Malissa married Brock Belfield in 1997 and to this union one daughter was born. She later married Robert T. Byrd on November 20, 2006 in Steelville, Missouri and to this union three daughters were born. In school she was active in 4-H Club, Girl Scouts and Pep Squad. Her hobbies were watching scary movies, swimming, floating and camping. Malissa liked to have fun and play jokes on her friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Edna Plank and Ronald Crocker. She is survived by her husband, Robert Byrd of Sullivan, Missouri; father, Keith Blake of Black, Missouri; mother Connie Negretti of Bourbon, Missouri; daughters, Andrea Belfield, Aryanna Byrd, Ashlynn Byrd and Amaya Byrd, all of Sullivan, Missouri; brothers, Keith H. Blake II of Bixby, Missouri, Thomas J. Blake of Cuba, Missouri and Joshua M. Blake of St. James, Missouri; sister, Amanda M. Blake of St. James, Missouri; father-in-law, Thomas Byrd of Ft. Burial was at the Smith Cemetery, Oates, Missouri. Pallbearers were Marcus Bailey, William Rhoads, Edward Haar, William Bruner, III, Jason Hogan, Jim Roper and Oakley Graham. All arrangements under the direction of the Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri. Rev. Roger Dale Dowd Rev. Roger Dale Dowd of Brownsburg, Indiana was born on April 17, 1951 in Berkeley, California to James Ralph and Betty Berniece (Todd) Dowd and passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 at the age of 63 years. Roger grew up in Iowa and graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1969. He graduated Indian Hills Community College in 1971 and attended Southern Bible College in Houston Texas from 1971-1973. Roger worked as a Systems Analyst for 30 years. He was currently employed at Catheter Research, Inc. as an Extrusion Supervisor. While Roger held many jobs over the years, serving the Lord was the most important to him. He pastored Bethel Family Worship Center in Indianapolis from 1991-1994 and was currently serving as the Associate Pastor for Zion Chapel in Lafayette, Indiana. Roger enjoyed golfing and airplanes. He is survived by his wife of nearly 42 years, Carolyn Rose (Fields) Dowd; children, Brian (Jackie) Dowd, Jennifer (David) Hendrix and Tim Dowd; six grandchildren, Nick Dowd, Dorian V. Dowd, Allison Hendrix, Meredith Hendrix, Julian X. Dowd and Zoe Q. Dowd; his mother, Betty Butts; siblings, Jim Dowd, Arlene Dowd and William Dowd. Teresa Lynn Edgmond Teresa Lynn Edgmond of St. James, Missouri was born July 14, 1953 at Rolla, Missouri to Sidney Joseph and Vivian May Rodgers Holman and passed away Saturday June 28, 2014 at the age of 60 years, 11 months and 14 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Vivian Holman; one brother, Michael Holman; and one sister, Susan Holman. She is survived by her sons, Robert N. Holguin of the U.S. Navy and Paul S. Lopez of Rolla, Missouri; two brothers, Gary and Robert Holman both of Bourbon, Missouri; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from Monday, June 30, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri. Geisler of Cuba, Missouri was born to Otto and Adelia (Ruether) Emke on January 26, 1918 in Dutzow, Missouri and passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the age of 96 years. Elda was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family, home, garden and sewing. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Adelia Emke; husband, Erwin Geisler; four sons, Phillip, Gary, Dennis and Thomas Geisler; two grandsons, Sean and Phillip Geisler; four brothers, Raymond, Ewald, Alvin and Norman Geisler; three sisters, Eleanora "Tootsie" Ellenbeck, Tommie Overmark and Alfreida Hoffmeister. McWhorter of Reagan, Oklahoma was born September 28, 1940 to Thomas and Edna Mae McWhorter in Steelville, Missouri and passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the age of 73 years. After graduating from St. James High School and some college, he joined the United States Air Force. He obtained rank of Master Sergeant and retired after 20 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Colene of the home in Reagan, Oklahoma; daughter, Julie McWhorter of St. James, Missouri; daughter, Jill Livingston and fiancˇ Lonnie Schuchmann of St. James, Missouri; son, Scott McWhorter and wife Heather of St. James, Missouri; six grand- children, Paul Wood, David Wood, Tosha Carl, Ricky Livingston, Amber Higgins and Adrianna McWhorter; two great grandchildren, Jaxon and Lincoln Hale; other relatives and friends. Morrow of St. James, Missouri was born July 1, 1960 at Fort Knox, Kentucky to L.C. Ramsey and Mary Smith Gibson Weiler and passed away Thursday June 26, 2014 at the age of 53 years 11 months and 25 days. On July 1, 2012 at St. James, Linda was united in marriage to Gary Morrow. She is survived by her husband, Gary of St. James, Missouri; parents, L.C.
