Aileen Hunter
Aileen Hunter of Bourbon, Missouri was born at Long Branch, West Virginia on
November 15, 1921 to Gilbert and Nina (Dodson) Wingrove and passed away at
her home on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the age of 90 years, 10 months
and 19 days.
On April 4, 1942 she was united in marriage to William Ernest Hunter, Sr.
They made their home in Long Branch, West Virginia until moving to New Mexico
in 1957. Later, in October of 1962 the family settled in Bourbon, Missouri.
For a time Aileen was a cook and waitress, but was most remembered as a sale
clerk in the fabric department at Walmart. Aileen enjoyed sewing and quilting
and was also an avid gardener and would can most of her produce.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Nina Wingrove; her
husband William; one granddaughter, Mandy Hunter; one great grandson, Levi
Hunter; two daughters-in-law, Cheryl Hunter and Tammy Hunter; one brother,
Willis Wingrove and one sister, Josephine Brown.
She is survived by nine children, William Ernest Hunter Jr. and wife Marie
of Bourbon, Missouri, Lanny Allan Hunter and wife Connie of Leasburg,
Missouri, Thomas Edward Hunter and wife Eileen of Bourbon, Missouri,
Randall Strickler Hunter and wife Karen of Leasburg, Missouri, James
Gilbert Hunter of Bourbon, Missouri, Patrick Glen Hunter of Bourbon,
Missouri, Gary David Hunter and wife Donna of Bourbon, Missouri, Larry
Gene Hunter and wife Fran of Cuba, Missouri and Helen Knuckles and husband
Donn of Bourbon, Missouri; one sister, Virginia Brown of San Raphael,
New Mexico; 25 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; three great great
grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m., on Saturday and on Sunday from 1 p.m.
until time of service at 2 p.m. at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan,
Missouri.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from
the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri with Aaron Stieferman
officiating.
Interment was in the Bourbon Cemetery.

Christopher Alan Pollard
Christopher Alan Pollard was born October 16, 1978 in Rolla, Missouri and
passed away September 27, 2012 in Salem, Missouri at the age of 33 years.
Chris was the father of two beautiful boys, Shawn and Aaron. His passion
was music and loved playing the guitar. He also enjoyed riding his
motorcycle, hunting, fishing and hanging with friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Farris Pollard; great
grandparents, Evelyn Vandorn, Marvin Watson, Georgia King and Henry Reeves
and niece, Emma Rosella Casey.
He is survived by his parents, David and Brenda Pollard of Salem, Missouri;
sons, Shawn and Aaron Pollard; brothers, Matt Pollard of Salem, Missouri
and Billy Pollard and wife Alison of Roswell, New Mexico; sisters, Jennifer
Shaw of Salem, Missouri and Alisha Casey of Salem, Missouri; grandparents,
Don and Irene Watson of St. James, Missouri and Irene Brooks of Lenox,
Missouri; significant other, Kim Pasley of Rolla, Missouri; other relatives
and friends.
Funeral service was held October 1, 2012, at Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel
with Bro. Russ Davidson officiating, a eulogy was given by Kim Pasley, special
CD selections were played.
Pallbearers were Matthew Pollard, Billy Pollard, Jason Blankenship, Davie
Scott, Mike Radford and Kevin Conway.
Honorary pallbearers were Jarred Brown, Devin Chamberlain, Leon Bays,
Justin Deason, Jason Gray and Don Gregory.
Chris was driven to the Asher Cemetery by Ty Conklin of the Last Ride
Motorcycle Hearse Company.
Interment was in the Asher Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the Wilson Mortuary.
Luther Price
Luther Price of Sullivan, Missouri was born March 22, 1929 in Arkansas to
Auther and Della Simpson Price and passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at
his home in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 83 years.
He and Margaret Hankins were married May 24, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Luther and Margaret were blessed with seven children.
Luther was employed for 30 years in the automobile industry in the parts
warehouse. After retirement, he enjoyed playing bingo and spending time
outdoors. He loved his large family and was very proud of his children,
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Auther and Della Price; a son,
Jeffrey Price; and three brothers, Leroy, Harvey and Elzie Price.
He survived by his wife, Margaret; four sons, Timothy Price of Waterloo,
Illinois, Louis Price of Stanton, Missouri, Luke Price Jr. and wife Mary
of St. Ann, Missouri and Bruce Price of Kirkwood, Missouri; two daughters,
Cindy Price of Steelville, Missouri and Laura Schmidtke and husband Roy of
Bourbon, Missouri; four brothers, Walter Price of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Joe
Price of Sullivan, Missouri, Eddie Price of Arkansas and Freddy Price of
Arkansas; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the
Chapel of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Scott
Perry officiating.
Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan,
Missouri.
Helen Verle Prigge
Helen Verle (Warner) Prigge was born October 29, 1925 in Vichy, Missouri
to Samuel A. Warner and Nettie (Maupin) Warner and passed away
October 5, 2012, at the Boone Hospital in Columbia, at the age of 86 years,
11 months and 6 days of age.
