Dolores Ellen Bryant
Dolores Ellen Bryant nee Barnicle was born Sunday, February 6, 1938, in St.
Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Lillian Doris (Martin) Barnicle and the late
Theodore Barnicle. She entered eternal life Friday, October 3, 2003, at the
Gibbs Care Center, Steelville, Missouri, at the age of 65 years, 7 months
and 27 days.
Dolores was united in marriage to Willard C. Bryant. In addition to her
father, Theodore Barnicle, February 4, 1981, Dolores was preceded in death
by one daughter, Christine Elaine Bryant, January 5, 1993 and one brother,
James Lee Barnicle, February 19, 1954. Among those who remain to mourn her
passing are her husband, Willard Bryant of Steelville, Missouri; her mother
Lillian Barnicle; four sons, Bill Barnicle and wife Mary, Larry Hutson and
wife Oleta, Willard Alan Bryant and wife Rebecca, Bryian Bruce Bryant and
wife Wynona, and one daughter, Lori Ann Mabe, all of Steelville, Missouri;
two sisters, Helen McGruder of Steelville, Missouri, Betty Brown and husband
Dwight of Cherryville, Missouri; 14 grandchildren, one great grandson, nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. Dolores Ellen Bryant lay in state
3-8 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2003 at the Britton Brothers Funeral Home,
Steelville, Missouri.Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2003,
in the Britton Chapel with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Musical selections
were provided by Rev. Jerry Beers and Jamie Mabe. Committal prayers and
interment were in Steelville Cemetery, Steelville, Missouri. Serving as
pallbearers were Bill Barnicle, Larry Hutson, Alan Bryant, Bruce Bryant,
Christopher Bryant, Bill Leach, Larry Combs, Billy Leach. Honorary
pallbearers were Larry Harmon and Dave McGinnis. Arrangements were under the
direction of the Britton Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
