MO Local Obituaries for the Week of August 6, 2014 Clifford Paul Boulch, Jr. Clifford Paul Boulch, Jr. was born in St. Louis, Missouri, January 1, 1942 and passed away May 30, 2014 at age 72 years. He was the oldest of seven children. Cliff was raised in Steelville, Missouri and graduated from Steelville High School in 1960. He enlisted and served in the Air Force as an Avionics Technician serving in Japan. After active duty, he continued his military career in the Missouri Air National Guards' 131st fighter wing. Retiring from the military, he created Boulch Electric in St. Peters, Missouri. The family moved to Alaska in 1988, where he worked as an Electrician for the FAA in Anchorage Alaska until his retirement in 2012. He was first to lend a hand or a tool and share his knowledge. He was a seasoned world traveler and enjoyed spending time with his siblings and sharing stories of his adventures. He studied genealogy, enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together, was an avid militaria collector, supported the NRA, liked fishing, the outdoors, and ballet, soccer and track, as long as his granddaughters were doing it. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Gloria; grandparents, William and Cora (Turnbough) Ratley; brother, Gary and wife Barbara; and son, Allen. He is survived by his wife Kathleen; five sisters, Pam, Sandy, Bobbie, JoAnn and Debbie; his children, William and Louise; son-in-law, Jack; his aunt, LaVerne McQuillan; his grandchildren, Paige, Emma and Nicholas. A celebration of Cliffs' life was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Anchorage, Alaska. Funeral services were held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri LaMoine Hamilton LaMoine (Black) Hamilton of St. James, Missouri was born September 13, 1939 in Richland, Missouri to James Robert Black and Augusta "Gussie" Katherin (Howlett) and passed away July 29, at the age of 74 years. LaMoine grew up on the Black family farm in Swedeborg, Missouri. She married Edward Hamilton on June 5, 1966 from Crocker, Missouri. She is a graduate of Richland High School, Southwest Baptist University, Oklahoma Baptist University, Baylor University, and Southwest Missouri State University, obtaining masters degrees in psychology and education. A schoolteacher for 30 years, she taught various grades and subjects in Willow Springs, Dixon and Houston school systems. She continued substitute teaching following retirement and most recently substituted in April of 2014. In 1989, LaMoine was recognized by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as the top Incentive Grant Writer in the state of Missouri. In 1990, LaMoine received the Achievement in Education Award from Optimist International and in 2000 she was a Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year. Since 2005, she served the Missouri Baptist Children's Home (MBCH). From 2005 to 2011 she served on the Board of Trustees, was also a member of the MBCH affiliate board, MBCH Children and Family Ministries, from 2008 to present, and in 2009, she was named Ambassador of the Year. Previous memberships include the Retired Missouri State Teachers Association, Missouri State Teachers Association, International Reading Association, Delta Kappa Gamma and the Houston Title I Parent/Teacher advisory board. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Augusta Black; and grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Edward of St. James, Missouri; son, Doug (Tracy) of Shawnee, Kansas; son, Phil (Cassandra) of St. James, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Paige, Allison, Spencer and Trey of Shawnee, Kansas and Colton, Ciera and Carly of St. James, Missouri; siblings, LaGayle Horinbein (Howard) of Lake Forest, California, Linda Shady (Pepper) of Lake Winnebago, Missouri, JR Black (Nina) of Richland, Missouri and Sandra Gibson (L.E.) of Richland, Missouri; sister-in-law, Sharon Kappelman of Jefferson City, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at Ozark Baptist Church in Houston, Missouri on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Kenny Qualls officiating and visitation occurring prior to the service at the church, starting at 10 a.m. Interment was in the Crocker Cemetery. Services under the direction of the Evans Funeral Home in Houston, Missouri. Eileen H. Harman Eileen H. Harman of St. Louis, Missouri was born on July 23, 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri Jewel and Margaret (Smith) Harman and passed away June 28, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Throughout her life Eileen was very involved with the Arts, she was especially involved in the Ice Capades, a traveling entertainment show featuring theatrical performances involving ice skating. Shows often featured former Olympic and National Champion figure skaters who had retired from amateur competition, this allowed Eileen to meet a wide variety of people. It was through that venue that she met Scott Hamilton who she remained close friends with for many years. She also enjoyed travel, one of her favorite places was Las Vegas, Nevada. Once while there she was in an elevator with Frank Sinatra. Eileen worked for the City of St. Louis in the Municipal Department for many years; she was also a longtime member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. Eileen never married so she doted on her four nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewel and Margaret Harman; sister, Margie Pisciotta; and brothers, Harry and Irvin Harman. She is survived by her nieces, Margene Betts and husband Steve, Clara Roark and husband Ralph, Leslie Flegel and husband Jay and Patty Harman; nephew, Randy Harman and wife Pat; other relatives and friends. A memorial service to celebrate her life was Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church on Chippewa with Pastor Michael Tanney officiating.
