MO Local Obituaries for the Week of August 30, 2017 David Leroy Dacus David Leroy Dacus of Bourbon, Missouri was born on May 4, 1935 to Joseph L. and Willamae (Harper) Dacus in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the age of 82 years. He grew up and attended Bryan Hill Elementary School in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Beaumont High School in St. Louis. He also earned some college credits from East Central College. David honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1955-1957. David married Nora Jane Winkle on October 4, 1969 in Clayton, Missouri. Dave had a very broad work experience; starting as a wood pattern maker at Superior Pattern Works, he also worked for Hussman Refrigerator for 24 years, then he sold real estate for one year, he was a facility Supervisor at Emerson Electric and then an owner of Dave's Donut and Coffee Shop. Dave and his family lived in the St. Louis area until 1989 when he retired. They moved to Sullivan, Missouri for a few years but then made their permanent residency in Bourbon, Missouri. Dave was a member of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts as a committee member and Webelos Den Leader, Our Lady of Fatima Men's Club, Treasurer/Master of Arms and Missouri Real Estate Board member. He enjoyed woodworking and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Dacus and Willamae Dacus; three siblings, Shirley Dickhans, Carol Anderson and Robert Dacus; and his first wife, Anna May. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nora Jane (Winkle) Dacus; great-grandson, Ethan Hartman of the family home; five daughters, Donna Guyre and husband John of Hazelwood, Missouri, Joanne Noascono of Bourbon, Missouri, Susan Layton and husband Robert of St. Peters, Missouri, Carol Bligh and wife Cindy Poirier of Sorrento, Florida and Mary Kopas of Hazelwood, Missouri; two sons, David J. Dacus and wife Rachel of Arnold, Missouri and Thomas Bligh and wife Debbie of Nashville, Tennessee; 15 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri. Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, Missouri. Interment followed at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Donald Carl Dosch Donald Carl Dosch of Rolla, Missouri was born December 22, 1951 in the state of Virginia to Carl and Evelyn Hampton Dosch and passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the age of 65 years. Donald retired from USGS in Rolla with over 30 years of work. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a medic. He loved to fish and float the Big Piney River near Duke and Beulah, Missouri. He is survived by his cousin, Kevin Hampton of St. James, Missouri; nephew, Dwayne Jose of Troy, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Charles Imboden Charles Imboden of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Tuesday, November 6, 1934 in Vienna, Missouri to Lee and Elsie Rogers Imboden and passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 21 days. Charles married Pearl Rector on September 19, 1959 in Leasburg, Missouri. He liked attending Word of Life Church in Sullivan, Missouri and was baptized last year. He worked many years and retired from Paramount Cap factory. Charles enjoyed hunting coons, squirrels and deer. He also, liked camping fishing, gigging and having fish frys. He raised a big garden and helped Pearl with the canning of vegetables. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Elsie Imboden; sisters, Sylvia (Morris) Rector, Tilda (Leo) Laney, Myrtle (John) Elliott and Wanda Fleishman; brothers, Ray (Rose) Imboden and Guy Imboden; niece, Dana Howard; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Norbert Nilges, Helen Rector, Robert Rector, Melvin (Pat) Rector and David Howard. Jones of Leasburg, Missouri was born Sunday, May 5, 1946 at Iberia, Missouri to Everret J. and Dorothy L. (nee Alexander) Jones and passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the age of 71 years. Derrel served in the United States Army from April 23, 1968 to January 16, 1970. He earned National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. Derrel married Diane Jackson on March 9, 1979 at Cuba, Missouri. He was 15 years old when he went to work with his father climbing poles for LP&H Contractors. He retired from Crawford Electric, as a lineman, after 36 and half years. Derrel and Diane spent their winters in Mississippi, Louisiana or Florida and they would flip a coin to see were they would go during the summer. For many years you could find Derrel at the "Round Table" at Ike's having coffee in the morning. He was a motorcycle enthusiast. He was a member to the Trinity Chapel Presbyterian Church for many years. Derrel loved life, liked challenges and truly enjoyed each day he was given. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everret and Dorothy Jones; sister, Alice Petree; and father-in-law, Robert Jackson. Jack Edward Lee Jack Edward Lee of Cuba, Missouri was born on July 7, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri to Harry E. and Ethel (Barth) Lee and passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Jack honorably served his country in the United States Navy from November 19, 1947 to February 10, 1949. He would later serve in the United States Army from December 27, 1954 to December 27, 1955. He was a retiree of the Maritz Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Jane Lee; father-in-law, John H. Thompson Jr.; and one sister-in-law, Rose Osborn. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia A. Lee of Cuba, Missouri; one son, John E. (Martin) Moreland on Sunday, March 29, 1959 in Cuba, Missouri and passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the age of 58 years. Delmon was a jack of all trades, he worked in construction, installed flooring and could fix just about anything. He loved being grandpa and taking the grandkids on tractor rides, riding his Harley, fishing, hunting and was always the "rock" of the family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Dorothy Moreland; two children, Matthew and Katrisha Moreland; and two brothers-in-law, Al Hufendick and Danny Kisslinger.
