Cleo F. Baker
Cleo F. Baker of Cuba, Missouri was born on Friday, May 11, 1928 at Marquand,
Missouri to the union of Tony Baker and Gladys (nee Masters) Baker and passed
away Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 80 years,
3 months and 12 days.
He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1946 until 1952. Cleo was
united in marriage to Carmella LoDuca on September 6, 1953 at St. Louis,
Missouri and to this union four children were born.
He attended Georgia Tech and received a degree in Diesel Mechanic. He was the
President and Owner/operator of Anpaul Window Company (in the St. Louis, Cuba
and Washington areas) for 45 years before retiring April 23, 2001. He was a
member of the NFIB for 15 years, the Knights of Columbus and served as
President of the Board of Directors for the Shrine of St. Joseph for many
years.
Cleo spent the majority of his life working, but the most important thing to
him was his family and spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, T.J. Baker; other
relatives and friends.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; his four children, Angeli Baker of
Florissant, Missouri, Paula and husband Ray Harvey of New Haven, Missouri,
Steven and wife Stella Baker of Milton, Florida and Katie and husband Dean
Pluth of Camdenton, Missouri; one sister, Verna and husband Jerry Thacker of
Milton, Florida; 13 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; other relatives
and friends.
Visitation was held Monday, August 25, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral
Home of Cuba, Missouri and Tuesday, August 26, 2008 from 9-11 a.m. at the
Shrine of St. Joseph, St. Louis, Missouri.
Funeral mass was celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the Shrine of
St. Joseph. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri with
full military honors.

Spc. Kevin Randolph Dickson
Spc. Kevin Randolph Dickson was born January 12, 1987, in Galveston, Texas
and passed away on August 2, 2008, in Balad, Iraq at the age of 21 years.
Spc. Dickson has been in the army for two years and has served two tours in
Iraq. He was assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Group
Support Battalion, Group Support Company, Fort Carson, Colorado.
During his service, Spc. Kevin Dickson received the Joint Service Achievement
Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Bronze Star, Global
War on Terrorism Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Overseas
Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Parachute
Badge, and Expert Weapons Qualification Badge.
Kevin was real outgoing and a lot of fun to be around. He liked to cut up and
was silly all the time. He got along with everybody.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Dickson, Sr. and grandparents,
Randolph Isaacks and Caroline Erickson.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine Neidig of Angleton, Texas; step father,
Daniel Neidig, Sr. of Steelville, Missouri; brothers, Spc. Anthony Dickson and
wife, Ashley of Ft. Hood, Texas, Mark Dickson, Jr. of Salem, Ohio, Spc. Daniel
Neidig, Jr. and wife, Ashley of Steelville, Missouri, and Brent Vanest of
Steelville, Missouri; one sister, Cassandra Eichler of Salem, Ohio, two nieces,
Isabelle Dickson and Natalia Neidig, one nephew, Haydin Neidig; other relatives
and friends.
A memorial service was held at Family Life Church in Lake Jackson, Texas on
Friday, August 15, 2008 with Rev. Craig Taylor officiating.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the Britton-Bennett
Funeral Home with the Steelville VFW, Steelville American Legion and Patriot
Guards standing as Honor Guards.
Funeral services for Spc. Kevin Dickson were held at Britton-Bennett Funeral
Home in Steelville, Missouri on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 2 p.m. with
Chaplain Eddie Cook officiating. Special music of “Go Rest High” and “Amazing
Grace” were played during the service. A eulogy and remembrances were given by
Ashley Dickson.
Committal prayer and burial were in the Steelville Cemetery. “Amazing Grace”
was played on bagpipe by Rob Bowness. Full military honors were given by theU.S. Army.

Maurice D. Enloe
Maurice D. Enloe was born December 17, 1934 to Frank and Opal Enloe, at Cuba,
Missouri and passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital,
St. Charles, Missouri at the age of 73 years.
He married Donna Enloe (nee Stokes) in 1960 in Owensville, Missouri.
He served in the Army. He was a member of the Grace Baptist and was a
foundation contractor with Enloe Construction, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of St. Charles, Missouri; four sons, Frank (Marsha)
Enloe of O’Fallon, Missouri, Darrell Enloe of Silex, Missouri, Stanley Enloe
of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, Dale (Jennifer) Enloe of Foristell, Missouri;
daughter, Neva (Steve) Murray of Titusville, Florida; 15 grandchildren, Caleb,
Joshua, Shae, Jodi, Jessica, Julia, Jonie, Jarrod, Amanda, Alyssa, Paul,
Phillip, Tiffany, Zachary and Zoe; four great grandchildren; brother, Robert
(Mary) Enloe of Columbia, Missouri; sister, Doris (Donald) Collier of
Wentzville, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Monday, August 25, 2008 from 3-9 p.m. at the Baue Funeral and
Memorial Center, St. Charles, Missouri.
Services were at the Grace Baptist Church, St. Charles, Missouri on Tuesday,
August 26, 2008 at 10 a.m.
Committal service at Enloe-Hodge, Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri, August 26, 2008 at
3:30 p.m.

Missouri.
Bobbie Lou Mercer
Bobbie Lou Mercer nee Baker of Cuba, Missouri was born on Monday,
October 13, 1913 in Longville, Louisiana to Robert Lee Baker, Sr. and Adelia
Mary Grote Baker. She passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Cuba Manor
at the age of 94 years, 10 months, and 7 days.
Bobbie married Howard Henry Mercer in 1932 and to this union two children were
born.
She enjoyed quilting, gardening, collecting dolls and making doll clothes. She
loved to sing and whistle and loved taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Grace Mercer; brothers,
Eugene Baker and Robert L. Baker, Jr.; sisters, Kate Spicer, Pauline Farris,
and Pearl Crowder.
She is survived by her son Russell Mercer and wife Gladys of Leasburg,
Missouri; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, and 12 great great
grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was Friday, August 22, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s
Cemetery, Berger, Missouri.

