Frances O. Bick
Frances O. Bick (nee Giesler), formerly of Cuba, fortified with the
Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, July 26, 2003; beloved
wife of the late Orville F. Bick; dearest mother of Orlean McAuliffe
(Bob) and Cort Bick (Kathy), of Cuba, Mo.; cherished grandmother of
R. Emmett McAuliffe (Martha), Megan Boschini (Victor), Ellen Ambrose
(Stephen), Michael McAuliffe, and Clayton (Sheri), Charles (Christina),
and Andrew (Pamela) Bick; our dear great grandmother of 14, aunt, and
friend. Visitation was held Wednesday, July 30, 12:30 until 1 p.m. Mass
at St. Clement Catholic Church, 1510 Bopp Road (Des Peres). Interment
private. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.

William H. Bruner
William Harold Bruner of Cuba, Mo. was born in Dillard, Mo. to George H.
Bruner and Leota M. Alcorn Bruner on Friday, August 5, 1927. He passed
away at Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, Mo. on Thursday,
July 24, 2003 at the age of 75 years, 11 months, and 19 days.
William worked several years as a tools salesman for the Litton Industry.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Cuba, Mo. and also a
member of the Cuba Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John E. Bruner.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his children: Jacquelyn Bottom
and husband Mike of Cuba, Mo., W. H. Bruner, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of
Cherryville, Mo., Kenneth G. Bruner and wife Terri of St. James, Mo.,
John C. Bruner of Cuba, Mo., Paul R. Bruner and wife Rhonda of Bourbon, Mo.,
Robert E. Bruner of Union, Mo., and Joan Koper of Washington, Mo.
Brothers Jack E. Bruner and wife Margarita of Costa Rica, Ronald A. Bruner
of Waynesville, Mo.; and sisters Delores Sego of Cuba, Mo., Deanna Youngman
and husband Luke of Columbia, Mo., and Leota Crews and husband Cliff of
Boss, Mo.; 25 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nephews, nieces,
cousins, and many friends.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
All arrangements under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Mo.
Infant Holland Twins
Infant twin sons of Mike and Sara (Nowland) Holland of Cuba, Mo. were
stillborn on Friday, July 18, 2003.
They were preceded in death by great-grandparents Francis and Betty Nowland.
Those who remain to mourn their passing are their parents Mike and Sara
Holland of Cuba, Mo.; sisters Jamie Nicole Holland of St. James, Mo., and
Autumn Marie Holland of Cuba, Mo.; grandmother Kathy Nowland of Cuba, Mo.;
grandparents Frank and Bonita Nowland of Steelville, Mo., and Thomas Wayne
and Elizabeth E. Holland of Bourbon, Mo.; great-grandparents Doug and Beth
Potratz of Neenah, Washington; nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, July 24, 2003 at 11 a.m. at
Mounts Cemetery with Rev. Spencer Hutson officiating.
Burial was in the Mounts Cemetery, Cuba, Mo.
All arrangements under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Mo.
Barry Lynn Stulce
Barry Lynn Stulce was born Thursday, April 28, 1955, at Steelville, Mo.,
a son of the late Fred Marion Stulce and Rosalee (nee Gillam) Stulce.
He departed this life at his home in Willard, Mo., on Thursday,
July 24, 2003 at the age of 48 years, 2 months and 26 days.
Barry was united in marriage to Phyllis Carl, daughter of Bernice Carl
and the late Reldon Carl, June 28, 1975 in Steelville, Mo. Two children
were born to this union, a son, Bradley Stulce and a daughter, Melissa
(Stulce) Barbee. The couple resided in Cuba, Mo. before making Willard, Mo.
their home for the past nine years. They enjoyed over 28 years together.
Barry was employed by Hiland Dairy in Springfield, Mo., as a Maintenance
Technician. In addition to his parents, two brothers, Homer (Sonny) Stulce
and Fred (Jobie) Stulce, Jr., father-in-law Reldon Carl and two brothers-in-law,
Lovell Moses and Charlie Carl preceded him in death.
Among those who remain to mourn his passing are his loving wife Phyllis Stulce
of the home, his son, Bradley Stulce and wife Tara of Republic, Mo.; his
daughter Melissa Barbee and husband Brian of Bois D'Arc, Mo.; one grandson,
Killian Barbee of Bois D'Arc, Mo.
Three brothers, Dale Stulce and wife Rena of Steelville, Mo., Ron Stulce and
wife Ruth of Steelville, Mo., and Mark Stulce and wife Belinda of Viburnum,
Mo.; three sisters, Linda Moses of Florissant, Mo., Judy Harding and husband
LLarry ofCuba, Mo., and Donna Doss and husband Tom of Viburnum, Mo.
Also remaining are mother-in-law, Bernice Carl of Viburnum, Mo.,
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Shirley Stulce of Steelville, Mo.,
Rita Stulce of Little River, South Carolina, Rose and Herb Gillam of Viburnum,
Mo., Dale and Pat Carl of St. Joseph, Mo., Betty Carl of Steelville, Mo.
Judy and Bill Prater of Redford, Mo., Richard and Nancy Carl of Cuba, Mo.,
Mariam and Gene Smith of Black, Mo., Lynn and Ronnie Chandler of Belleview, Mo.,
Buddy Carl of Viburnum, Mo., and Billy and Sharon Carl of Black, Mo.; nieces,
nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Barry Lynn Stulce lay in state Saturday, July 26, 2003, 1 to 9 p.m. at the
Britton Brothers Funeral Home in Steelville, Mo. Funeral services were held 11
a.m. Sunday, July 27, 2003, at the Britton Chapel, Steelville, Mo., with the
Rev. Ronnie Chandler officiating. Patti Campbell provided musical selections.
Committal prayers and interment were in the Upper Indian Creek Cemetery,
Viburnum, Mo. Serving as pallbearers were Larry Harding, Jr., Jason Hedrick,
Owen Prince, Owen Prince, Sr., Mike Snyder, Ron Stulce and Scott Stulce.
Arrangements were under the direction of Britton Funeral Home, Steelville, Mo.
