Gladys Louise Anderson
Gladys Louise Anderson of St. Ann, Missouri, was born December 14, 1924
in Desloge, Missouri and passed away July 27, 2010 at Pacific Care Center
at the age of 85 years.
She was preceded in death by parents, James Henry and Radie Cora (Kindred)
Eaton; two sons, Donald Anderson and Ronald Edgar Anderson; daughter, Norma
Anderson Downing; granddaughter, Tammy Owens; four brothers, Murrill,
Melvin, Dale, and Alva Eaton; four sisters, Helen Ruth Eaton, Shirley
Dalton, Viola Erlinger, Zetta Mell.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Allen Pratt and wife Barbara of
Sullivan, Missouri, James David Pratt and wife Valerie of Robertsville,
Missouri; daughter, Diana Lynn Aufderheide of St. Ann, Missouri; nine
grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren;
sister, Joyce Summers of LaFayette, Illinois; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Friday, July 30, 2010 at 5 p.m. at C. Z. Boyer & Son
Funeral Home in Desloge, Missouri.
Services were Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11 a.m. at C. Z. Boyer & Son
Chapel in Desloge, Missouri with Rev. Court Buchanan officiating.
Interment was at the Herod Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home.
Richard A. Bounds
Richard A. Bounds, formerly of Steelville, Missouri, passed away
suddenly Saturday, June 26, 2010 as a result of a motorcycle accident at
the age of 62 years.
He was a native of St. Louis, Missouri and was a retired truck driver with
Active Transportation Company. He had been a member of the Teamsters and
the Harley Owners Group for many years and was also an Army Viet Nam
veteran. He also was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association
(AQHA) and the American Paint Horse Association (APHA).
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Bounds of Shelbyville, Kentucky;
daughters, Nikkie Bounds of St. Louis, Missouri and Taryn Ostrom of
Shelbyville, Kentucky; sons, Ryan Bounds of Shelbyville and Raymond Ostrom
of Louisville, Kentucky; sister, Diane Bounds of St. Louis, Missouri;
father-in-law, Jerry Brown of Shelbyville, Kentucky; other relatives and
friends.
Memorial service was at the Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville, Kentucky,
with Rev. Jerry Shelley officiating.
Arrangements under the direction of the Shannon Funeral Home,
Shelbyville, Kentucky.
Floyd M. Cuneio
Floyd M. Cuneio of Sullivan, Missouri was one of a set of twins born
August 2, 1927 to Emery S. and Velma L. (Tyree) Cuneio at Elmont, Missouri
and passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the age of 82 years.
On August 20, 1949 he was united in marriage to Mary Jean Osborn and to
this union four children were born.
Floyd honorably served his country in the United States Army from
May 8, 1946 until May 10, 1947.
Floyd was employed by Paramount Cap Factory in Bourbon for 19 years, by
First Assembly of God as church custodian and bus driver. He also drove a
Sullivan C-2 school bus for 21 years. After retirement he continued to
enjoy cutting wood, Cardinal baseball and quail hunting. He was a long
time and faithful member of Sullivan First Assembly of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Velma Cuneio; a great
granddaughter, Shelby Tutterrow; one brother, Russell Cuneio and one sister,
Virginia Allen.
He is survived by his wife, Jean of Sullivan, Missouri; three sons,
Rev. Jerry Cuneio and wife Mary of Vulcan, Missouri, Larry Cuneio and wife
Kay, and Dean Cuneio and wife Linda, all of Sullivan, Missouri; one daughter,
Dianne Ruble and husband Randy of Cuba, Missouri; nine grandchildren,
Michael Cuneio and friend Adrienne Grillo, Daniel Cuneio and wife, Andrea,
Amber Cuneio, Dana Tutterrow and husband Stacy, Doug Cuneio and wife Amy,
Zackary Ruble and wife, Heather, Derik Ruble and wife, Sarah, D.J. and Ryan
Cuneio; five great grandchildren, Jordan, Zoe, and Mia Cuneio and Ian and
Sydney Tutterrow; a twin brother, Lloyd Cuneio of St. James, Missouri; three
sisters, Verna Carter and Frances Landing, both of Sullivan, Missouri and
Anna Belle Bailey and husband George of Bourbon, Missouri; brothers and
sisters-in-law, Roscoe and Elva Tyree of Sullivan, Missouri, Erma Schmidt
of Rocky Mount, Missouri, and Marion and Delliah Osborn of Cuba, Missouri;
other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from
First Assembly of God in Sullivan with Pastor Jerry Cuneio and Pastor Kyle
Phillips officiating.
Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Missouri.
Helen V. Emert
Helen V. Emert of Bourbon, Missouri was born Friday, March 30, 1923 at
Florissant, Missouri to John and Emma (nee Gronemeier) Oth and passed away
Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 87 years,
3 months and 30 days.
In 1947 Helen was united in marriage to Edward Gotthardt and to this union
one daughter was born. In 1974 Helen was united in marriage to Richard
Emert in Bridgeton, Missouri.
Helen lived a very full and active life. She worked at Emerson Electric
in the 1940’s and 50’s. Then a corporate warehouse, followed by a printing
company located on Broadway in St. Louis before becoming a bartender. She
tended bar in Florissant and St. Charles for many years before retiring in
1981 when they moved to Lesterville, Missouri. She returned to work after
moving and worked for the Peola Valley Pottery for several years. After
Richard passed away she moved to Bourbon in the late 1990’s.
In her spare time she enjoyed taking care of her yard were she grew
beautiful flowers. She always enjoyed reading but what she enjoyed most was
when the entire family came to her house for a visit and barbeque.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma Oth; two husbands,
Edward Gotthardt and Richard Emert; other relatives and friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Bacon of Bourbon, Missouri; three
grandchildren, George and wife Tammy Bacon, Jr. of Leasburg, Missouri,
Gerald and wife Jamie Bacon of Sullivan, Missouri and Kim and husband
Stephen Bennick of Cuba, Missouri; 10 great grandchildren, Darian,
Christopher, Michael, Katelynn, Skyler, Chloee, Cole, Bailee, Linkan and
Reese; two brothers, Robert and wife Harriet Oth of Warrenton, Missouri and
Roy and wife Bobbie Oth of Fort Pierce, Florida; other relatives and
friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Frank J. Hagler
Frank J. Hagler of Farmington formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born to
Lonnie W. and Erra (Asbridge) Hagler on May 11, 1919 in Salem, Missouri
and passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 in Farmington, Missouri at the
age of 91 years.
Frank was united in marriage to Gretchen Kopp on December 7, 1941 and to
this union two sons were born.
Frank was the former owner/operator of Sealtite Company in St. Louis,
Missouri and Cuba Lanes in Cuba, Missouri. He was a member of Cuba United
Methodist Church and the Indian Hills Men’s Club. In his spare time he
enjoyed fishing, boating, playing cards and board games.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Erra Hagler; wife,
Gretchen; two brothers, Paul Hagler, Sr. and Jack Hagler; two sisters,
Daisy Bonebrake and Eloise; other relatives and friends.
He is survived by two sons, John Hagler of Farmington, Missouri and Bill
and wife Pat Hagler of Farmington, Missouri; one brother, Bobby Mark Hagler
of St. Louis, Missouri; three grandchildren, Dylan, Mallory and Krista;
four great grandchildren, Leah, Camille, Mara and Avery; other relatives
and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 9 a.m. until time of
funeral service at 11 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri with
Pastor Paul Lathum, officiating.
Interment followed at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