Shirley Ada Monehan
Shirley Ada Monehan of St. Louis, Missouri was born November 5, 1935 in
St. Louis, Missouri to Frank and Ada (Cavanaugh) Haffer and passed away Monday,
August 18, 2008 in St. Clair, Missouri at the age of 72 years.
She was united in marriage in St. Louis to Eugene Charles Monehan in 1953.
She is survived by her husband of St. Louis, Missouri; a son, William (Bill)
Monehan and wife Diana of St. Clair, Missouri; one brother; Herman Haffer and
wife Stephanie of Florissant, Missouri; three grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa
and Megan; other relatives and friends.
Shirley was of the Lutheran faith.
In her spare time, she loved to shop, travel, go antiquing and spending time
with her granddaughters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the
Britton-Bennett Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Special music
of “Amazing Grace” was played.
Casketbearers were Don Eichholz, Rod Haffer, Rick Eichholz, Robert Harper,
Melvin Haffer and Bob Luke.
Committal prayer and burial were in the Haffer Cemetery at Berryman, Missouri.

Steelville, Missouri.
Alan Wayne Otto
Alan Wayne Otto of Cherryville, Missouri, was born July 7, 1958 in St. Louis,
Missouri to Frank and Ruby (Lebbs) Otto and passed away on Wednesday,
August 20, 2008 at his home at the age of 50 years.
On September 22, 2007, he was united in marriage to Rosemary Stulce.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of the home; his daughter, Tonya Otto and friend
Michael of Maplewood, Missouri; two step daughters, Danielle Crocker of Czar
Tower, Missouri and Sara Crocker of Cherryville, Missouri; two brothers,
George Otto and wife Sheila of Pevely, Missouri and Richard Otto and wife
Mary of St. Louis, Missouri; three sisters, Dorrie LeRoy and husband Stan of
Fenton, Missouri, Sandy Leahart and Jolene Daum and husband Jim, all of
St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren, Marissa and Michael; other relatives
and friends.
At the request of the family, his body was donated to science.
Memorial services and barbecue will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday,
August 30, 2008 at the Steelville City Park in Steelville, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of
Steelville, Missouri.
Neil Perkins
Neil Perkins of Wesco, Missouri, was born April 10, 1942 to Warren and Fern
Marie (Housewright) Perkins in St. James, Missouri and passed away Thursday,
August 14, 2008 at Dubuis Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri at the age of
66 years.
On October 6, 1984, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Recar in Berryman,
Missouri.
Neil served in the U.S. Army and later transferred to the Missouri National
Guard.
He had worked as a surveyor for the Missouri Department of Transportation
from 1964 to 2002. After retiring he taught civil engineering-surveying at
Linn Technical College and worked part-time doing contract surveying for the
Missouri Dept. of Transportation.
He was a member of Straightway Baptist Church and attended St. Michael’s
Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Missouri Trappers Association,
the NRA and the Missouri Society of Professional Surveyors.
Neil enjoyed donating his time to the Steelville Food Pantry and gardening.
He was known to share his vegetables with friends and especially his corn.
He had a great enjoyment for fishing, hunting with his family and spending
winters in Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Jeff Perkins and wife Julie of
Steelville, Missouri; one daughter, Jackie Blanford and husband Gary of
Steelville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Marlena Helms and husband Kyle of
Washington, Missouri, Justin Perkins, Melanie Perkins, Philip Blanford and
Kelsey Blanford, all of Steelville, Missouri; other relatives and many
friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the
Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Bro. Mike Cooper
officiating.
Special music of “I Saw the Light” and How Can I Keep From Singing” were
sung and played by Rev. Jerry Beers.
Committal prayer and burial were in the Wesco Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Justin Perkins, Drake Tarpley, Don Hedrick, Philip
Blanford, Robert Hartmann, Ken Sego, Michael Reed, Deon White and Harold
Cape.

Bryan Keith Vaughn
Bryan Keith Vaughn of Cuba, Missouri was born on Saturday, January 22, 1966
in Sullivan, Missouri to Wilbur Jewell Vaughn and Imogene (Dugan) Vaughn. He
passed away at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri on Friday,
August 22, 2008 at the age of 42 years and 7 months.
Bryan graduated from Central High School in Springfield, Missouri where he
played football. He later moved to St. Louis, Missouri and worked at Bi-State
Transit for 20 years. He was a member of the Algomated Transit Union Local
#788. Bryan owned several classic cars through the years, played the drums,
was a songwriter, and loved spending time with family and friends. He was an
organ donor.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his parents; sisters Julie Ann (David) Darmon of Ballwin,
Missouri, Charlene (Conrad) Percival of Rosebud, Missouri and brother Roger
(Margarete) Vaughn of Owensville, Missouri; nephews David (Andrea) Darmon, Jr.
of Eureka, Missouri, Joseph Darmon of Ballwin, Missouri; nieces Ginger (Kasey)
O’Hara and Tina Vaughn, all of Fenton, Missouri; great nephew Brayden Darmon;
uncle Charles (Helen) Vaughn of Cuba, Missouri; aunts Carol (Stanley) Berry of
Springfield, Missouri and Eileen Vaughn of California, Missouri; other
relatives and friends.
Visitation was Monday, August 25, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. and funeral service is
Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri
with Rev. Bob Knight officiating.
Burial at Roberts Cemetery, Salem, Missouri with pallbearers Patrick Gilmore,
Mike Lowhorn, David Darmon, Jr., Joseph Darmon, Matt Lakin, and Gregory
Parmley.
All arrangements under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri.
