Many years ago he attended church with his family at Coffee Church. He always enjoyed watching television. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Harmon; one brother, Wilbur Ransom; and one infant sister, Brenda Sue. He is survived by his father, Roy Harmon of Steelville, Missouri; four brothers and one sister, Calvin Emory Harmon and wife Gloria Jean of Steelville, Missouri, Paul Harmon and wife Sue of Steelville, Missouri, Janis Cox of Steelville, Missouri, Larry Harmon and wife Misty of Cherryville, Missouri, John Ransom and wife Laurie of Steelville, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Visitation was from 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of "Old Rugged Cross and "Go Rest High" was played and sung by Bob and Carol Coleman. Other music of Cherokee "Amazing Grace" was also played. Emmett Allen Lane Emmett Allen Lane of Steelville, Missouri was born on Saturday, September 27, 1947 in Kennett, Missouri to Wareley W. and Ora B. Urich Lane and passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the age of 66 years, 11 months and 4 days. Emmett married Olive Mae Cunningham on September 12, 1979 in St. Louis, Missouri and together they raised her two daughters. Emmett accepted the Lord and attended 1st Assembly of God Church in Steelville, Missouri. He worked a number of years as a commercial truck driver. He also worked for Pick a Chick Packing Company on Manchester Road in St. Louis, Missouri. He later worked at Huzzah Valley Campground as a bus driver and groundskeeper. Emmett enjoyed hunting, fishing, floating and riding around the country and visiting with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warley and Ora Lane; parents-in-law, Ed Cunningham, Lavada (Jim) Stevens; two sisters, Sylvia (Jim) Hurst and Joyce (Richard) Hancock; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard McBride, John G. Bolin, Loise "Tammy" (James) Tinker, Lee Cunningham, Joe Cunningham, Charlie (Joyce) Cunningham and Joe Mitchell. Catherine Ann O'Brien Catherine Ann (Hille) O'Brien of Cuba, Missouri was born on Sunday, August 20, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri to Andrew Joseph and Mary "Pauline" Catlett O'Brien and passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the age of 53 years and 7 days. Catherine married Patrick Rice, Sr. and to this union three daughters and a son were born. She later married Steven Hille, Sr. and they had one son. Catherine enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved to read, listen to music, spend time at the river and play Facebook games. One of her favorite pastimes was watching her youngest son, Steven, play basketball. She recently completed her CNA certification. She is survived by her parents, Andrew and Pauline O'Brien of Cuba, Missouri; daughters, Jessica Rice (Ramiro) Martinez of St. Louis, Missouri, Ellen Rice (Christopher) Ramey of Crystal City, Missouri and Elizabeth Rice of St. Louis, Missouri; sons, Patrick Rice, Jr. of Dittmer, Missouri and Steven Hille, Jr. of Steelville, Missouri; brother, Andy (Shirley) O'Brien of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Sofia and R.J. Robert James "Bob" Ringeisen Robert James "Bob" Ringeisen of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, February 20, 1933 to James A. and Pearl A. (nee Ellis) Ringeisen and passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Bob was united in marriage to M. Jane Treece on August 19, 1953 in Hernando, Mississippi and to this union three sons were born. Bob proudly served in the United States Army, during the Korean War, from 1953 until 1955. After leaving the Army, Bob returned back to work as a machinist for the St. Louis Diecasting Corporation and he retired after 45 years of dedicated service in 1995. Bob enjoyed working in his garage, being outdoors enjoying the sunshine, hunting and fishing. Bob demonstrated his faith well through his kind and generous spirit and the love he showed others. He enjoyed spending time with family vacationing at the lake, swimming, waterskiing (until his early 70'), celebrating holidays and sharing family meals. Bob and Jane were founding members of the Amazing Grace Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Pearl Ringeisen; one infant son, David Alan Ringeisen; three sisters, Velma Pazkiewicz, Margaret Bayless and Shirley McMurtry; and brother-in-law, Dale Treece. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jane Ringeisen of the home; two sons, Robert M. Arrangements under the direction of the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. Henry C. "Hank" Williams, Jr. Henry C. "Hank" Williams, Jr. of Cuba, Missouri was born to Henry C. and Ida B. (Moore) Williams, Sr. on February 1, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Hank was united in marriage to Shirley M. Albert on December 29, 1951 in University City, Missouri and to this union three children were born. Hank retired as the Vice-President of Miracle Plumbing Supply Company in St. Louis, Missouri after many years of dedicated service. He served his country honorably in U.S. Navy Reserves. He was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church, a member of Knights of Columbus, Indian Hills Men's Club and the Cuba Lions Club - Past President and Melvin Jones Fellow. In his spare time he enjoyed going to auctions, collecting baseball cards, 8-track and cassette tapes, fishing and golfing. On Dec. 31, 1999 at the Cuba Lakes Golf Course, Hank scored a hole in one. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ida Williams; and one sister, Norma Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. Williams of Cuba, Missouri; three children, Sharon Knoppe of St. Peters, Missouri, Thomas and wife Karen Williams of St. Louis, Missouri and Lawrence and wife Patti Williams of Maryland Heights, Missouri; six grandchildren, Ashley and husband Matt Caldwell, Jessica, Sam, Sarah, Ben and Zach Williams; four great grandchildren, Slena, Donnie, Liliana and Jacob; two sisters-in-law, Mary Sparks of South Lake, Texas, Joan Slade of Davisville, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Bob Albert of St. Peters, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
