Thomas worked for 28 years for Royal Canine in Rolla, Missouri where he was a foreman of production for many of those years. He was a big fan of Hank Williams Sr. and Hank Williams Jr. He was a big hearted, gentle man who adored his family and friends, he would give you this last dollar or the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He really enjoyed genealogy and could tell you everything about the community and family that wanted to know. He never married, or had children, but he took many family members in that he still today considers to be his "children." He is survived by his children, Charles E. Kenneth Wayne Clonts Kenneth Wayne Clonts of Sullivan, Missouri was born on April 1, 1948 to Raymond and Celia (Hammer) Clonts in Sullivan, Missouri and passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the age of 69 years. He grew up and attended school at Spring Bluff before graduating from Sullivan High. Ken married Debra Frohbieter on July 5, 1975 at the Bem Church in Bem, Missouri. Ken's life changed when he met the Lord and he became a passionate ambassador of Christ. He was involved in O.E.F. and was instrumental in planting churches in Hermann, Pacific and Warrenton, Missouri. He was a faithful member of Sullivan Christian Church, serving both as deacon and elder for many years. Throughout his life, he was employed at Meramec Industries for several years and then at the former Olin Brass company in Cuba, Missouri. Ken enjoyed the outdoors and would often go to the woods to talk with the Lord. He loved watching tractor pulls and drag races, and especially attending antique tractor shows. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Celia Clonts; a son, Kevin Clonts; daughter, Jennifer M. Clonts; brother, Jimmy Clonts; sister, Barbara Green. Nancy Susan Dillard Nancy Susan Dillard of St. James, Missouri was born on October 12, 1950 to Wren and Rhea (Leggett) Jeffers and passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the age of 66 years. Nancy was united in marriage to Elmer Dillard on May 21, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union three children were born. Nancy retired from Phelps County Regional Medical Center as a Medical Transcriptionist. She was a member of Forest City Christian Church in St. James, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, sewing, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wren and Rhea Jeffers; husband, Elmer Dillard; one daughter, Kimberly Dillard; and three brothers, Gary, Larry Joe and Terry Wren Jeffers. Patrick Bernard Donahoe Patrick Bernard Donahoe of Cuba, Missouri was born April 1, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri to Pearl and Raymond Donahoe and passed away on August 12, 2017 at the age of 91 years. The family moved first in the early 1930s to Steelville, Missouri and later to Cuba, Missouri. In the Navy in World War II, he primarily served on two destroyers: the USS Edison and USS Livermore. Altogether during his service, he would circumnavigate the globe three times. He was a Golden Gloves boxer. He gave up the sport in favor of Joyce Mae West. They were married March 11, 1950. He worked in the propane business and then in hardware sales and operated a hardware store in Cuba, Missouri. He worked as a route salesman for a hardware line. He taught himself to become an auctioneer. He said he would use utility poles along the roads to punctuate the sing-song cadence of the auctioneer. He then operated an auction business with son Tim for multiple years. He later sold western hats. He sold the hats at trail rides in Eminence along the Jacks Fork River in Shannon County. He served his community via the Lions Club and was elected to Cuba City Council and police committee. He also served in the board leadership of the Cuba Senior Citizen Center. He was a natural-born entertainer and mostly self-taught musician. He had a song repertoire that could rival a jukebox. He could make a fiddle sing and he always pursued what he said was the right "scald" on a harmonica. He performed with several area groups and at one time jammed with the Dillards and John Hartford at Salem, Missouri. He was a regular performer at the Senior Center. His loved reading and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; sisters, Margaret McKinstry, Teresa Stair and Louise Schropp; and brother, Raymond "Bud" Donahoe. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Cartwright and husband Clarence of suburban Atlanta, Georgia, and Patti Jo Donahoe of Nashville, Tennessee; son, Tim Donahoe and wife Linda of Cuba, Missouri; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Lorine Lois Huff Lorine Lois Huff of Fenton, Missouri, formerly of Cuba, was born Tuesday, September 15, 1925 at Fuel, Oklahoma to William "Bill" and May Belle (nee Dozier) Hamilton and passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Lorine married George James Huff on January 8, 1983 at Gerald, Missouri and they were happily married for 24 years. when George passed away January 2007. Lorine spent her life taking care of her home and family. Her greatest accomplishment was her children. Lorine grew up during the depression and because things were hard to come by, she learned to sew, do crafts and she could cook