Verele married Edwin Prigge on Sept 18, 1948, at the First Baptist Church
in Rolla, Missouri and to this union, five children were born.
She worked as a switchboard operator prior to her marriage. Once married,
Verele and Eddie lived in several states while he worked for the Federal
Aviation Administration.
Upon returning to Vichy, Missouri, Verle operated a restaurant. Around 1962,
Verle and Eddie purchased the C.O. Fannon Store in Vichy and called it
Prigge’s Market. Verele ran the store until 1990 when they sold it. For 30
years, Eddie and Verle enjoyed spending the winters in Bonita Beach, Florida.
Verle was well-known for her crochet work and always had a ball of yarn and
crochet hook close at hand.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Nettie Warner; one son,
Robert Warner Prigge; one brother, Dale Warner; one sister, Elva Giesler;
and two infant brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eddie, of the home in Vichy,
Missouri; four children, Ruth Anne Moreland and husband Marty of Vichy,
Missouri; Betty Sue Litton of Vichy, Missouri, Genevieve Maples of Belle,
Missouri and Mike Prigge and wife Bonnie of Vichy, Missouri; nine grand-
children, Lisa Cannon, Scott Moreland, Donnie Chambers, Mark Chambers,
Andrew Maples, Jesse Maples, Claire Maples, Logan Prigge, and Lauren
Prigge; and six great grandchildren, Joshua Ledbetter, Austyn, Allison
and Zachary Moreland; and Dimesha and Elizabeth Chambers.
Visitation was from 4-6 p.m. on Monday October 8, 2012, at the Jones
Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Memorial service was conducted at 6 p.m. on Monday October 8, 2012, at
the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri with Sandy Dixon officiating.
Dorthy Daniels played the organ with Marty Moreland as vocalist.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James,
Missouri.
Ava L. Rohrer
Ava L. Rohrer of Bourbon, Missouri was born in the Hinch area near
Bourbon, Missouri on January 27, 1926 to Luther C. and Alice Mae
(Payne) Wymer and passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the age of
86 years, 8 months, and 7 days.
She had lived the majority of her life in the Bourbon area. She was
known as a very loving and kind woman who was a caregiver to many who
needed a helping hand. She also loved animals and would take in stray
cats and dogs. Ava loved her big garden and was a great cook and would
can the majority of her vegetables she grew. She also was fond of flowers
and her many house plants. She also enjoyed traveling and took several
trips around the country. She was also a student of the Bible and knew
the scriptures and enjoyed reading them. She was a faithful member of
the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She was preceded in death her parents, Luther and Alice Wymer; four
brothers, Eldon, Ovie, Clifford and Calvin Wymer and one sister, Dorothy
Ivie.
She is survived by a step-daughter, Mary Pineda of Bourbon, Missouri;
two nieces, Golden Miller and Gladys Pennock both of Sullivan, Missouri;
three sisters-in-law, Shirley Wymer of Bourbon, Missouri, Viola Wymer of
Bourbon, Missouri and Wilma Wymer of Sullivan, Missouri; other relatives
and friends.
Visitation was held Monday, October 8, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time
of service at 1 p.m. at the Eaton Funeral Chapel in Bourbon, Missouri.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012
from the Eaton Funeral Chapel in Bourbon with Elder Tim Hertel officiating.
Interment was in the Bourbon Cemetery.

Missouri.
Raymond Robert Wilke
Raymond Robert Wilke of Cherryville, Missouri was born June 25, 1930
in Perryville, Missouri to Charles and Anna (Pohlman) Wilke and passed
away Monday, October 1, 2012 at Gibbs Care Center in Steelville at the
age of 82 years.
He was united in marriage to Marie Kirby.
Raymond served his country honorably in the U.S. Army from 1952 until
1954. He loved his pets, enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching wrestling
at the Chase.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Anna Wilke; his
wife, Marie Wilke in 1992; one brother, William Wilke and one sister, Hilda
Lukefahr.
He is survived by four nephews, Lawrence LukeFahr and Kelvin Wilke of
Arnold, Missouri, Dale Wilke of Florida and Edward Wilke of Washington,
Missouri; two cousins, Wilbert Wilke of Fredericktown, Missouri and Roy
Wilke of House Springs, Missouri; special friend, Fay Chandler of Cherryville,
Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday, October 6, 2012
at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at noon on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the
Britton-Bennett Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating.
Special music of “Amazing Grace,” ‘The Old Rugged Cross” and
“When I Get Where I am Going” was played.
Committal prayer and interment were in the Freeman Cemetery at Cherryville,
Missouri.
Casket bearers were Bill Gilliam, Lawrence Lukefahr, Kelvin Wilke,
Edward Wilke and Donald Turner.
Arrangements under the direction of the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of
Steelville, Missouri.
