Bridgeman of Sullivan, Missouri passed away on June 23, 2004 at the age of 24. He was a 1999 graduate from Cuba High School and the president of the school art club for two years. Keith was known as a very gifted artist and was asked to do several murals at the high school. In addition to his gift for drawing, Keith was also a good musician, playing guitar, banjo and most recently learning to play the mandolin. He was an accomplished pool player and enjoyed playing pool with his Christian brothers. He was also known as a very well mannered and respectful young man. He is survived by his mother, Diana Messner and husband Jim of Sullivan, Missouri, father, Harold Lee Bridgeman, of Cuba, Missouri, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services for Keith L. Bridgeman were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with interment at the I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan. Pastor Herman Rogers officiated. All arrangements are under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri. Daphne Marsh Cole Daphne Marsh Cole, nee Beckham, was born Saturday, April 4, 1908, at Dillard, Missouri, a beloved daughter to the late John Anderson Beckham and Maude Amelia (Marsh) Beckham. Daphne entered eternal rest at Rt. 2 Potosi, Missouri on Friday, June 18, 2004 at the age of 96 years, 2 months, and 14 days. In January 1933, Daphne was united in marriage to Howard Cole. They enjoyed over forty-nine wonderful years together until Howard's passing in 1982. From this union, they were blessed with one son. They made their home near the Indian Creek in Courtois, Missouri. In addition to her parents and dear husband, Daphne was preceded in death by her brother George Clifton Beckham and wife Islah, her sisters Lois Fern Beckham, and Bernice Olive Kehner and husband Adolf. Daphne would often describe her childhood as wonderful. She would talk about her school years, the adventures of attending class in a one-room school, teaching school while she herself was still attending high school, attending college, and ultimately teaching in various schools for 35 years. She would describe herself as not that brilliant and then go on to give others credit for the successes she enjoyed in her life. Daphne would speak of how wonderful her teachers were and how a teacher could have such an affect on a child's life. Daphne was a very modest person and didn't seem to realize just how much that she would eventually touch the hearts, minds, and lives of so many young people during her many years of dedication to education and teaching. Daphne would say, "I was just doing my job," but what she was really doing was instilling character, values, honesty, determination, and self-worth in so many of her students. She helped make the world a better and brighter place. She had a brilliance that words alone could never describe. She will always be fondly remembered and so deeply missed by all her knew her. Among those who remain to mourn her passing are her loving son George B. "Corky" Cole of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren Mike Cole of Chicago, Illinois, Elizabeth Council of Clayton, Missouri, and Philippa Garrett of Jonesburg, Missouri. Four great grandchildren, special friends and caretakers Noel and Glenda Brakefield of Courtois, Missouri, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends. Daphne Marsh Cole lay in state 3-8 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2004, at the Britton Brothers Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2004, in the Britton Chapel with Rev. Jeannette Bragg officiating. Committal prayers and interment were in the Antioch Cemetery, rural Potosi, Missouri. Honoring Daphne by serving as pallbearers were Randy Brakefield, Man Brakefield, Anthony Brakefield, Wally Council, Chris Garrett, and Larry Hopkins. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Britton Brothers Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri. Ralph D. Davis Ralph D. Davis of Sullivan passed away Thursday, June 17, 2004 at the age of 61 years. Ralph was born December 13, 1942 to John L. and Lillian M. (Edwards) Davis at Sullivan, Missouri. He attended and graduated from Sullivan High School class of 1960. He honorably served his country with the Army National Guard from February 3, 1964 to February 2, 1970. Ralph was self-employed as a Real Estate Appraiser for many years and was a member of the Missouri Board of Realtors. Ralph was also a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie #3781. Mr. Davis enjoyed horses, hunting and attending auctions to look for antiques. He was baptized in Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Sullivan. Ralph was a kind and loving dad, son, brother and friend who would do anything for anyone and will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by family and friends. He is survived by two daughters, Shelly Davis of Eagle, Colorado, and Allison Davis of Ann Arbor, Michigan; his parents, John and Lillian Davis of Sullivan; special friend, Wanda Wessler of Sullivan; one brother, Roger Davis of Sullivan; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2004 from the chapel of the Eaton Funeral Home with Rev. Father Ted Brunnert officiating. Interment was in Saint Anthony Cemetery. Fraternal Order of Eagle services were conducted at 7 p.m. Monday evening. All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home. Jesse Ralph Diamantini Jesse Ralph Diamantini of Bourbon, Missouri was born on December 25, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Jesse Diamantini and Amelia Massanelli Diamantini and passed away at his home on June 14, 2004 at the age of 76 years 5 months and 17 days. