She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Joy Crow of Sullivan, Missouri; daughter, Sharon Willis of Bourbon, Missouri; one sister, Evelyn Saunders and husband Richard of Staunton, Illinois; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri. Johnson of St. James, Missouri was born April 20, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lonnie Johnson and Wilma Mae Pitts and passed away July 11, 2014 at the age of 79 years. He was united in marriage to Lola Jewell Cranfill in Reno, Nevada. Stanley was a painter for many years and was a member of the Painters Union in St. Louis. He served in the US Navy and won many medals and commendations. Stanley loved to fish and always had a story to tell about the big one that got away. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Wilma Johnson; his wife, Lola Jewell Johnson on January 4, 2011; two sons, Louie and John Johnson; one grandson, Rodney Lewis and wife Wilma L. Lewis; two sisters, Louis and Imogene. He is survived by Lee Johnson of St. James, Missouri, Ellis Johnson of St. James, Missouri, Bill Johnson and wife Katie of St. James, Missouri, James Johnson and wife Connie of St. James, Missouri, Bob Johnson and wife Dana of Boston, Massachusetts; dear family friend, Mary Karnes and husband Danny of St. James, Missouri; lifelong friend, Tony Banks of St. James, Missouri; 19 grand- children; many great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation was at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri. Funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. on July 15, 2014 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri with Phil Echols officiating. Burial with full military honors was at the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Cuba, Missouri. Pallbearers were family and friends. Sands of Rolla, Missouri was born in Rolla, Missouri on January 22, 1945 to Kenness and Emma (Huskey) Brown and passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the age of 69 years. Raising four children Kay wanted to be able to set her own hours so she worked as a housekeeper in private homes in and around the Rolla community. After deciding she could no longer live on her own she moved to the Golden Living Center in St. James, Missouri where she offered up her services as the designated "Welcome Committee" and official "Rounds Committee" going in and checking on everyone first thing every morning, having been a "caretaker" most all of her life. Kay enjoyed crafts and going to the casino. The St. Louis Cardinals have lost their #1 fan, when they were on TV you could always find Kay cheering for them, especially Matt Holiday and Yadier Molina, they were her favorites. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenness and Emma Brown; sister, Lucille Benton; and brother, Dean Brown. She is survived by her children, Robert Sands of Rolla, Missouri, Kenny Sands and wife Katie of Rolla, Missouri, Walter Sands and wife Tina of Rolla, Missouri, and Scherilda Mantore and husband Clinton of Rolla, Missouri; grandchildren, Christina Parks, Brian Sands, Justina and Devon Skaggs, Brandon Sands, Cassey Sands, Travis Ross Jr., Destiny Ross, Meghan Sands and Isaac Ross; great grandchildren, Audrey Sands, Ashely Parks, Maci Skaggs, Lucus Skaggs, Paris Ross, Arley Skaggs and Ellie Sands; brothers, James Brown and wife Doris of Rolla, Missouri, Jerry Brown of Florida, Terry Brown of St. Louis, Missouri and Dennis Brown and wife Karen of Rolla, Missouri; other relatives and friends. David Otto Sutton David Otto Sutton of Louisiana, Missouri was born on Tuesday, January 31, 1939 to Otto David and Nellie Foster Sutton in Potosi, Missouri and passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 10 days. David married Nellie Ann Reed on April 18, 1958 and to this union four children were born. He worked for 33 years and retired from Lincoln Engineering, St. Louis, Missouri as a machinist. He married Dorothy May Lauth on June 26, 1975 in Overland, Missouri. He was a member of the Local UAW in St. Louis, Missouri and a member for many years of the Optimist Club in Cuba, Missouri. He was very active serving in the Optimist Club especially offering his lake for youth to fish in during the Fishing Derby events. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler and playing cards. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Nellie Sutton; brother, John Sutton; sister, Shirley (Wesley) Haus; brother-in-law, Louis Doskocil and stepfather, Gus Stricker. He is survived by his children, Gail (Steve) Crabtree of Ballwin, Missouri, Jeannie (Ron) Ritter of Orlando, Florida, David (Alberta) Edward Sutton of Louisiana, Missouri, Jeff and Matthew Sutton of Orlando, Florida; sisters, Pat (Darrell) Phillips and Nancy Doskocil of Cuba, Missouri; brother, Bud (Joyce) Landis of San Bernardino, California; sister-in-law, Norma Sutton of Alabama; 14 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; six great great grand- children; other relatives and friends. Visitation was Monday, July 14, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. and funeral service Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri with Rev. Joe Bruno officiating.
