Charlene was married to Russell Bishop and to this union two sons were born. Charlene was of the Pentecostal faith and was an ordained minister. She had attended the City of Light and Life Ministries in St. James, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ruby Sutton; and one sister, Elizabeth Veach Barnicle. She is survived by her two sons, Rusty Bishop and wife Carrie of Steelville, Missouri and Jason Bishop of Sullivan, Missouri; two brothers, Earl Barnicle of Leasburg, Missouri and Gary Barnicle of Pensacola, Florida; one sister, Kathy Maize of Catawissa, Missouri; four grandchildren, Ashley and Sara Bishop and R.J. and Elaina Bishop Burrus; former daughter-in-law, Amelita Hufford of Washington, Missouri; great uncle, Tom Sutton of New Jersey; other relatives and friends. Special music of "I Want Us to Be Together in Heaven" was sung and played by Richard Ryerson. Other music of "When I Get Where I am Going" and "I Will Rise" was also played. Jessie Lee Bockover Jessie Lee Bockover of Cuba, Missouri was born on April 4, 1958 in Steelville, Missouri to Orlando and Bonnie (Eoff) Bockover and passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the age of 57 years. Jessie worked in the construction trade; he loved his job and took great pride in the work that he did. He had a great passion for horses and people. He really enjoyed helping people and went out of his way to help whomever needed something done, or just needed a friend. Jesse loved to barbeque, he would round everyone up and set up the grill and spend many afternoons and evenings around the grill. He was preceded in death by his father, Orlando Bockover. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Bockover of Cuba, Missouri; brothers, James, Robert, and Leroy Bockover of Cuba, Missouri; sister, Vera Valley of Rolla, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Burrus (nee Hutson) of Salem, Missouri was born on Saturday, March 10, 1928 in Sligo, Missouri to Otis Hadley and Martha Elizabeth (Bell) Hutson and passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 8 days. Blanche accepted the Lord at a young age and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Salem, Missouri. She married Freeman Burrus one week after her high school graduation at the age of 17. The date was May 26, 1946 and they married in Sligo, Missouri. They enjoyed 69 years of marriage. She worked as a floor lady at International Shoe Company in Salem, Missouri. She and Freeman were half owners of Salem Bowling Lanes where she worked for a number of years. She later worked at Cindy Brown's Dress Shop and lastly Mark's Jewelers until she left outside work to stay home and be a full time grandma. Blanche enjoyed decorating her house and entertaining her family each Thanksgiving. She enjoyed bowling, needlework, baking, camping, gardening and backyard barbeques. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Elizabeth Hutson; parents-in-law, Dolf Burrus and Ida Burrus Click Happel; step parents-in-law, Ralph Click and Floyd "Buck" Happel; and brother, Delmar B. Hutson. She is survived by her husband, Freeman W. Matthew Bruce Dixon Matthew Bruce Dixon of Amarillo, Texas was born on May 30, 1924 in the Bronx, New York to Alexander and Patricia Dixon and passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Matthew was a mechanical engineer for Boeing. He loved to swim and work in his woodworking shop. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Patricia Dixon; one sister; and one son. Darel Joe James Darel Joe James of St. James, Missouri born in Vienna, Missouri on April 23, 1946 to Herbert Charles and Wilma (Snodgrass) James and passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the age of 69 years. Darel was raised on a farm in Vienna, Missouri. Darel started school at the Snodgrass School where he spent four years with his grandmother Phoebe Snodgrass as the teacher; then to the Star School where his mother, Wilma James was his teacher. He would spend two years at Vienna, Missouri before starting high school in St. James, Missouri. He was a 1964 graduate of John F. Hodge High School, a 1966 graduate of Marler Barber College in St. Louis, Missouri and in 1976 he graduated from Kentucky School of Mortuary Science. Darel served his country in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany and helped build the bridge over the Rhine River. On March 30, 1974 Darel married Donna Jean Campbell. Darel worked for the Keebler Company as a truck driver, Licklider Furniture and Appliance as a salesperson and store manager, Weidinger Chevrolet as a salesperson, Fairground Chevrolet as a salesperson, James & Gahr Mortuary as a licensed funeral director and embalmer and PCRMC as a courtesy driver; he retired in 2012. Darel served on the St. James Utility Board for 20 years, and was President for many of those years; member of the Lanes Prairie Masonic Lodge, Kiwanis Club, Scottish Rite; Chairman of the St. James Grape & Fall Festival in 1974; he served on the St. James Industrial Board, St. James Chamber of Commerce, James Foundation Advisory Committee, 1964 Class Reunion Committee, and volunteered directing traffic on many March 1 opening day at Maramec Spring. He was baptized at the St. James Christian Church in 1982, and joined the St. James First Baptist Church in 1995. He was an avid race car enthusiast often going to the races at the Lebanon Speedway. He enjoyed all types of sporting events. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Wilma James; his brother, George James; grandparents, George and Phoebe Snodgrass and Robert and Bettie James. Edith Ella Schnieders Edith Ella Schnieders of St. James, Missouri was born on January 5, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri to Bud and Edith Ann Phillips Carrigan and passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 16 days. She was united in marriage to Andrew M. Schnieders. She was a Book Packer at the Scholastic Company for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Edith Ann Carrigan; husband, Andrew M. Schnieders on January 15, 2001; one brother, Maurice Carrigan; and one sister, Fay Ross. Ervin Andrew Stubblefield Ervin Andrew Stubblefield of Cuba, Missouri was born Tuesday, April 11, 1933 at St. Louis, Missouri to Andrew Ervin and Lillian Irene (nee Rahlman) Stubblefield and passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Ervin graduated Cuba High School in 1951 and then attended the University of Missouri Columbia - School of Agriculture. He worked on and later operated the family dairy farm on Brush Creek near Cuba, Missouri. He later worked as a concrete finisher and became a member of the Cement Masons Local #527 of St. Louis, Missouri. Ervin owned and operated the Western Auto in Cuba, Missouri for 20 years. Ervin was the longest serving director on the Crawford Electric Cooperative Board of Directors with 42 years of service. He served on the First Community National Bank Board of Directors, and prior to his passing, Ervin was elevated to "Director Emeritus" of the bank. Ervin was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Trinity Chapel. He served as an Elder, a Deacon and was a member of the Mariners at church. Throughout his life, he was a member of the Crawford County R-II School Board, the Cuba Lion's Club, Junior Chamber of Commerce, 4-H project leader and the Crawford County Republican Central Committee. He raised cattle, hogs and enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Lillian Stubblefield; and one brother, Tom Stubblefield. Charlotte Belle Taylor Charlotte Belle Taylor (nee Schreiber) was born on Friday, October 16, 1936 in Mount Home, Idaho to Louis W. and Viola B. Schreiber and passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 10 days. She married Harry Taylor, Jr. on April 9, 1952 in Reno, Nevada and to this union eight children were born. Charlotte worked many years waitressing in restaurants. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, flowers, painting, traveling, and taking care of her husband and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Viola Schreiber; two sons, Paul Scott Taylor and Wayne Christopher Taylor; brother, Ronald J. Schreiber; sister Beverly S. Tonelis of Nebo, North Carolina, formerly of Kings Mountain, was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Edward J. and Betty Rehrig Tonelis and passed away on July 22, 2015 in Asheville at the age of 56 years. He was a 1977 graduate of Parkland High School, Whitehall, Pennsylvania and 1983 graduate of Penn State. He received his Masters Degree from University of Missouri, Rolla, Missouri. He was an employee of Unimin in Spruce Pine, North Carolina where he worked in mineral process research and was former Plant Manager for 14 years for Kings Mountain Mining.