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Joseph Diamantini and wife Vivian, and two sisters Mary Jane Jennings and husband Dan, and Virginia Guzman Flier. On January 25, 1946 he was inducted into the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on November 26, 1947. He retired from Laclede Gas Company in 1987 after 44 years of service. Jesse was a proud member of the OCAW Local 5-6. Those who survive to mourn his passing from this life are his loving wife Donna (Ely) Diamantini; one daughter Toni Robinson and husband Mike; grandson Nick Center; one brother Warren Diamantini and wife Kathy; brother-in-law Jack Ely and wife Terry; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. Jesse Ralph Diamantini was in state at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri where funeral services were held on Saturday, June 19 at 4 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Interment was in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. All arrangements were under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. Juanita Dorf Juanita Dorf, age 75, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Sunday morning June 20, 2004 at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri. She was born on January 14, 1929 in Cuba, Missouri a daughter of the late Orlando and Rachel Masher Palmer. Juanita was married on August 17, 1946 in Cuba, Missouri to Melvin P. Dorf who preceded her in death on August 19, 1978. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Cuba where she was a faithful choir member. She graduated from the University of Missouri in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and later received her Master of Science in Psychology; she taught school at Gasconade County, R-2 (Owensville), and Viburnum and was a counselor at Raymore-Peculiar. She loved working with children. Juanita is survived by one son: Michael P. Dorf and wife Charlotte, of Camdenton, Missouri, one daughter: Jocelyn A. Vance, of Greenville, Texas, two brothers: Glenn Palmer, of Hartford, Arkansas, Fred Palmer, of Cuba, Missouri, one sister: Helen Dobkins, of Newport, Tennessee, four grandchildren: Traci L. Franco, Roger T. Vance, Christopher M. Dorf and Russell A. Dorf; six great grandchildren: Caleb Dorf Matthew Vance, Sharya Vance, Kourtnee Key, Kelly Key and Angela Franco. The family received friends Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 24, at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cuba, Missouri with Rev. Paul Lathum. Burial was in the Meramec Hills Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hedges Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Mildred Lorene Phillips Mildred Lorene Phillips nee Cloninger formerly of Affton, Missouri was born on Sunday, April 22, 1917 in St. Louis, Missouri to Oscar Cloninger and Sophie Carlton Cloninger. She passed away on Friday, June 18, 2004 at St. Peters Manor Care at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 26 days. Mildred married Otis Phillips on November 13, 1959 at Affton First Baptist Church where she was a member and served faithfully, working several years in the nursery. Mildred enjoyed reading, growing house plants, sewing clothing, attending soccer games of her grandsons and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband Otis Phillips and brother Glen Cloninger. Those who remain to mourn her passing are her son Jerry Phillips and wife Bernadette of O'Fallon, Missouri; brother Wilbert "Wib" Cloninger and wife Joy of Affton, Missouri; two grandsons Todd Phillips and wife Heather of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, and Derek Phillips and wife Jennifer of St. Peters, Missouri; one great grandson Connor Phillips; brother-in-law James R. Margaret Ruth Turnbough Margaret Ruth Turnbough, nee Worley, was born Friday, December 4, 1936, at Davisville, Missouri, a beloved daughter to the late Lawrence Reco Worley and Thelma Gladine (Eaton) Worley. Margaret entered eternal rest Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 67 years, 6 months, and 15 days. On December 19, 1953, at Hernando, Mississippi, Margaret was united in marriage to John Turnbough. They enjoyed over fifty years of marriage together until Margaret's passing. Margaret retired from the BJC Hospital Day Care Education Department in 1996. She and John built a new home on AA Highway that same year, moving to the Steelville, Missouri area. Margaret was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Tabor Memorial Auxiliary #6479. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Frances Turnbough, Dolly Turnbough, Gladine and Lawrence Abney, Dorothy and Henry Ray; one nephew, Lonnie Abney and one niece, Barbara Nipper. Among those who remain to mourn her passing are her loving and devoted husband John Turnbough of the home in Steelville, Missouri; one sister, Phyllis Souders and husband Ralph of Steelville, Missouri; brothers-in-law Elmer Turnbough and wife Gladys of Waynesville, Missouri, and Noah Turnbough of Steelville, Missouri; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friend. Margaret will always be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her. Margaret Ruth Turnbough lay in state at the Britton Bros. Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri after 5 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2004. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2004 in the Britton Chapel with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Musical selections were provided by vocalist April Greer and Rev. Beers pianist and vocalist. Rev. Beers also read eulogies Margaret's cousins, Donna Kay Atkinson and Shirley Eickholt had written. Committal prayers and internment were in the Steelville Cemetery, Steelville, Missouri. Honoring Margaret by serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were Bob Abney, Jeff Atkinson, Ken Bailey, Joe Baker, Leo Blair, Sonny Clayton, Irvin Conaway, Matt Cuddy, Billy Dickens, Chad Eickholt, Gary Eickholt, Lathan Gregory, Eddie Hughes, Art Hughes, Craig W.
