Ina was the oldest girl and she had the part of taking care of her sisters after her mother passed away during childbirth when she was 15. She was raised in a loving Christian home and accepted Christ as her Savior as a young adult. After graduating from Steelville High School, Ina moved to St. Louis, Missouri where she worked as a legal secretary. She married Lindell Howard Bouse on June 18, 1950 in Piggott, Arkansas and enjoyed 54 years of marriage. After they moved back to Steelville, Missouri she worked at Hutson Department Store until she retired. She was a member of Steelville Presbyterian Church and was a part of the Mariners group. Ina was a matriarch of knowledge on the family. She kept records of everything she did and never wasted anything, she was very efficient and meticulous. She loved needlework and cross-stitching. In recent years, she enjoyed playing bingo. Even though she never had children of her own, she loved her nephews and nieces as if they were hers. Ina was an amazing baker. Tony Wade Brown Tony Wade Brown of Steelville, Missouri was born October 10, 1968 in Sullivan, Missouri to Billie "Joe" Brown and Anita Callahan- Bridgeman and passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the age of 51 years, 8 months and 28 days. Tony attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church and was always faithful to help take up the offering. He would post sometimes up to five different biblical scriptures each day on Facebook to share and would call it "Today's Promise." Tony loved to shop for clothing, ties and any other items that caught his eye. He enjoyed planting flowers, loved to listen to his many chimes that he collected outdoors and all of his collection of Cardinal birds. His most favorite time of the year was Christmas along with the 4th of July. He loved to watch his nieces and nephews open up their presents and enjoyed having his room decorated all year round with a Christmas tree full of his ornament collection and other decorations. Feeler of Belle, Missouri was born October 29, 1950 to Archie C. and Beatrice C. (Ballance) Feeler and passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the age of 69 years. On January 24, 1969 he married Connie S. Haddox in Owensville Missouri. Lonnie was a member of the Vichy Community Church in Vichy, Missouri. Lonnie retired from the City of Belle after 39 years of service. After retiring from the city Lonnie went to work for Missouri Water Source in Belle until he was unable due to his health. He loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinals, Mizzou football and basketball. He looked forward to all the traveling baseball that Lane participated in. He also loved to watch his granddaughter play basketball. He liked to go trotline fishing (on June 30, he caught a 47 pound flathead catfish) and he was so excited. He loved taking Lane and Ava deer hunting. Lonnie also enjoyed elk hunting and gardening. Norma married Howard Lester Isbell Jr. on Thursday, January 27, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri. Norma spent her life taking care of her home and her family, regardless of what part of the world they lived in. They lived in many states and many countries, while Howard was a Sergeant in the United States Army. During their travels, Norma collected salt and pepper shakers and spoons. She spent her life being a St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan and her son Donald got to take her to one game at Busch Stadium. She spent part of the game yelling at the players and the umpires. Norma owned a tote full of St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues t-shirts. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching "Days of Our Lives" and her favorite time of year was Christmas. Norma's life revolved around her TV, coffee pot and dog "Trixie." Cole Loyd Ponder Cole Loyd Ponder was born October 10, 1950 in La Junta, Colorado to Paul Loyd and Clorinda Marie Ulibarri Ponder and passed away Thursday July 2, 2020 at the age of 69 years. He graduated high school in Scio, Oregon in May 1969. Cole enlisted in the Marine Corp March 1970 in Salem, Oregon. He received his training at the Marine Corp Base, Camp Pendleton, San Diego, California. He served for six years and was in the Vietnam Conflict in 1971. While in the Marine Corp, he met and married Beverlee G. Williams June 30, 1973 at Camp Pendleton, San Diego, California. They had three children. He left the Marine Corp after his divorce and moved to Monroe City, Missouri, where he met Elena M. Shrum. They married June 15, 1979 and had two children. He joined the Army National Guard in 1977. He has a total of 33 years in the service of his country. While he was in the Army National Guard, he served in Iraq in 2004-2005. Cole worked for the St James School District for 33 years and retired in 2006. He is survived by his wife, Elena M. Ponder; five children, Paul T. He came to Missouri several years ago and met the love of his life, Vicki Blake. They lived in Missouri for about five years, then moving to his home state of California, where they lived in the mountains. For the last 10 years, Jack and Vicki made their final home in Sullivan, Missouri. Jack really loved Missouri and enjoyed the beautiful green nature that it is known for. George "Norman" Riebel George "Norman" Riebel of Steelville, Missouri was born July 30, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to George Otto and Brenda Pearl (nee Cape) Riebel and passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 6 days. He married Beverly Jean (nee Barnicle) Riebel on September 17, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri. Norman later married Joyce Trankle in July of 2002. Norman graduated from Steelville High School in 1959. He was employed as a computer