She was united in marriage to Ronald D. Ballance in Arvada, Colorado on February 21, 1970. Joyce Ballance was a teacher and loved her job and the children whom she taught. Lindsay Clotilda Estelle Carr-Orr Grouns Lindsay Clotilda Estelle Carr-Orr Grouns of Rolla, Missouri was born in Palm Springs, California on May 26, 1996 passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the age of 23 years. She was a prayer answered for her parents, William and Jill (Winterbottom) Orr, when they were blessed with the little girl they had prayed for on September 6, 2003. Lindsay graduated from Francis Howell Central High School. She later moved to Rolla, Missouri. On August 25, 2018 she married Rodney Grouns and to this union a daughter, Abriella Grouns. This baby girl is a shining gift from God. She loved singing to her, snuggling and cuddle time "all the time." She was a caretaker at heart, both the elderly and children loved her. She had a great heart and spirit. She was employed at Applebee's as a server/bartender. She had a passion for life and for her family. She enjoyed dancing and was always the life of the party. Judy was an avid walker, enjoyed the outdoors and loved to cross-stitch. Janice JoAn Jean Janice JoAn Jean (nee Tibbit) of Steelville, Missouri was born on Sunday, May 30, 1937 in Goose Creek, Texas, which later became Baytown, Texas to Sylvester Copeland and Eddith Elizabeth Covington Tibbit and passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 11 days. Janice accepted the Lord early in life. She spent most of her childhood (from fourth grade on) in Leesville, Louisiana, where she met Andrew Livadas. Her very first job was as a carhop at a drive-in restaurant in Leesville. After graduating from Leesville High School she worked as a phone operator in Ft. Worth, Texas, where she met her future husband, Billy Morris Jean, who was in the Air Force at that time. Two weeks after meeting they married in Durant, Okalahoma on February 27, 1959. Later they moved to Augsbug, Germany, where her husband was stationed for two years in the Army. In Germany they adopted an infant son, Timothy. They owned a restaurant, "Chicken on the Run" in Gatesville, Texas, and two taverns in Belton, Texas. After her husband's retirement from the military they moved to Waco, Texas where she was a financial counselor for Hillcrest Hospital until she retired. Janice and Billy were married 42 years (until his death). She moved to Steelville, Missouri in 2009. She was a member of Straightway Baptist Church. In 2014 she moved to California to be reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Andy. She lived there until her accident and came back to Missouri to be with her family. She loved to sew and sewed all of her daughter's clothing as she grew up. She enjoyed ceramics and painting. Clinton grew up in St. James, Missouri, where he attended school from elementary through high school. In high school he was very athletic, he worked hard at all sports and lettered in basketball, football, and cross country, with basketball being his favorite. After he graduated in 2011, Clinton attended East Central College. He worked hard academically and was proud to have been on the dean's list while attending ECC. Clinton left college and joined the United States Marine Corp. He still enjoyed playing basketball. Shirley married Walter McIntosh. Shirley worked for several different manufacturing companies throughout her working career. She started at Convey Heel, then B&K Manufacturing for 15 years, then to Cuba Shoe Factory and she retired in 2008, after 15 years of dedicated service from Paramount. She truly enjoyed gardening and canning every year. Her flowers and lawn were always the most beautiful on the road. She spent hours crocheting afghans for her family and friends. During the winter months, Shirley worked crossword puzzles and played sudoku. She was famous for her roast, Thanksgiving dressing and her pies. Shirley was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and she watched every game. Her bird feeders were always full for the birds so that she could spend hours watching them. George "Bennie" Melvin Wilkinson George "Bennie" Melvin Wilkinson of Sullivan, Missouri was born on December 16, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to Roy J. and Margaret I. (Ellis) Wilkinson and passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the age of 78 years. His family moved to the Arnold, Missouri area, which is where he attended school. In 1959 the Wilkinson family made their home in Sullivan, Missouri. Bennie honorably served his country in the United States Navy from November 1963 to October 1967. He married Judith Ann Blanton on July 25, 1964. Bennie and Judy recently celebrated 55 years of marriage together. Bennie was employed by General Motors from 1959 to 1987. He was able to take an early retirement and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bennie also liked going to the casino and enjoyed watching game shows. He had a quick wit and great one liners. Bennie was of the Catholic Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Margaret Wilkinson; three brothers, Joseph, Robert and William "Gerry" Wilkinson; and one sister, Mary Coleman.
