She married Victor Anthony Quaranta in December 23, 1958 and to this union four children were born. Victor passed away in 1992. On February 14, 1999 she was united in marriage to John Gilbert Candreia. "Julie", as she liked to be called, was an quid photographer, loved to cook large meals for her family, enjoyed gardening, whistling, dancing and traveling. She was a consumate caregiver, indeed, working at the Missouri Veteran's Home for the better part of 30 years. Wherever she was, it was "home." She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Ruby Henley; husband, Victor Quaranta; husband, John Candreia; four brothers, Charles Henley, Kenneth Henley, Ray Henley and Joe Henley; and one sister, Lora Jagla. Junior married Christy Nicole Gilles on May 8, 2004 at Meramec State Park in Sullivan, Missouri. He lived life for the moment and loved taking risks. He enjoyed playing poker and camping. Junior's favorite saying to his nieces and nephew was, "I'll see you for a quarter and raise you fifty cents." He loved to go to auctions and yard sales and bargaining for the best deals. He was tender hearted and enjoyed feeding birds and squirrels. Family members say Junior was known for making "the world's best taco salad." Magdalena Lorenscheit Magdalena Lorenscheit of Bourbon, Missouri was born on May 28, 1932 to Christian and Gertrude (Kramer) Wypych in Muffendorf, Germany and passed away on July 2, 2017 at the age of 85 years. She was united in marriage to Gunther Lorenscheit in Germany and they immigrated to the United States together on November 10, 1962. They began their home in St. Louis, Missouri and then in 1981, moved to the Sullivan, Missouri area. Following the death of her husband, 21 years ago, Magdalena moved in with her daughter and son-in-law and has been enjoying family time. Their friends even referred to her as "mom." Magdalena enjoyed cooking, gardening and their family pets. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gunther Lorenscheit; parents, Christia and Gertrude Wypych; twin sister, Maria Julicher; and brother, Hans Wypych. John and Rebecca Sue Conaway were united in marriage on March 27, 1993 in Sullivan, Missouri. Over the years, John owned Susnic Bakery, drove a truck and worked as a machinist. His love of music even led him to own and operate a wedding karaoke business for several years. His talents seemed endless; he was talented at baking, cooking, vegetable gardening, he was known as a "computer whiz" and overall known for doing good things. John also volunteered at Eagle Flight Ministries in Steelville, Missouri. Gilbert "Gib" Turnbough Gilbert "Gib" Turnbough was born on July 11, 1924 to Wayne and Luettie (nee Scott) Turnbough in Crawford County, Missouri and passed away on July 2, 2017 at the age of 92 years, 11 months and 21 days. In July of 1950 he married Evelyn Louise Midyett and from this union one daughter was born. He made his profession of faith in 1955 at the age of 30 and served the Lord faithfully all of his days, most recently at First Baptist Church, Cuba, Missouri. Gilbert served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Hopewell Destroyer in the Pacific during WWII. He was proud to have celebrated his 19th, 20th and 21st birthdays at sea. He retired from Brown Shoe Company in 1986 after nearly 35 years of service. She grew up and attended school in St. Louis, Missouri. Alice was united in marriage to Walter H. Whitney on A pril 5, 1942 and four children were born. They raised their family in Overland, Missouri. In 1979, they moved to Cuba, Missouri and after retirement, they moved to Bourbon, Missouri. Alice was a devoted member of the Jehovah witness congregation of Sullivan, Missouri and was known for doing an extensive amount of volunteer work. Alice will be remembered by her many talents; she was a seamstress, great gardener, master bread maker and overall good cook and wonderful homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Whitney; mother, Maudie Bernice Hansard; and two brothers, Thomas and Robert Lewis. Deanna "Dee" Faye Youngman Deanna "Dee" Faye Youngman (nee Bruner) of Columbia, Missouri was born on January 24, 1940 in Cuba, Missouri to George and Leota (Alcorn) Bruner and passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the age of 77 years. She met her husband Thornton "Luke" Youngman when they were attending college at Northeast Missouri State in Kirksville, Missouri. They were married on January 1, 1961 in Cuba, Missouri by her father, Rev. George Bruner who conducted the wedding ceremony. Dee was an action oriented Christian. Some of her caring activities included providing foster baby care, working with Habitat for Humanity when the organization first arrived in Columbia and serving as Chair of the Family Selection Committee. She volunteered to help with many caring activities for Olivet Christian Church. Dee also prepared newsletters for Olivet and Habitat families. She was blessed with a great ear for music and sang in many church choirs. Dee also loved to read books and paint pictures. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Leota Bruner; daughter, Denise Tucker; two sisters, Delores Sego and Loeta Crews; and three brothers, William, Jack and John Bruner.
