MO Local Obituaries for the Week of June 26, 2019 Lowell "Grandpa" Everett Baumbach Lowell "Grandpa" Everett Baumbach of Owensville, Missouri was born on May 10, 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri to Oswald and Ruby (Garrett) Baumbach and passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the age of 87 years. He married Mary Louise Boyd on April 23, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri. He first served his country in the US Navy Reserves and later was drafted into the US Army to which he proudly served during the Korean War from 1953-1955. He worked at various places as an automotive mechanic including Gasconade County R-II School District bus barn. He also work at several drag strips and drag races. He enjoyed coaching his son's baseball team. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching high school baseball games. He enjoyed camping and fishing, but most of all playing bottle caps and pitching horseshoes. He threw horseshoes in the fairs around the area for years until his health kept him from playing. He was most grateful that his whole family pitched horseshoes together. He was known by many others as "Grandpa" or "Pop". He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozzie and Ruby Baumbach; brother, Floyd Baumbach; son, Ricky Baumbach in infancy; and grandson, William "Scooter" Gauer. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Baumbach of the home; two daughters, Vickey Rose and husband Robert of New Florence, Missouri and Rebecca Joers and husband Ricky of Gerald, Missouri; one son, Douglas Baumbach and wife Brenda of Cuba, Missouri; sister, Vivian "Susie" Farris of Pevely, Missouri; seven sisters-in-law; 10 grandchildren, Khrystal (Gauer) Hagood, Tonya Bergesch, Joshua Joers, Amanda Joers, Courtney Baumbach, Ashley (Baumbach) Baldwin, Christopher Baumbach, Drew Baumbach, Jeneen (Rose) Osborne and Valerie Rose; 15 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, Missouri. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26 at the First Baptist Church in Owensville, Missouri with Rev. Kevin Sullivan and Brother Jack Hembree officiating. Burial with full military honors was at the Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. Arrangements under the direction of the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, Missouri. Naomi Louise Cisco Naomi Louise Cisco of St. James, Missouri was born March 15, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri to George Westly and Hertha Isabelle Cisco Sr. and passed away on June 14, 2019 at the age of 83 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hertha Cisco; and brother, Wesley Cisco who passed away November 15, 2017. She is survived by her dear friend, Melvin Mierkey and wife Karla of Atchison, Kansas; and all of the congregation of the Broadway Baptist Church in St. James, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Broadway Baptist Church in St. James, Missouri with Brother Scott John officiating. Kerry Feeler, Roy Richardson, Jeff Davis and Melissa Maddox sang at the funeral. Burial was at the Broadway Memorial Cemetery. Dorothy Lucille Daniels Dorothy Lucille (Davis) Daniels of Rolla, Missouri, was born in Rolla, Missouri on April 1, 1928 to Rev. Henry and Cordie (Towell) Davis and passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the age of 91 years. On June 29, 1955 she married Everett Daniels. Dorothy was a devout Christian. She attended several local area churches over the years and served as a pastor for over 20 years at the Vichy Community Church. She was most gifted in her music ministry and was an accomplished musician playing the piano, accordion, mandolin and guitar at church and community events for over 80 years as well as playing or singing at 2200 funerals in her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Cordie Davis; husband, Everett on January 17, 2004; two infant children; six brothers, Raymond, Wilbur, Leonard, Wilson, Edmond and Henry Davis Jr.; and two sisters, Eula Gabel and Roberta Roberts. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kathy Daniels of Rolla, Missouri; two brothers, Lester Davis and wife Bette of Rolla, Missouri and Larry Davis and wife Roberta of Rolla, Missouri; one sister, Rosemary Chambers and husband Donald of St. James, Missouri; two grandchildren, Alexis Taylor and husband Dallas and Kyle Daniels, both of Rolla, Missouri; one great grandchild, Bailey Taylor; other relatives and friends. Mildred "Mick" Delores Graddy Mildred "Mick" Delores Graddy of Steelville, Missouri, formerly of Cherryville, Missouri was born March 13, 1924 in Cherryville to Charles and Lula Jane Ennis Martin and passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the age of 95 years, 3 months and 6 days. She married Harold Graddy on July 19, 1952 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Mildred worked in St. Louis, Missouri at the Independent Packing Company for several years. She and her husband later moved to Cuba, Missouri in 1960 where they owned a Cuba restaurant and eventually started a fish farm and snack bar right outside Cuba. Mildred loved to bowl and she and Harold were members of a bowling league for several years. She also along with her family enjoyed playing country music on her guitar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lula Martin; husband, Harold Graddy; son-in-law, Edward Black; four brothers, Champ, Cebe, Nute and Gene Martin; six sisters, May Martin, Delight "Lady" Stringer, Stella Dotson, Beatrice "Beadia" Butts, Alice "Tookie" Kallmabah and Lillian "Punk" Barnicle; and step grandson-in-law, Jack Barnes. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lee Black of Richland, Missouri; four grandchildren, Rita (Brian) Rucker, Angela (Steve) Price, Douglas (Elizabeth) Black and David Black; three step-grand-daughters, Deborah (Michael) Kane, Pamela (Bob) Love and Teresa Barnes; six great grandchildren, Brandon Rucker, Amanda (Matthew) Sanders, Jennifer (Shane) Brown, Steven (Erin) Price, Zachary Black and Alayna Black; three great great grandchildren, Braelyn Sanders, Audrina Brown and Ashton Brown; other relatives and friends. Billy Joe Ratliff Billy Joe Ratliff of Bourbon, Missouri was born on February 17, 1937 in Malden, Missouri to Robert and Lorraine (Davis) Ratliff and passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the age of 82 years. He grew up and attended school through eighth grade. In 1955, Billy was employed by the International Shoe Co. He married Minnie Emily Tharp on January 20, 1956 at Pentecostal Tabernacle in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1956 Billy worked for St. Louis Tool & Die and then shortly after he gained employment with General Motors. He remained at General Motors until his retirement in 1986. Billy had great faith in God and enjoyed reading his Bible. He was a Full Gospel Pentecost Deacon in St. Louis, Missouri as well as Sunday school Superintendent. Billy would also emcee for gospel music singers. He also enjoyed fishing and playing guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lorraine Ratliff; and one brother, Johnny Walker. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Minnie "Emily" Ratliff of Bourbon, Missouri; two children, Kathy Wilson of Bourbon, Missouri and Mark Ratliff and wife Claudia of Des Arc, Missouri; four grandchildren, Maria Fischer and husband Charles of St. Louis, Missouri, Timothy Ratliff of St. Louis, Missouri, Johnathan Phelps and wife Nicole of Wausau, Wisconsin and Brandon Wilson of Bourbon, Missouri; five great grandchildren, Savanna Fischer, Lexius, Sarah, Arielle and Brennan Wilson; two sisters, Betty Hill of St. Louis, Missouri and Doris Smith of Apple Valley, California; other relatives and friends.
