On February 14, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri she married Donald Brinkley and to this union four children were born. Barbara was a member of the Lighthouse Methodist Church in St. Louis, Missouri. She had worked as a loan processor for Peoples Bank in Steelville, Missouri for several years. She enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsworth and Emma Best; one son, Donald Brinkley, Jr.; grandson, Benjamin Ransom; brother, Robert Best; sister, Viola "Dotta" Daniels and her husband George; brothers-in-law, Bob Bowen, Bob Stamper and Gary Brinkley. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Don Brinkley of Steelville, Missouri; one son, Daniel Brinkley and wife Tina of Steelville, Missouri; two daughters, Donna Mayberry and husband Don of Rogers, Arkansas and Daphne Brinkley of Steelville, Missouri; two sisters, Wanda Bowen and Donna Jean Stamper both of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren, D.J. Special music of "Amazing Grace" was played and sung by Rev. Jerry Beers. "Sissy's Song" was also played. Memories were shared by daughter, Donna Mayberry. Johnie Earvin Bryan Johnie Earvin Bryan of Sullivan, Missouri was born December 24, 1930 to George H. and Frances Annie (Hackman) Bryan in Morrison, Missouri and passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the age of 84 years. On August 18, 1979 he married Patricia Davis in Collinsville, Illinois. Johnie enjoyed a variety of jobs during his lifetime; from working on an Iowa dairy farm at age 16 to Wal-Mart greeter at age 70. Johnie enlisted in the Marine Corps in April 1952 and served his country until April of 1960. After returning from the military, he spent many years as a truck driver and enjoyed seeing the country. He was a member of the I.A.of M. Union #777 for over 15 years. He spent his free time fishing, hunting, bowling, camping and traveling with Pat and his family. He also enjoyed relaxing on his front porch and waving at the trains and friendly people passing by. He always had a friendly smile and hello and was happy to share stories of his life. Johnie was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Leasburg, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia in February 2008; one son, Kevin Tucker; two brothers, Riley and George Bryan; and three sisters, Virginia Cox, Dorothy Rogers and Anna Marie Hicks. J.C. was united in marriage to Lylis Giesler in 1976. He was a sewing machine mechanic for several companies and worked for the James Foundation in St. James, Missouri. Robert served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War as a cook. He then worked several years for West Construction Company in Sullivan, Missouri as an asphalt layer in road construction. His hobbies were gardening and yard work.
