On November 24, 1960 she married John William Bridges. Edna was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and knitting. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Nettie Sisco; husband John on February 17, 2018; two infant brothers; one infant sister; six adult sisters; and one great granddaughter. She is survived by five daughters, Evelyn "Bunny" McGowan and husband Steve of Versailles, Missouri, JoAnn C. Light of Rolla, Missouri, Johnnie "Winnie" Parker and husband Charlie of St. James, Missouri, Valerie Potter of Rolla, Missouri and Petula "Petey" Cargill and husband Brett of Leslie, Missouri; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one expected; other relatives and friends. Edith Louise Burnett Edith Louise Burnett of Bourbon, Missouri was born on February 5, 1932 in Leasburg, Missouri to Walter H. and Viola (Hamlin) Richters and passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at the age of 87 years. She lived her early years in Steelville, Missouri, before moving to their home in the Forest Hill area. Edith graduated from Bourbon High School in 1950 and worked at the Bank of Bourbon. Edith married Melvin Erni Burnett in June 1951. They lived their entire life on their farm in Bourbon, Missouri and were married 60 years when Melvin passed away. Edith worked as a bookkeeper in the office of the local Chrysler car dealership until her retirement. However, her passion was her work and affiliation with the Order of Eastern Star, of which she was a 50-year member. She began her progression in the Sullivan Chapter and was elevated thru Missouri Grand Chapter becoming Worthy Grand Matron of the state of Missouri in 1986. Edith loved her home and farm and liked naming the calves. She helped in many ways with the farm operations. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Erni Burnett; two sons, Thomas A. Burnett and Richard I. Burnett; parents, Walter and Viola Richters; one sister, Carole Sue Bandy; and one son-in-law, Gary L. Cunningham. Gary Lee Callahan Gary Lee Callahan of Viburnum, Missouri, formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born Saturday, December 14, 1953 at Steelville, Missouri to Marvin and Ruth (nee Barton) Callahan and passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the age of 65 years. In his younger years Gary worked for Pepsi, Cupples Manufacturing, the St. Louis Board of Education in the maintenance department and he did street ministries; passing out tracks. At one point in his life he owned and operator a handyman business. Gary enjoyed the spring and summer when he could plant flowers. He was an avid reader, great admirer of cats and he walked everywhere he went. He would tell anyone, who would listen, about the Lord, his daughter and grandchildren. Gary loved all the Bible Prophecies. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Ruth Callahan; two sisters, Joyce Baker and Barbara Callahan; and one niece, Karen Warren. Donald Leigh Givens Donald Leigh Givens of Salem, Missouri was born on March 11, 1949 to Robert Paul and Della Mae (Aldrich) Givens and passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at the age of 70 years. Donald attended school at Drummond Montana High School. He was a member of Lions Club of Salem, Missouri and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Della Givens; a lifelong companion, Shirley Mae Mach; and one brother, George Givens. Connie "Joanne" Hubbs Connie "Joanne" Hubbs of Boss, Missouri was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 24, 1939 to Alan and Margaret (Meade) Sullivan and passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Joanne lived in Boss, Missouri most of her life. When her father left when she was a child, her mother re-married Clyde Camden. This is who Joanne called dad. After leaving home Joanne worked in Salem, Missouri for several clothing factories, including, Hagales and International Shoe. She also worked for Amex Lead Company and Bailey Genco. She collected postcards and loved bluegrass music. She loved to crack walnuts and cook. In her later years she loved watching Brad's cattle and visiting with company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Margaret Camden; son, Gregory Lee Hubbs; and nephew, Kevin Sullivan. Ryan Moreland Ryan Moreland of Rolla, Missouri was born January 25, 1991 in Rolla, Missouri to Michael and Karen Moreland and passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the age of 28 years ,6 months and 6 days. On September 23, 2011 he married Jodie Emory at Salem, Missouri. Ryan graduated high school in St. James, Missouri and then went on to welding school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He loved to weld. He and his wife Jodie moved back to Salem, Missouri after he got through welding school and he pursued his love of welding. Later he worked at MFA Plant in Salem and was currently working for Pratts Lawn and Garden in Rolla, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Woody Aytes; and uncle, Jeff Aytes. Bobby "Bob" Gene Santhuff Bobby "Bob" Gene Santhuff of Steelville, Missouri was born December 14, 1930, in Redford, Missouri to Jesse L. and Mary M. Goodson Santhuff and passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the age of 88 years, 7 months and 18 days. Bob married Lelah Fowler on October 14, 1950. Bob served his country in the Korean War Conflict from 1951-1953 as a member of the 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team, also known as the "Rakkasans." He loved his country and was very proud to be a U.S. Army veteran. Bob was a born-again Christian and a Deacon of Victory Baptist Church. He served his Lord faithfully his entire life. He had a very long and successful career in the shoe heel industry as both a plant manager and later as a factory owner. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. He also enjoyed stock car racing, working on his farm, restoring tractors and automobiles, bluegrass music, and watching his granddaughters participate in all of their sports activities. Hewas preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mary Santhuff; father and mother in-law, John and Ruby Fowler; brother, Bill Santhuff; sisters, Shirley (Lyman) Monroe, Lori Lee Anderson, and Barbara Santhuff Kosa; brothers-in-law, Ron Bouse, Arthur Hartrup, Ernest Sullivan, Lee Roy (Anna Ruth) Fowler; and nephews, Randy Sullivan and Kirk Monroe. Noel Emery Vieten Noel Emery Vieten of Leslie, Missouri, was born on October 26, 1940 in Leslie, Missouri to Emery and Hazel (Bell) Vieten and passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the age of 78 years. He was born on his family's farm, where he was raised and continued to live until his passing. Noel attended school in Spring Bluff and Sullivan, Missouri graduating High School in 1958. He was very involved in Franklin County 4-H during his youth and continued to serve in many areas of their program, including participating on the judging team. Noel purchased his first tractor when he was in the eighth grade and paid for it himself. He attended and graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia where he met Mary Bruns. They dated through college and on a very hot day in 1962, graduated together. Noel with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture and Mary with a Teaching Degree. Noel and Mary were united in marriage on May 12, 1962. Noel continued working in the family Dairy business until 1999, when he moved on to Beef cattle. Noel attended and was a long-time member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Leslie. He was an active member of the Farm Bureau for 49 years, the Guernsey Breeders Association, Awarded State Farmer in FFA, served on the Dairy Judging team for FFA and Missouri University and awarded Franklin County Farm Family of the year in 1971. He and his family attended and showed cows in many county fairs in the area, including Cuba, Washington, Sullivan, New Haven, Springfield and the Sedalia State Fair. He enjoyed traveling to farm conventions and vacationing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Hazel Vieten; and two brothers-in-law, John Campbell and Cordell Bruns. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Bruns) Vieten of Leslie, Missouri; three sons: David Vieten and wife Shelly of Sullivan, Missouri, Benjamin Vieten of Leslie, Missouri and John Vieten (Beth Bailey) of Leslie, Missouri; three step-grandchildren, Jennifer Moreland and husband Joe of Cuba, Missouri, Chloe Griffith of Columbia, Missouri and Calie Griffith of Sullivan, Missouri; two step-great-grandchildren, Lexi and Aiden Moreland; two sisters, Eunice Campbell of Columbia, Missouri and Dolores Bell Williams and husband Charles of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
