At 12 years old, Ronald professed his faith in Christ in the Baptist faith. He enjoyed the outdoors by his love of fishing and camping. He was known by all who knew him as the “Great Aggravator.” He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Johnny and Bill Asher and one sister, Louise Parrett. Norma worked through the years for Cuba Shoe Company, Yogi Bear Park and was a grocery clerk for Summers Market and Tru-Buy Grocery Store all in Cuba, Missouri. In her spare time she enjoyed collecting music boxes, cooking, embroidery work. She was an avid reader and had a great sense of humor. Rita, as she was known by her family and friends, was united in marriage to Larry W. Blue on November 23, 1973. After their marriage they made their home in Missouri where Rita earned her degree as a registered nurse. She was employed at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri and Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri. She was also a flight nurse with Air Evac. She was an outgoing and likeable person who never knew a stranger. She always wanted to help people, which was the reason for her working in the health care field. Above all, she was a dedicated wife and mother and was a devoted homemaker. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis McCorkle. Ben was a graduate of Cuba High School and obtained certification in heating and air conditioning from Rolla Vo-Tech School in 1978. He worked 22 years at Echo Supply in Cuba, Missouri as a die maker until their closing. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists Union (IA of M) District 9, Lodge 41. He married Cynthia Marie Koepke on July 27, 1996 in Union, Missouri. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, collecting Indian artifacts, and gardening.