Stanley Seidl passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the age of 62 years.

Norman Raymond Weigel
Norman R. Weigel of Cuba, Missouri was born Tuesday, August 11, 1942 at
St. Louis, Missouri to John Rosebury and Virginia (nee Novak) Weigel and
passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of
67 years, 11 months and 16 days.
Norman was united in marriage to Demetra Pigg at St. Louis, Missouri on
July 2, 1981.
Norman retired in 1987 from General Motors after 21 years of dedicated
service. He grew up in Cuba and then moved to St. Louis were he lived for
many years before moving back to Cuba 23 years ago.
You could always find Norman at “Voss” every morning and sometimes several
times a day enjoying a hot cup of black coffee. In his younger years he
enjoyed working on cars, fishing and hunting. But what he always enjoyed
most was spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Virginia Weigel; infant
son, John Wesley Weigel; brothers, Johnny and Bobby Weigel; other relatives
and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Demetra of the home; children, Gloria and
husband Larry Lewis of Licking, Missouri, Jo Ann and husband Allen Robinson
of St. James, Missouri, Cynthia Brandt of Fenton, Missouri, Norman Jr. and
wife Jana Weigel of New Haven, Missouri, Demetra and husband Ronny Bugg of
Mulberry, Arkansas; brother Bernard and wife Juanita Weigel of Tennessee;
sister, Mary and husband Ralph Weber of Cuba, Missouri; 18 grandchildren
other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday July 29, 2010 at the Britton
Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Britton
Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. Special music was “Go Rest High on that
Mountain” and “Will the Circle Be Unbroken.”
Pallbearers were Norman Weigel III, Michael Weigel, Monty Turner, Jr.,
Brian Robinson, Allen Robinson and Ronny Bugg.
Interment and prayers followed at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

