He married Jesse W. Sliger on February 14, 1943 in Licking, Missouri and to this union 10 children were born. On their 71st anniversary, February 14, 2014, Jesse and Fred were crowned Queen and King of Hearts at the Gibbs Care Center Valentine Banquet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willett and Cora Booker; wife, Jesse on August of 2014; step-mother, Bertha Booker, parents-in-law, A.Z. "Zeb" and Dora Sliger; son, Larry Booker; sons-in-law, James Pitts, Roy Soper, and Don Taylor; daughter-in-law, Patricia Booker; brothers, Tess (Bernice) Booker, Frank (Irene) Booker and Albert "Jack" (Joyce) Booker; sisters, Goldie (Bill) Miller, Bessie (Beecher) Clark, Elsie (Olin) Martin, and Edna (John) Duncan; brother-in-law, Vernon Sliger; sister-in-law, Sophia "Hope" Snelson; grandchild, Randy Booker; great grandchildren, Angel Gresham, Angelina Gresham, Garrett Manthey, Grace Gresham, Hollie Chasen, Jamie Gresham and Lane Gresham. "Doug" Davis of Rolla, Missouri was born in Hannibal, Missouri on February 16, 1959 to Darold K. "Tiny" and Onez (Stump) Davis and passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the age of 57 years. On February 16, 1991 he married Dianne Raffaelli. Doug previously worked as the general manager of the Big Bear Farm & Home Store in Rolla, Missouri and later as lead maintenance for the Cantex Corporation in Rolla, Missouri. Among his many interests were fishing, hunting, watching the television show "Super Natural" with his daughter and cooking for his family. Doug was also a member of the Rolla Moose Lodge since 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darold and Onez Davis; daughter, Emily Ann Davis; granddaughter, Molly Davis; and brother, Dale Davis. Steven Leslie McMillen Steven Leslie McMillen of Steelville, Missouri was born June 26, 1978 at Potosi, Missouri to Jerry Edward and Wanda Sue Asher McMillen and passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the age of 38 years. Steven worked in construction and was self-employed. He always loved taking time to fish in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Edward McMillen; and two brothers, Timothy and John McMillen. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Sue McMillen of Buna, Texas; one son, Timothy John Steven McMillen of Steelville, Missouri; one brother, Mark McMillen of Cuba, Missouri; one sister, Bonnie Sue Revia and husband Ryan of Silsbee, Texas; other relatives and friends. Reimers of Leasburg, Missouri was born on January 8, 1932 in Houlton, Maine to Leon and Annie (Bourgoin) Deschaine passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the age of 84 years. Lorraine was united in marriage to Walter Reimers on November 26, 1955 in Houlton, Maine and to this union five children were born. Lorraine worked several years at Summers Nursing Home in Leasburg, Missouri before becoming a homemaker. She was a longtime devoted parishioner of the St. Francis Catholic Church in Bourbon, Missouri. She enjoyed taking care of her home and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and annie Deschaine; one daughter, Lori Reimers; two sisters, Gloria Oaks and Gerry Myers; and two brothers, Norman and Gilman Deschaine. Frank Earl Skyles Frank Earl Skyles of Rolla, Missouri was born on October 2, 1948 to Frank Raymond and Lottie Marie Nease Skyles and passed away on August 17, 2016 at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 15 days. He was united in marriage to Brenda Kay Chilton Skyles who passed away on April 27, 1998. Then he married Patrica Ann Roark. Frank was a maintenance director and worked for Great Circle for 33 1/2 years. Frank loved the farm. It had been in the family for over 100 years. He enjoyed his cattle, hogs, and chickens and putting up hay. He had many John Deere tractors (over 10) and had sheds for all of them. Frank loved to have fun, telling jokes and aggravating friends or just causing trouble. He loved his guns, and spent many hours reloading ammo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Raymond and Lottie Marie Skyles; and his first wife, Brenda Kay Skyles. He is survived by his wife of the home, Patrica Ann Roark Skyles; three sons, Dale Skyles of Rolla, Missouri, Donald Skyles of Ashville, North Carolina and Jimmy Skyles of Arkansas; two daughters, Elizabeth Paine and Dorothy Skyles, both of Rolla, Missouri; two brothers, Raymond Skyles of Pieria, Illinois and Charles Skyles of Rolla, Missouri; three sisters, Rose Teems, Aarmyma Gargus and Virginai Beyers, all of Rolla, Missouri; 10 step-grandchildren; one step great grandchild; other relatives and friends. Christine "Peggy" Tupper Christine "Peggy" (nee Hood) Tupper of Rolla, Missouri was born on Christmas Day in 1941 in West Point, Georgia to John and Mary (Burdette) Hood and passed away August 18, 2016 at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 24 days. Christine grew up in Lanett, Alabama, the youngest of five children. Christine married Robert Tupper and lived in many states across our country with their three daughters. Upon their retirement from the US Navy, Christine became a resident of Rolla, Missouri in 1979. Christine worked for many years at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center. Christine had a strong faith in God, unending love for her family and will always be remembered by those who knew her for her beautiful blue eyes and genuine concern for her fellow man. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Hood; sisters, Phyllis George and Sabra Teague; brother, Earl Hood; and grandson, Richard "Austin" Stevenson.