something good out of nothing. She spent hours gardening and tending to her beautiful flowers and you could find her behind the camera at every family event. She enjoyed playing cards, sitting on the porch and trips to the cabin with George. Lorine always did her makeup, fixed her hair and dressed up every day. She was truly humble, extremely forgiving and very devout in her faith. She said her prayers every night as she knelt next to her bed. When Lorine lived in Cuba, Missouri she attended the First Southern Baptist Church of Leasburg, Missouri for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and May Belle Hamilton; husband, George Huff; three sons, Roy Lee DeWitt, Lee Roy DeWitt and Ronald Lee DeWitt; one daughter, Loretta Ponzar; one grandchild; one great grandchild; brothers-in-law, William Huff and Edwin Huff; and sister-in-law, Wanda Mathias. Richard "Rick" Charles Miller Richard "Rick" Charles Miller of Springfield, Missouri was born September 25, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri to Leroy Charles and Shirley Mae Moss Miller and passed away on Friday August 11, 2017 at the age of 64 years. Rick as he was know by his family and friends, had a great appreciation for the outdoors, he loved to hunt and fish and go camping. He was very active in the Special Needs Boys Scout Chapter #2 in Springfield. If you visited his home you would find a great possession, a 32 pound bass he caught at Beaver Lake. Even though Rick had challenge with his arm it never hindered him in anything he did. He sold cars and managed car dealerships in Springfield, Missouri. He was a person who never met a stranger and never said anything bad about anyone. On October 25, 1980 Rick married Paula Sue Jones and to this union three children were born. Dosha Carol Nesbit Dosha Carol Nesbit of Rolla, Missouri was born on September 29, 1937 to Frank and Myrtle Mae Ritter Pendergraft in Pineville, Missouri and passed away on August 13, 2017 at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 17 days. Dosha was united in marriage to Ralph Lewis Nesbit on April 4, 1953 in Independence, Missouri. She was a homemaker and loved to have her grandchildren, great-granchildren and great-great-grandchildren around her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lewis Nesbit on October 31, 1986; parents, Frank and Myrtle Mae Ritter Pendergraft; sister, Barbara Rice; great-grandson, Ryder Banister; and grandson-in-law Chase Banister. Charlotte Mary Neumann Charlotte Mary Neumann, (nee Rosenkranz) of Steelville, Missouri was born August 27, 1920 in St. Louis, Missouri to Herman J. and Anna Theurer Rosenkranz and passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the age of 96 years, 11 months and 17 days. On August 16, 1941 in St. Louis, she married Lawrence "Bill" Neumann and to this union three children were born. Charlotte and Bill grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. They met when she was a senior in high school during the time Bill was her brother's music teacher. After a four year courtship they married and a few years later bought her mother's confectionery store. In 1955, they bought some acreage outside of Steelville, Missouri for weekend trips. Later in 1977, they moved to Crawford County and became involved in the community. Charlotte was a member of the Steelville First Presbyterian Church. She was very active in the Martha & Mary Order of Eastern Star and assisted with special events at Gibbs Care. Charlotte enjoyed gardening, quilting and crafts throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Anna Rosenkranz; her husband, Bill Neumann; one son, Glenn Alan Neumann; and brother, Herman J. John Max Price John Max Price was born on October 27, 1935, in Beach, Missouri to Lee and Mildred (Hollis) Price and passed away on August 15, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Judge Price graduated from Marshfield High School at age 16 and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Southwest Missouri State College (Missouri State University - Springfield) and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri - Columbia and practiced law for over 30 years. He was a former Missouri Assistant Attorney General, former Dent County Prosecuting Attorney, Circuit Court Judge and Senior Judge for the Missouri 42nd Judicial Circuit. He was a member of the Missouri Bar Association since 1966, Abou Ben Adhem Shriners of Southwest Missouri, the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and the American Legion. He greatly enjoyed the legal profession. He was known for his strong work ethic, humility and commitment to fairness. He never met a stranger and was larger than life. He enjoyed listening to country music, hunting and fishing and watching 60 Minutes. He enriched the lives of many people with his humor, generosity, and storytelling. Felix was a great welder and excellent carpenter. He worked several years for Jones Construction in St. Louis, Missouri and was a member of the Carpenter's union. He later worked for L&J Construction in Cuba, Missouri. He also, was a part of the road construction crew during the restructuring of Hwy. 19 overpass and highway to Steelville, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Julia Weidman.
