He passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008 at the age of 75 years, 9 months, and 2 days. Chris served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Patsy Ann Hardin on June 7, 1980 in St. Clair, Missouri. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation and was a member of the UAW Local #136. He liked fishing, gardening, making people laugh, and loved to trade things with others. He was a member of the Cuba Covenant Praise Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Earlene Ivey. He is survived by his wife of Cuba, Missouri; son Jimmy (Ann) Carpenter of Florissant, Missouri; daughter, Sharon (Terry) Bereuter of Maryland Heights, Missouri; step son, Kevin Pigg of Cedar Hill, Missouri; step daughters, Demetra (Norman) Weigel of Cuba, Missouri and Jackie (Bob) Zagar of Sunset Hills, Missouri; brother, Donald (Faye) West of Midland, Texas; sisters-in-law, Geneva (Billy) Smith of Herculaneum, Missouri, Betty Hardin of Fenton, Missouri and Opal Harrison of Bowling Green, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Sonny (Teresa) Hardin of Macy, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation was Sunday, July 6, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. and funeral at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Burial at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri with full military honors. All arrangements under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri. Margaret “Margie” F. Gutierrez Margaret “Margie” F. Gutierrez of Steelville, Missouri was born October 20, 1920 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Marshall and Stella (Branum) Fairless. She passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008 at her home at the age of 87 years. On November 21, 1966 she was united in marriage to Julian Gutierrez. When her health permitted, Margie enjoyed reading, embroidery and most of all taking care of her family. She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Steelville, which was a very important part of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Dean Allen Monroe. She is survived by her husband of 41 years; three sons, Jonathon Gutierrez of San Francisco, California, David Monroe and wife Neleta of Riverton, Wyoming and Larry Monroe and wife of Kayoko, Mustang, Oklahoma; two sisters, Nancy Nessing and husband Pierre of Florissant, Missouri and Pat Mason of Alton, Illinois; three grandchildren, Paula Monroe and husband Mike Henry of Denver, Colorado, Shane Monroe and Katrina Monroe of Los Angeles, California; two step grandchildren, Michael and Brian Clark of Gillette, Wyoming; six great grandchildren, Simon Monroe of Pass Creek, British Columbia, Ashly, Alicia, Gage, Tanner and Autumn Clark, all of Gillette, Wyoming; other relatives and friends. Special music of “God’s Unchanging Hand” and “How Great Thou Art” were sung and played by Rev. Jerry Beers. Amber Rose Isom Amber Rose Isom of Silva, Missouri was born on Thursday, January 2, 1992 in Riverside, California. She passed away on Monday, June 30, 2008 at the age of 16 years, 5 months, and 28 days. Amber was a member of Center Point Baptist Church. She liked scrapbooking, writing poetry, listening to music and dancing. She especially loved animals and being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marley Haskell Isom, Edith Evelyn Pounds Isom and Ralph Brown. Beri Lee Jarden Beri Lee Jarden of Cuba, Missouri was born on Friday, August 27, 1954 in Blue Island, Illinois to Wallace Jarden and Ruth Beringer Jarden. He passed away on Friday, June 27, 2008 at the age of 53 years and 10 months. Beri served his country honorably in the United States Army. He moved to Cuba five years ago from Illinois. He recently was employed as a custodian at the Cuba Public Schools. He was an avid guitar player and also enjoyed singing karaoke. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and mother. He is survived by his wife Brenda Jarden and son Robbie Jarden of Orlando, Florida; father Wallace Jarden and wife Jean of Lansing, Illinois; special friend, Lora Burgess of Leasburg, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Kamm Billie Rosalee Kamm was born Tuesday, January 9, 1923 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Ted Burke and Leah (nee Busby) Burke and passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 85, years 5 months and 25 days. Billie was united in marriage to Arthur H. Kamm on October 20, 1949 at Pocahontas, Arkansas and to this union two daughters were born. She worked for many years as a floral designer for Theresa’s Flower Shop (located downtown St. Louis at Euclid across the street from the Chase). She was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in St. Louis and a current member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign War Post 7147. Billie enjoyed fishing (and she also taught her grandchildren how to fish), golfing, shopping, five card pinochle, flowers, rock hunting, rock collecting but what she truly enjoyed most was spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; other relatives and friends. She is survived by her husband of nearly 59 years, of the home; two daughters, Debra and husband Buddy Brummet of Cuba, Missouri and Vickie and husband Gary Beach of St. Peters, Missouri; three grandchildren, Michael and wife Stacey Brummet and Michele and husband Kirk Davis, all of Cuba, Missouri and Jesse Beach of St. Peters, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Jordan, Garrett, Maddison and Britnee; other relatives and friends. Robbie Hughes McCann Robbie Hughes McCann of Steelville, Missouri was born July 22, 1923 in Macon, Georgia to John and Laura Pauline (Mott) Hughes. She passed away on Monday, June 30, 2008 at the Gibbs Care Center in Steelville, Missouri at the age of 84 years. In 1945, she was united in marriage to John McCann who preceded her in death January 2000. Robbie attended A.L. Miller High School and Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. She was a radio-radar repairperson at Warner Robbins Air Force Base in 1944-1945. After she and her husband, John were married they moved to Chicago, Illinois. She taught school in Calumet Park, Illinois for several years. In 1974, she moved to Tupelo, Mississippi where her husband was transferred by FMC Corporation. In 2002, she moved to Steelville, Missouri. Robbie was a member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Happy Hour Extension Club and a volunteer at Golden Echoes Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five sisters, Eloise Rush, Opal Cosey, Polly Deal, Marjorie Nickels and Mary Mott McCampbell and one son, John P. McCann III. She is survived by three children, Sharon and Kathleen McCann, both of Seattle, Washington and Maureen Sarles and husband Doug of Steelville, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Ann Panozzo, Michelle, Denise and Gregory Cora, Christopher, Matthew and Laura Sarles, JP McCann IV and Alexandra McCann; three great grandchildren, Taylor and Madison Cora and Shyanne Young; one daughter-in-law, Dorothy McCann of Elgin, Illinois; two brothers, James Hughes and wife Jo and John Hughes and wife Betty Ann all of Georgia. Elizabeth “Sue” Ann Starks Elizabeth “Sue” Ann Starks of Leasburg, Missouri, formerly of Steelville, Missouri, was born February 5, 1947 in Steelville, Missouri to Albert and Betty Jo (Perigue) Kreamalmyer. She passed away Monday, June 30, 2008 at her home at the age of 61 years. On June 29, 1985, she was united in marriage to Scott Starks. Sue enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and quilting. She also loved planting flowers and her garden. Sue was baptized and became a member in July 4, 1993 of Covenant Praise Church in Cuba. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 23 years; two sons, Richard E. Light and wife Cheryl of Rolla, Missouri and Lesley C. Light and wife Judy of St. Louis, Missouri; one step daughter, Kimberly Jean Nabor; two brothers, William E. Kreamalmyer and wife Sylvia Jean of West Burlington, Iowa and Robert H. Kreamalmyer and wife Wanda of St. James, Missouri; one half brother, James Gilliam of Cuba, Missouri; one half sister, Joan Krulik of Cuba, Missouri; six grandchildren, Ethan, Autumn, Calvin and Tianna Light, Stevie and Courtney Nabor; two nephews, Kevin Kreamalmyer and Richard Kreamalmyer; one niece, Amy Jean Van Maanen; other relatives and friends.