field engineer at NCR starting in St. Louis and retiring from EMC2 in Kansas City in 2007. Norman taught his children all the finer things in life such as trout fishing and turkey hunting. Norman's activities with his kids went far beyond hunting and fishing. He coached baseball for Kevin throughout his youth and only work could keep him from attending and coaching one of Kevin's baseball games. Norman was equally dedicated to Karen and her sports and he was proud to attend all of her games throughout her youth and in college. The children still reminisce about their annual summer vacations throughout the country. Norman was proud to watch his kids dance and perform musically and musical instruments were constantly being played in the house. Norman also loved the companionship of his little Yorkies, Samson and Delilah. Norman attended New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Salem, Missouri. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity, and an active member of Lebanon Lodge #77 in Steelville. He was also a member of the Shriners Fraternity as a participative member of t he Moolah Temple in St. Louis for over 30 years. Norman was very proud to be a Mason for over 50 years. On April 29, 1950 she married Bill Rinehart and to this union five children were born. After high school Kathleen worked at the shoe factory in Rolla and later worked at the Elm Restaurant in St. James. She also spent many years working in the vineyards - tying vines, picking grapes, and bottling wine for Stoltz Vineyards. She volunteered in the elementary school in St. James until she was hired as a personal aide for a student. She loved being with the students at school as well as the children she knew and worked with in the 4-H club where she was a volunteer for her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She was a member of the "Friendship Club" and spent many enjoyable days with a special group of ladies in the community. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Kathleen and her husband and later her son, Larry, were caretakers for the Oak Grove Cemetery for many years. Spending time with her family and supporting her kids and grandkids in their many activities made Kathleen the happiest. She didn't miss many ball games or pageants or concerts until her health recently prevented her from attending. She was preceded in death by her parents; step mother; husband, Bill; sisters, Mary Ann Cornick and husband Leonard, Dorothy Pallay and husband Ernie, Ida Dowell and husband Lloyd and Joan Field; brothers-in-law, Morris Branstetter and wife Frances, Hanse Rinehart and wife Fern, Tom Rinehart and wife Mary Belle, and Jess Rinehart; sister-in-law, Mary Frost and husband Garth. Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Connie and husband Bill Laney; sons, Ronnie Rinehart and wife Dianna, Kevin Rinehart and wife LaDonna, Kyle Rinehart and wife Ramona and Larry Rinehart and wife Debbie; brothers-in-law, Jim Rinehart and Martin Rinehart; sisters-in-law, Patty Rinehart and Betty Rinehart; grandchildren, Jeremy Laney (Tracy), Jeff Laney, Whitney Evans (Ryan), Adrienne Wallis, Chiara Wallis, Ross Rinehart (Kasey), Taylour Rinehart, Ashlyn Rinehart, Alyssa Rinehart, Chris Rinehart (Cody), and Shauna Rinehart; great grandchildren, Braxtyn Crider, Lorelai Laney, Elijah Evans, Silas Hancock, Emilighn Laney, Thatcher Hancock, Keightyn Creek, Jackson Evans, and Kredynce Wallis; many other relatives and friends. Private visitation for children and grandchildren was held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at James and Gahr Mortuary in St. James, Missouri. Private graveside service followed at the Oak Grove Cemetery with Fr. Brendan Griffey officiating. "Amazing Grace" and "I'll Fly Away" was sung by great nieces and nephews, Heather Vinyard, Katie Moreland, Sam Bunyard, Isaac Helterbrand, Rebecca Bunyard, and Jacob Rinehart. Pallbearers were grandchildren Jeremy Laney, Jeff Laney, Whitney Evans, Chris Rinehart, Ross Rinehart, Taylour Rinehart, and Shauna Rinehart. Elsie "Alene Vawter Elsie "Alene" Vawter (nee Goodman) of Sullivan, Missouri was born on Friday, July 4, 1924 in Kings Mill, Arkansas to James David and Ona Rena Jones Goodman and passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at the age of 95 years, 11 months and 25 days. Alene married William Oliver Vawter on September 19, 1942 in Hardy, Arkansas. Alene and Bill leased the Motorport Restaurant and Gas station for many years in Hardy, Arkansas. Alene worked in many different factories in her adult life. She was a very kind and sweet lady and a dedicated, committed worker. She was a faithful Christian and a member of the Lasting Hope Assembly of God Church in Bourbon, Missouri where she taught Sunday School. She loved cooking and helping at the church dinners. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and especially making pies. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ona Goodman; husband, William Oliver Vawter; sons, Harold Vawter and Mark Vawter; sisters, Willene Kary, Ola Snow and Maxine Helms; and brother, Donald Goodman. She is survived by her children, Lindell (Bonnie) Vawter of Leslie, Missouri, Michael (Judy) Vawter of Taft, Tennessee, Keith (Terri) Vawter of Mansfield, Missouri, Debbie (Jimmie) Anderson of Stanton, Missouri and Kenny (Joanne) Vawter of Houston, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Julie (Gary) Goss of St. Clair, Missouri; brother, Stanley (Kay) Goodman of Cedar Hill, Missouri, sister, Sharon Goodman of St. Charles, Missouri; brother-in-law, Chuck Kary of Winchester, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the Hutson Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Hutson Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri with Pastor James Austin officiating.
