(nee Anderson) Pyatt and passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the age of 87 years. She was united in marriage to Homer W. Galt on November 20, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was one to care about friends, always keeping touch with the many here in Missouri. She loved her family, loved all children as her own. She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Galt; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Esco Pyatt and wife Eula, Otto Pyatt and wife Martha, Lushen Pyatt and wife Alice and John Pyatt; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Della Dicus and husband Ray, Mahaley Tidwell and husband John, Irene Bryant and husband Willie and Mary Dotson and husband William. She is survived by her husband of 58 years of Whittier, California; four grandchildren, Ravina Engler and husband Don, Tamora Galt, Kurt Galt and Conan Galt; one brother, Noah Pyatt and wife Juanita of Cherryville, Missouri and five great grandchildren. Funeral service was held Saturday, August 18, 2007 in the Center Ridge Pentecostal Church in Davisville, Missouri with Pastor Harrison Brown and Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of “Come Spring” and “Some Call it Heaven” were sung by Phyllis Gibbs and “In the Sweet By and By” was sung by Joan Bosnia with Shirley Brown accompanying. Memories of grandmother were read by Conan Galt and a eulogy was given by Peggy Names. A closing medley of songs was sung by Bob and Carol Coleman. Hudson Jr. of Lafayette, Indiana was born on Tuesday, September 4, 1917 in St. Louis, Missouri to William F. Hudson and Alice Rachel Fleshman Hudson and passed away at Regency Place, Lafayette, Indiana on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 10 days. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Hudson. He is survived by his son, William F. Mark was a member of the Emmanuel Methodist Church of Viburnum, Missouri. He was preceded in death by two wives, Cynthia (Goedell) Isaak and Kathy (Sherman) Isaak. He passed away in St. Louis Missouri on Friday, August 17, 2007 at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 16 days. Henry married Alice Ann Hughes on May 20, 1989 in Steelville, Missouri. He worked at Merritt Sawmill for more than 40 years and was a member of Center Point Baptist Church, Steelville, Missouri. He was an avid deer hunter and was generous in giving away deer sausage. He enjoyed road riding and spending time with family and spoiling his grandchildren. Leona Anna Mullen Leona Anna Mullen was born Tuesday, October 5, 1909 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Henry Ben and Mary Minerva (nee Weber) Schroeder and passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007 at the age of 97 years. She was united in marriage to John Edward Mullen on October 14, 1939 in Bourbon, Missouri and to this union two daughters were born. After 58 years of marriage, John preceded her in death on March 20, 1997. Leona had been a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel and St. Gerard Magella and presently a member of St. Michael Catholic Church of Steelville, Missouri. She was a past member of Ladies Sodality and quilting circle. She loved her family and church. Her Credo of faith, family and hard work were recognized by her friends and relatives down through the years. She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Bill Pope; one brother, Bernard Schroeder; one sister, Katherine Gazzalo; two brothers-in-law, Leroy Mullen and Frank Gazzolo and one sister-in-law, Catherine Schroeder. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Lillian Nooney. Michael Lee Ray Michael Lee Ray of Leasburg, Missouri, was born Wednesday, July 4, 1951 in Granite City, Illinois to Ruben James Lee Ray and Loretta Madalyn Niepert Ray. He passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at the age of 56 years, 1 month and 11 days. Michael lived in Leasburg, Missouri most of his adult life and had previously worked at Cuba McDonald’s for a few years. He was a Star Wars fan and enjoyed playing computer games. He loved his pet cat and dog. He was preceded in death by his parents; and half-brother, James Lee Ray. Madelynn Grace Salts Madelynn Grace Salts was born on February 3, 2006, to Jarrad and Karen (Riley) Salts, and passed away on August 12, 2007, in St. Louis, Missouri. Madelynn was 1 year, 6 months and 9 days old. Smith, son of Morris and Grace (Rumfelt) Smith was born January 13, 1923 on his parents farm on Benton Creek, a few miles from Cook Station, in Crawford County, Missouri. He passed away in St. Mary's Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri on July 23, 2007. In his childhood he lived on the farm on Benton Creek and attended the Carr School. The remainder of his life he resided in the St. Louis area with the exception of the time he was in the U. S. Army during World War II. He served with the 253rd Armored Field Artillery Battalion. He was wounded when he was in the Battle of The Bulge. He received the Purple Heart Medal. Evert was a member of the Maplewood Baptist Church, Maplewood, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada (nee Campbell); his parents; an infant brother, James Franklin Smith; and a sister, Thelma Smith. He is survived by cousins and their families. Whittaker Delmar G. “Curley” Whittaker of Hannibal, Missouri, was born April 4, 1921 in Viburnum, Missouri to Calvin and Gertrude Mae Brummitt Whittaker, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri at the age of 86. He was married to Bessie Bridgeman on April 22, 1944 in Steelville, Missouri. He retired after 27 years of service in maintenance for the Arnold Log and Lumber Company. He loved his family and grand kids. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends and liked to work on cars. He enjoyed dancing and was known to dance a “jig”. He attended Faith Miracle Ministry Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Johnny Whittaker and Clifford Whittaker; six brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife; five sons, David G. Whittaker (Martha), Delmar E. Whittaker (Georgia “Duder”), Albert G. Whittaker (Helen) all of Hannibal, Missouri, James E.