Virginia Willhite
Virginia Willhite was born January 28, 1929 in Howes Mill, Missouri to
Virgil and Pearl (Sullivan) Cottrell and passed away July 20, 2010 in
St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 81 years, 5 months and 23 days.
On May 16, 1947 Virginia was united in marriage to Lowell Willhite and
to their union two children were born.
Virginia was a long time member of the Viburnum Freewill Baptist Church,
where, as long as her health permitted, was actively involved in church
activities. The greatest love of her life was her family, and spending
time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Pearl Cottrell; her
husband, Lowell in December 4, 2001; four brothers, Norman, Dorman and
Donald Cottrell and an infant brother, Larry Cottrell.
She is survived by her children, Michael Willhite and wife, Kathy, of
St. Louis, Missouri and Brenda Lenderman of Paragound, Arkansas; one
sister, Suzanne Lawson of Steelville, Missouri; grandchildren, Timothy
Willhite and wife Beth, Aaron Willhite, Adam Willhite, Roger Glenn Lenderman
and wife Natalie, Brooke Lenderman, Kevin Helldorfer and wife Carrie;
Jessica Helldorfer; great grandchildren, Corinne Willhite, Claire Willhite
and Lydia Helldorfer; other relatives and friends.
There was a visitation at the church from 11 a.m. until time of service
at 1 p.m. There was also a visitation for family and friends at the
Salem Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary on Friday, July 23, 2010 from
6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the
Freewill Baptist Church, Viburnum, Missouri. Interment was in the Old
Dillard Cemetery, Dillard, Missouri.

Martha Caroline Martin-Wright
Martha Caroline Martin-Wright, nee Setzer, of Steelville, Missouri was
born December 15, 1919 in Viburnum, Missouri to Newton Wesley and Ida
Angeline (Baker) Setzer and passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Gibbs
Care Center in Steelville, Missouri at the age of 90 years.
She married Fred Martin and to this union three children Stanley, Ruby
and Charlotte were born. Later in 1954, she married Wayne Wright and one
son, Joe, was born. He preceded her in death in 1985.
Martha was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cherryville for many
years. In her spare time, she loved to play music on the guitar, mandolin
and the banjo. She also enjoyed reading and making quilts.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Newton and Ida Setzer; her
husband, Wayne; five brothers, Howard Setzer and wife Nina, Ray Setzer
and wife Freda, Floyd Setzer and wife Ovie, Dellian Setzer and wife Erma
and Paul Setzer; four sisters, Mabel Setzer, Margaret Howdeshell and
husbands, Dwight Howdeshell and Lloyd Cooksey; Mildred Hogan and husband
Harry and Mandy Halbert and husband Carl and one grandson, Kelly Brand.
She is survived by her two sons, Stanley Martin and wife Velma and Joe
Wright and wife Lola, all of Steelville, Missouri; two daughters, Ruby
Bouse and husband Tom of Cuba, Missouri and Charlotte Brand of Steelville,
Missouri; one sister, Mary Conaway of Herculaneum, Missouri; 10 grand-
children; 23 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; other
relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the Britton-
Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the
Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Jeff Wilson
officiating. Special music of “How Great Thou Art,” “In the Garden” and
“Amazing Grace” was sung by Brad Bouse, Madison Bouse, Sandra Wilson,
Adams Wilson and Brittany Wilson with accompaniment by Joyce Bouse on
piano. Memories were shared by granddaughters, Sandra Wilson, Vicky Taff
and Phyllis Conaway.
Committal prayer and burial were in the Cherryville Baptist Cemetery at
Cherryville, Missouri.
Casket bearers were Kyle Brand, Kenton Brand, Kerry Brand, Tom Bouse, Jr.,
Brad Bouse, Rick Martin, Carl Baker and J.W. Wright.

Steelville, Missouri.
Corrine J. Zulpo
Corrine J. Zulpo was born June 9, 1921 in Rosati, Missouri to Emilio Donati
and Francesca (Amedei) Donati, and entered into rest Monday, July 26, 2010
in Cuba, Missouri.
She celebrated 64 years of marriage to Joe Zulpo on July 13.
Survivors include her husband, Joe, of the home; two sons, Joseph of
Rosati, Missouri and Steven of Chesterfield, Missouri; one grandson, Matt;
one great granddaughter, Mariah, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by two sisters, Concetta “Chetty” Pardee and Bruna
Marie Cuccarollo.
Corrine was preceded in death by one son, Marion; two brothers, Louis and
Mike Donati, and three sisters, Sr. Anita Donati, Delphine Krewson and
Lena Marchi.
She was a homemaker, and enjoyed making bread and other Italian dishes,
crocheting and helping to raise and harvest grapes on the family farm.
Corrine was a life long member of St. Anthony Church in Rosati and was a
member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies’ Auxiliary. She also worked at
the polls for many years as an Election Judge.
Visitation was held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at James and
Gahr Mortuary in St. James with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral services
were held Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Church in
Rosati with Fr. Charles Pardee officiating.
Burial followed at St. Anthony Cemetery in Rosati.
Arrangements under the direction of the James & Gahr Mortuary of St. James,
Missouri.
