Stanley James Perschbacher Stanley James Perschbacher was born February 6, 1941, in Leasburg, Missouri to Howard and Barbara Benskin Perschbacher and passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 25 days. He was born and raised in Leasburg, Missouri and was a member of the volunteer fire department. He was employed by the Chrysler Corporation for almost 30 years. He was very involved in the United Auto Workers. He liked sports of all kinds and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. He was steadfast in his convictions. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Barbara Perschbacher; a brother, Roland Perschbacher; and two sisters, Jerry Britton, and Lorraine Bryan. Michael was the eldest of two sons and grew up and attended school in Steelville, Missouri. He accepted Christ as his Savior and attended The First Assembly of God Church in Steelville. He was a Real Estate Agent/Broker working with Hardecke Real Estate in Steelville, for many years. He also served as Alderman on the City Council for a number of years. He is preceded in death by his father, D. Eugene Pounds. Benjamin Horton Benjamin Horton Randall of Aledo, Illinois (formerly of Steelville, Missouri) was born on April 16, 1930 in Corry, Pennsylvania to Harold McIntyre and Beula (Brooks) Randall and passed away August 4, 2017 at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 21 days. He married Ruth Anna Board on September 2, 1949. He married Donna Lea Jones on May 13, 1977. Ben moved to Illinois in 1947 as a farmhand. He turned his love of farming into his profession, raising livestock and grain in Suez Township for almost 40 years. He was an avid horseman, a commercial pilot, and enjoyed giving flying lessons. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dirk; and his second wife, Donna on April 24, 2010. Nina Bell Lumley Skaggs Nina Bell Lumley Skaggs of Cuba, Missouri was born Saturday, July 16, 1927 at Cherryville, Missouri to Jesse and Bessie (nee Harris) Wilkinson and passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Nina married Elmer Lumley on February 17, 1945 at St. Louis, Missouri. Elmer passed away November 1973. Nina then married Rev. Herman Skaggs on February 7, 1981. Nina spent hours talking on the phone, or as some would say, getting and telling the current events of what was going on in everyone else's life. In her younger years, Nina was an excellent cook, seamstress, loved to travel and go fishing. She loved the Lord and throughout her life she attended numerous churches. Nina played the piano and sang every time she was at church. In June 2015 Nina had to go to Cuba Manor. Vitali of Cuba, Missouri was born Wednesday, April 19, 1933 at Desloge, Missouri to Walter Hayes and Edna Pearl (nee Roberts) Bridgewater and passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Peggy married James Vitali on November 3, 1951 at Holy Cross Catholic Church of Cuba, Missouri. Peggy was a lifetime member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church and was a Franciscan for many years. "Franciscans continue to share the good news of God's love in ways that they hope will inspire people of our time." She graduated from Cuba High School in 1951. Peggy worked at a few places but her greatest job was being a wife, mom and grandma. Her family enjoyed Peggy's homemade pies and bread. She would spend days sewing clothing for her children and she made many crocheted items for her family and friends. When their children were younger, they spent many weekends camping. After the children were grown, Peggy and Jim enjoyed going to Branson and traveling. In her spare time, she was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Edna Bridgewater; sister, Judy Bruns; and daughter-in-law, Kathie Vitali. He graduated from Belle High School in 1960. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired as a service technician for United Telephone Co. and became an avid Cardinal baseball fan.
