Zelma loved God her whole life and prayed every day. She was formerly married to William Brimer II and to this union two children were born. She worked for 25 years as a payroll clerk for Pacific Car and Foundry, a subsidiary of Bethlehem Steel Corporation. She loved animals, nature and flowers. Her brothers and sisters meant the world to her and her hero was her mother. She and her identical twin, Thelma, were extremely bonded. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lena Farrar; brothers and sisters, William Troy, Claude F., Albert Jewel "Burt", Carol Henry, Mabel Josephine, Clarence Darrell "Jim", Harry Leo, Raymond Harold "Wes", Clark Ernest, Myrtle Elfreda, Phoebe Alice, Mary Ann and Thelma Fay; and grandson, Ben Brimer. She is survived by her children, William "Bill" (Elia) Brimer III of North Bend, Oregon and Judy Farrar of Coos Bay, Oregon; one granddaughter; other relatives and friends. On October 25, 1958 in Steelville, Missouri he married Deloris Brooks. Hurn worked in St. Louis, Missouri for a few years at the shipyard. He was employed at Doe Run in 1964 until 1999 when he retired. Throughout the years, he continued to farm and plant a garden. Purn was a fireman for the Viburnum Fire District and became the fire chief and later a board member. He was a member of the Davisville Assembly of God for several years. At one time during a strike at the mines, he spent time building fence. He enjoy bowling, fishing and hunting. George attended school at Portsmouth and New Port, Rhode Island. On February 25, 2006 he was united in marriage to Charlena Ousley in Casa Grande, Arizona. George attended Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church in Salem, Missouri. George enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, woodworking and leather working. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Georgiana Gomes; and three brothers, Benjamin Gomes Jr., Thomas and Charles Gomes. Doy Eston Jones Jr. Doy Eston Jones Jr. of St. James, Missouri was born on February 25, 1930 in Steelville, Missouri to Doy Sr. and Nellie (Walker) Jones and passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Doy graduated from High School and enlisted into the United States Army on May 23, 1950, after seven months he came home on leave and wed the love of his life, Irene Roso, on Christmas day. Together they navigated the roads of military life which by now included two Korean War tours and two Vietnam tours. Doy was awarded many ribbons and medals, but his greatest honor was serving on the Special Forces Unit and being on the Honor Flight to Washington D.C. Doy retired from the Army on May 30, 1970 after serving 20 years and 6 days. He and Irene came back home, bought a little farm outside of town where he could spend time mowing the grass (which he loved), hunting and fishing all the rivers, creeks and streams that the beautiful Ozarks had to offer. Doy was a longtime member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and took a very active role in the Rosati spaghetti dinner in the fall of every year. He was a hard working man and went to work everyday to provide for his family, he truly believed that if you worked hard, treated people right, and with a little luck form God, you could have a good life. He showed strength and love right up to his last days, and the memories that were shared will last a lifetime. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doy Sr and Nellie Jones; and granddaughter, Evelyn Foust. Ronald Eugene "Frank" White Ronald Eugene "Frank" White of Cuba, Missouri was born Tuesday, August 30, 1938 at Cuba, Missouri to James and Iva (nee Scott) White and passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Frank graduated from the Cuba High School in 1956. He married Sylvia Cameron on November 10, 1956 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Cuba, Missouri. Frank proudly served in the United States Army, during 1956, before he joined the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force on the 10th day of May 1961. Frank was a truck driver 30 years and he worked for Chemical Leaman Trucking in St. Louis, Missouri for the last 20 plus years of his career. He retired in 1996. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing. On the mornings that Frank was home, you could find him at the truck stop. He would spend hours there drinking coffee and visiting with everyone that was there. In his later years Frank liked to play bingo and he would talk on the phone all day long. He would call and call until someone answered their phone. To know Frank was to know that he loved a good debate or arguing as some would say.
