worked for Granite City Steel for 30 years. In 1984 he retired back to St. James, Missouri. He was a board member on the Senior Citizens for 15 years and took care of the Matlock Cemetery for 30 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in St. James, Missouri. He served his country in Germany in the US Army for two years after he was married. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Virginia Matlock; brother, Tom Matlock; sisters, Laura Jones, Edith Jenkins, Mildred Noakes and Juanitta Jenkins; one infant brother; sister-in-law, Peggy Matlock; and brothers-in-law, Melvin Jones, Hubert Jenkins, Joe Noakes and Kark Jenkins. "Cowboy" Virgil Eugene Ross "Cowboy" Virgil Eugene Ross of St. James, Missouri was born on October 10, 1945 in Vichy, Missouri to Donald and Freeda (James) Ross and passed away on May 25, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Virgil was a "Cowboy" with his heart and soul. In his younger days he really enjoyed team roping. He not only participated in the sport, but trained many horsed for other teams. He also enjoyed car racing. It was always joked that he loved fast cars and fast horses. He and his oldest daughter Kim, were connected by the love of horses, they enjoyed trail rides and getting out in the back country going riding. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Freeda Ross; wife, Faye; and brother, Donald Ross. Ronald T. Wilson Ronald T. Wilson of Salem, Missouri was born Friday, February 5, 1937 at Duncan, Arizona to Glen and Zelda Wilson and passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Ron married Mary A. McCarter Raulston in 1967 at Vinita, Oklahoma. Ron was a heavy equipment operator for many years before he became a farmer in rural Dent County. Ron always looked forward to this time of year, hay season. He believed in working from sun up to sun set. In his spare time and for the last couple of years, Ron spent hours watching TV especially western movies, sports of all kinds and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Zelda Wilson; brothers, Donald Wilson and Norman Wilson; sister, Barbara Wilson; daughter-in-law, Carol Raulston; and brothers-in-law, Ish McCarter, Jack and wife Irene McCarter.
