Heath worked for Steve Ellington and Son for the last 12 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the river, swimming and shooting guns. He spent many hours play his Xbox. Paul Warren Harvey Paul Warren Harvey of Steelville, Missouri was born on Friday, May 31, 1946 in Newburg, Missouri to Warren G. and Marie (Smith) Henson. He was adopted by Carroll E. and Mary B. (Morgan) Harvey and passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 20 days. Paul was raised on a large hog farm around Gilliam, Missouri by his adoptive parents. He was reunited with his five biological sisters when he was in his twenties. Paul worked for over 18 years on barges on the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. He was an over the road truck driver for over 30 years and some of his happiest times were when he was driving his truck. He loved fishing, particularly for the "big" fish. He enjoyed watching football and riding motorcycles. He was very generous, and if he had it to give, he would help anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Mary Harvey; sisters, Vesta (George) Bramel, Marsha (Gene) Hiedler and Susan Roberts; and his nephew, Billy Earney. Janet Susan Lingelback Hemme Janet Susan Lingelbach Hemme of St. James, Missouri was born on December 3, 1951 in Boone, Iowa to Robert and Louise Frank Pholner and passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at the age of 68 years. On February 14, 2006 she married John Hemme in St. James, Missouri. She had previously been married to Bennett Lingelbach. She enjoyed listening to George Strait songs and dancing. "Mickey" Horner (nee Kelley) was born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on Monday, August 9, 1937 to Andrew Venus and Rosa Mae (Reynolds) Kelley and passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 8 days. Mickey accepted the Lord at a young age. She attended Fremont High School in Oakland, California. She met her husband Jack at a dance after her brother Andy asked her to go with a group of friends. Mickey and Jack married on April 23, 1955 in Reno, Nevada. They were married 54 years. They raised their family in Fremont, California. Mickey enjoyed singing, (especially harmony), playing the guitar, camping, boating, water skiing, traveling on the open road and later flying their private airplane. She also enjoyed genealogy. After Jack's retirement they moved to the Viburnum, Missouri area to be near her brother and sister's family. They both took up bus driving for the Viburnum School District and enjoyed all of the children. Marion married Howard Hutson on July 14, 1967 in Cuba, Missouri. Marion graduated from Steelville High School in 1964. She was a member of the Steelville Presbyterian Church. During her lifetime she had been employed at Cuba Shoe, Western Auto, Gladden's Green House and for several years Bill's Dollar Store. In earlier years Marion enjoyed playing first base on the summer softball league and bowled in the winter league. She also loved being outside working in the yard. Vertis Donald "Fritz" Johanning Vertis Donald "Fritz" Johanning of Leslie, Misosuri was born in Hooper, Nebraska on May 15, 1924 to Henry August and Amelia Hanna (Janssen) Johanning and passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the age of 96 years. Fritz honorably served his country in the United State Navy from 1944-1946. On October 25, 1945 he married Hallie Lawrence. Fritz and Hallie lived in St. Louis, Missouri for a short time before moving to the farm on Evergreen Loop, Leslie, Missouri in 1953. Fritz was a hard worker and nearly always kept two jobs. He drove a school bus for Spring Bluff R-15, but his main vocation was as a rural mail carrier for the Leslie Post Office. He was employed by the Post Office from October 1, 1960 until he retired on November 30, 1984. Fritz loved to work on his farm and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Fritz was very athletic and played fast pitch softball well into his 60's. His activities also included bowling for Mastin Tile and throwing horseshoes. He attended Evergreen Baptist Church in Leslie, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hallie Johanning; one granddaughter, Alicia Key; parents, Henry and Amelia Johanning; four brothers, Wilfred, Harry, Raymond and Delmar Johanning; and three sisters, Henrietta Danz, Lois Schollmeyer and Irma Thenhaus. Raymond William McCann Raymond William McCann was born July 20, 1927 on the family farm near Cook Station, Missouri, to Charles Edward and Mamie Friederica Kampman McCann and passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the age of 93 years. Ray graduated from Steelville High School in 1945 and received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1955. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, released from active duty as a Petty Officer Third Class. He remained in the Naval Reserve and after college graduation was commissioned as an officer. He served in the Naval Intelligence Reserve program until he retired as a full Lieutenant in 1971. He was married on October 16, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to Audrey Louise Stibick. On September 26, 1981 he married Mary Kathleen "Katie" Schrimpf Schnieders. Raymond was employed with the St. Louis office of the Missouri Division of Employment Security from 1961-1965. He then transferred to their Central Office in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was promoted to Division Personnel Officer and served in that position until retiring in 1993, after 32 years with the agency. After his retirement, he worked part-time with Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home for several years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Military Officer's Association, past member of the Masonic Lodge (32nd Degree), and the International Personnel Management Association. He grew up and attended school in Leasburg, Missouri. As a young man, he worked hauling ice from Cuba, Missouri to local areas. Throughout the next 44 years, Don worked for Ramsay Corp., then Dana and eventually, Sealed Power. In 2000 he went to work at Bourbon High School as a custodian, retiring in 2012 at age 74. Don married Charleen F. Roberts on July 20, 1963 in Marquand, Missouri. Don greatest joys were his grandsons, Chase and Lane. He also enjoyed his farm and especially loved his cattle. Don loved playing softball in his younger days and through the years, he liked hunting rabbits and squirrels, and traveling and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Barbara Perschbacher; two brothers, Stanley and Roland; and two sisters, Lorraine Bryan and Jerry Britton. Judy married George William "Bill" Treece at Cuba in 1957. Judy started her working career at Central Hardware, then Wallis and she retired from the real estate business. Judy worked for Century 21 for 20+ years as a real estate agent. She earned the Century 21 Top Salesperson on February 17, 1982. She was a member of Trinity Chapel for many years before her health began to decline. Judy and Bill spent hours dancing together. Elsie attended school in Keysville, Missouri. She accepted the Lord early in life. She married Charles Sheldon Weaver in Cherryville, Missouri on July 27, 1946. She was a member of United Baptist Church in Steelville, Missouri. She was a full time homemaker and enjoyed cooking and babysitting. Her home was the popular place to be on Sundays as she always had her famous fried chicken on the menu. She spent a lot of time sitting on her porch and watching her hummingbirds feed. She was an avid bowler and participated in many bowling leagues. Other hobbies included traveling, following the St. Louis Cardinals and watching Wheel of Fortune. Deanna Lynn Wiggins Deanna Lynn Wiggins (nee Bouse) was born on Thursday, July 28, 1950 in Rolla, Missouri to Jack Hershel and Wilma Alice (Ives) Bouse and passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 22 days. Deanna accepted the Lord early in life. She graduated from Cuba High School in 1969. She married John Suttmueller. She was a model for Barbizon Modeling and Acting for a couple years. She started as an airline attendant for TWA in St. Louis, Missouri in the early 70s. She worked for Cardin Machine Shop as a secretary in Sullivan, Missouri in the early 80s. She later met Michael Wiggins, and they were married in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on May 29, 1989. They then moved to Alabama. She later worked for McDonnell Douglas (later Boeing), where she was a liaison between them and the government for Apache helicopters. She was a world traveler. She enjoyed reading, particularly mysteries. She loved to sing, especially gospel music. She adored her two dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Wilma Ives; step mother, Judith "Julie" Bouse; and father-in-law, Allen Wiggins. She is survived by her husband, Michael Wiggins of Ardmore, Alabama; mother-in-law, Karen (Harold) Romero of Huntsville, Alabama; son, Rhett Jackson (fianc¸e Gina) Suttmueller of De Soto, Missouri; daughter, Natalie Alexis Wiggins of Stevenson, Washington; step sons, Richard Wiggins of Rolla, Missouri and Quentin Wiggins of Ozark, Missouri; step daughter, Tabatha Wiggins of Stevenson, Washington; sisters, Susan (Jim) Ealer of Cuba, Missouri and Phyllis Lacy of Sullivan, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Darryl (Jacquie) Wiggins of St. George, Utah and Greg (Linda) Wiggins of Pleasant Grove, Utah; sister-in-law, Nelda (Carlin) Hogan of Anchorage, Alaska; uncle, Tom (Ruby) Bouse of Cuba, Missouri; aunts, Jean Belt of Cuba, Missouri, Marvelle Kaysinger and Bernice Ives, both of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Rachel Suttmueller and Chase Suttmueller, both of De Soto, Missouri; step grandchildren, Sara Wiggins and Gabe Wiggins, both of Rolla, Missouri and Penni Wiggins, Kyla Wiggins, Brenin Wiggins, Logan Wiggins and Sawyer Wiggins, all of Ozark, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Stephen James "Poncho" Bubba Wood Jr. Stephen James "Poncho" "Bubba" Wood Jr. of Cuba, Missouri was born Thursday, June 2, 1994 in Phoenix, Arizona to Stephen Sr. and BillieJo (nee Speckhals) Wood and passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at the age of 26 years. Although his life was cut short, Stephen's memory will remain vibrant in the lives and hearts of many. Stephen was a traveler and worked for many people over the years. Stephen loved being a father, going to the river, spending time with friends and most importantly making those he loved laugh, with a colorful story or tell-all facial expression. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Speckhals. He is survived by his parents, Stephen and wife Patricia Wood Sr. of Cuba, Missouri and BillieJo Wood of Phoenix, Arizona; one son, Grayson Wood of Zanesville, Ohio; grandmother, Sheran Greene of Kalispell, Montana; one brother, Thomas Wood of Lake of Ozarks, Missouri; one sister, Alyssa Wood of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania; one half sister, Amanda Loomis of Cottonwood, Arizona; step brothers and step sister, Brett Snodgrass of Sullivan, Missouri, Brock, Brendan and Bethany Snodgrass, all of Cuba, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
