Visitation was held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Sullivan Christian Church in Sullivan, Missouri. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Sullivan Christian Church with Pastor Jeff Bent officiating. Burial followed in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery. Nina Day Nina Day of Farmington, Missouri, formerly of Bixby, Missouri, was born June 19, 1920 in rural Crawford County, Missouri to Denny and Effie (Callahan) Sellers and passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 age of 95 years. Nina grew up in the Viburnum, Missouri area and attended school there. On July 5, 1939 at Salem, Missouri she was united in marriage to Roman Day. Nina and Roman made their home in and around the Flat River, Missouri area for many years where they raised their family. They then moved to Bixby, Missouri where they remained for 30 years. In 2005 they moved to Iron Mountain, Missouri to be closer to family and friends. She was a faithful member of the Iron Mountain Assembly of God Church. In her spare time she enjoyed tending her flower gardens and, before poor health prevented her from doing it, she enjoyed coon hunting with Roman and her grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Denny and Effie Sellers; son, Alvalee Day; five brothers, Jesse Sellers, Herman Sellers, Willard Sellers, Johnny Sellers and Clyde Sellers; and two sisters, Wilma Abrams and Gladyn Day. She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Roman Day of Farmington, Missouri; son, Dwight (Rosemary) Day of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Diana (Ronnie) Baker of Ironton, Missouri and Marcella Hughes of Roswell, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Diane Day of Medical Lake, Washington; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Homer Sellers of Steelville, Missouri; two sisters, Daphene Potter of Steelville, Missouri and Gladys Terry of Mt. On October 11, 1958 at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Brinktown, Missouri she married Norman Feeler. Jo Ann and Norman being married almost 60 years had a special bond. Jo Ann worked beside her husband on the farm and the family business. Gargus Bertha S. Gargus was born February 11, 1942 in Des Peres, Missouri to Ernest and Bonnie (Cassairt) Hess and passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the age of 73 years. Bertha married Robert Gargus on May 10, 1958 in Pleasant Ridge, Missouri. Bertha was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Bourbon, Missouri. She was a Chaplin for American Legion Post 81 of Bourbon, Missouri. She was active in the church along with TOPS # 987 in Cuba, Cuba. Bertha was a local member of a Stampin' Up card club. She was known for baking the best peach cobbler, breads and buns. Bertha was an avid deer hunter and great fish gigger. Bertha enjoyed traveling and seeing the Colorado Mountains. She enjoyed Buddy the dog. She was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Bunton of Sullivan, Missouri. Rose Marie Limberg Rose Marie Limberg of Owensville, Missouri was born in Bay, Missouri on February 24, 1939 to Robert and Ethel (Branson) Burns and passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the age of 76 years. On July 26 1958, in Hermann she was united in marriage to John A. Limberg. She attended Pin Oak Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling, Missouri. She was preceded in death by a son, Elvin Limberg; daughters, Carol Miller and Vickie Combs; twin brother, Robert Burns; and sister, Dorothy Burns. She is survived by her children, Flint Limberg of Lamar, Missouri, Ronnie Limberg of Bourbon, Missouri and Sheila Christopher of Texas; 10 grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Leota Maxine Mitchell Leota Maxine Mitchell of Licking, Missouri was born in Roby, Missouri on March 25, 1926 to Jess and Minnie (Biram) Jeffries and passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015, at the age of 89 years. Leota married Junior Walker and to this union two daughters were born. She later married Howard Blankenship and to this union one son was born. Howard and Leota and the children shared many wonderful memories together before Howard passed away March 2, 1968. Leota later married Ted Mitchell who shared her love for hunting and fishing. They had many wonderful years together until he passed away in July of 1988. Leota graduated from Licking High School on May 6, 1943 and began teaching at the Ellsworth School, in a one-room schoolhouse in rural Texas County. Leota later worked and retired from Rawlings. She had a gift for quilting and blessed her family with many beautiful quilts. Leota attended the Licking Christian Church. Charles William Peacock Charles William Peacock was born December 26, 1953 in Sullivan, Missouri to Robert Peacock and Ethel West Peacock and passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the age of 61 years. Charles graduated from Berkeley High School in 1972. He served his country in the United States Navy. On March 19, 1982, Charles was united in marriage to Jane Becker in Sullivan, Missouri. They made their home in Union, Missouri since 2002. He worked for many years as a contract laborer/supervisor for Wellington Environmental in St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert "Bobby" Peacock. (Roberts) Rush and passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the age of 66 years. On August 7, 1971 he married Linda Joyce Spencer and they were later blessed with two children. Danny was a member of the West Alton Church of God. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Rush. George Adolph Talbert George Adolph Talbert of St. James, Missouri was born on October 12, 1923 in Cook Station, Missouri to William Alpheus and Anna (Pitts) Talbert and passed away peacefully Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the age of 91 years. He was united in marriage on October 24, 1951 to the Loretta Irene McWilliams and this union seven children were born. George was a carpenter by trade and worked for many years for Sbabo Construction, they built several subdivision homes in and around the St. James, Missouri area. Being from the beautiful Ozarks, George learned early in life all about the joys of hunting and fishing, and he enjoyed both. He also enjoyed working the farm and the joys of having a big beautiful garden each year that gave him bountiful vegetables to share with family and friends. What they didn't use or share Loretta would can so that their family could enjoy his harvest during the long winter months ahead. He loved spending time with family over a nice meal or maybe just of cup of coffee. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Talbert; sons, Roger, Ronald and Ross Talbert; daughter, Donna Talbert; brother, Al Talbert; sisters, Juanita Thorn, Thelma Tabor and Viola McEwen. He is survived by his wife, Loretta of the home; sons, Wayne Talbert of St. James, Missouri and Jimmy Talbert of St. James, Missouri; daughter, Darla Talbert of St. James, Missouri; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Katherine Marie Warner Katherine Marie (Snoza) Warner was born August 15, 1945 and passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the age of 69 years. Kathy was an inspiration to al who met her. She battled diabetes most of her life but she didn't let it get her down. She taught and worked with disabled children. She made beautiful crafts she sold on-line and shipped all over the United States. She loved history, traveling, going to the movies and casino and tutoring. She married Raymond H. Warner on March 4, 1971. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three children, Katherine Marie, Lois and Simi. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Raymond H. Warner of Colorado; children, Jessie and wife Karen, Toni, Raymond R. and Pam and families; aunts, Carol (Henry) Breslich of Cuba, Missouri and Myra Henry of Steelville, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Kathy chose cremation and her remains to be placed in the VA Cemetery in Colorado. Matthew Ray Wood Matthew Ray Wood was born July 7, 1980 at Farmington, Missouri to Alva Ray and Penny (Welch) Wood and passed away July 26, 2015 at Salem, Missouri at the age of 35 years. Matthew was a member of Crossville Baptist Church. He enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, hunting and camping. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pauline Wood Pruitt, John Pruitt, William Franklin Wood, Avis Welch Eaves, David Eaves; and brother, Jonathan Ray Wood.
