Raymond Allen Jr.
Raymond Allen Jr. of St. James, Missouri was born in Owosso,
Michigan on November 8, 1947 to Raymond Sr. and VeraBelle (Lewis)
Allen and passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Phelps
County Regional Medical Center at the age of 65 years.
Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Army.
On February 14, 1967 Raymond was united in marriage to Connie
Payne and to this union two children were born.
A member of the Anointed Faith Tabernacle Church of Cuba, Missouri,
Raymond took his faith in God and family seriously.Growing up in
Michigan, Raymond learned at an early age the beauty of the great
outdoors and the bounty of the rivers and streams, he was an avid
hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by parents, Raymond Sr. and VeraBelle
Allen; his son, Jeff Allen; infant granddaughter, Kayla; and sister,
Cheryl Coler.
He is survived by his wife Connie of the home; daughter, Rhonda
Henderson and husband David of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren,
Ashley Williams, Dakota Olten Allen, Sheylynn Campa, Austin Allen,
Jacob Allen, AttieBelle Allen, Kevin Henderson and Conri Henderson;
special friends, Steven and Maria Debord of St. James, Missouri;
lifelong friends, Howard Livermore of Carson City, Michigan and
Mike Hanke of Rolla, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held Friday, October 11, 2013 at the
Anointed Faith Tabernacle in Cuba, Missouri at 7 p.m. with Pastor
Chris Dew officiating.
Norman Gene Armstrong
Norman Gene Armstrong was born on Saturday, April 11, 1959 in Kansas
City, Missouri to John C. and Judith A. Carey Armstrong and passed
away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at MO Baptist Hospital, St. Louis,
Missouri at the age of 54 years, 5 months and 25 days.
He worked for Dana Brake Parts then later for Mar-Bal Inc. in Cuba,
Missouri.
He married Cookie Hobbs on October 3, 1998 at Maramec Spring Park in
St. James, Missouri. Norman enjoyed boating, motorcycle riding,
hunting, fishing, and having fun with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Armstrong; brother,
Albert Armstrong; infant brother, Kenneth Armstrong; and
brother-in-law, Dick Hobbs.
He is survived by his wife, Cookie Armstrong of Cuba, Missouri;
mother, Judy Armstrong of Cuba, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Jennifer
Hobbs of Kansas City, Missouri and Jill (Steven) Fouts of Hagerstown,
Indiana; aunt, Fern Green of Roads, Missouri; cousin Debbie Petrethko
of Norborne, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
A gathering of family and friends was Saturday, October 12, 2013 from
6-8 p.m. at the Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri.

Elizabeth “Nicky” J. Baker
Elizabeth “Nicky” J. Baker, nee Nicholson, of Cuba, Missouri was
born on Friday, December 11, 1942 in Maize, Kansas to Paul and
Pauline Ponath Nicholson and passed away at MO Baptist Hospital,
Sullivan, Missouri on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the age of 70
years, 9 months and 27 days.
Nicky worked as a manager for Southwestern Bell in Kansas then
transferred to St. Louis, Missouri where she retired after 30 years.
Nicky and Robert moved to Cuba and made their home for the last 20
years enjoying the country. Nicky liked to cross-stitch and
needlepoint. Robert and Nicky had been married for 46 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Pauline Nicholson.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Baker of Cuba, Missouri;
brothers, Hugh (Becky) Nicholson of Goddard, Kansas and Stephan
(Angelyn) Nicholson of Lubbock, Texas; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 10-11 a.m. and
memorial service was at 11 a.m. at the Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba,
Missouri with Rev. Marilyn Coffman officiating.

Marian Elizabeth Bartlett
Marian Elizabeth Bartlett of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of Bertrand,
Missouri, was born on November 11, 1920 in Oskaloosa, Kanasa to
Matthew and Grace Harness Rumbaugh and passed away Friday,
October 11, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Cuba, Missouri at
the age of 92 years.
On May 18, 1939, she married Bennie O’Neal Bartlett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie on August 21, 1987;
two brothers, Marlin Rumbaugh and Gordon Rumbaugh; one sister,
Juanita Hyde; and one granddaughter, Diana Shrum.
She is survived by her children, J. Carol Williams and husband Bob
of Cuba, Missouri, Kenneth Bartlett and wife Jean of Scott City,
Missouri and Julia Bartlett Loiseau of Austin, Texas; grandchildren,
Julia Harlow, Tommy Shrum, Blake Williams and Amanda Flowers (Lee),
all of Cuba, Missouri, Karen Caskey of Deep Water, Missouri, Shonna
Williams of Leasburg, Missouri, Mark Williams of St Louis, Missouri,
Angela Mooney (Tim) of Pleasant Gap, Pennsylvania, Paul Bartlett
(Amy) of Blodgett, Missouri and Amy Loiseau Cohen (Scott) of New
York City, New York; 18 great grandchildren; 10 great great grand-
children; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the
McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Missouri.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday,
October 18, 2013 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Missouri.
Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie,
Missouri.

Viola M. “Vi” Behrle
Viola M. “Vi” Behrle of Chesterfield, Missouri, formerly of Cuba,
Missouri, was born to John and Sophie (Zeller) Zick on
February 28, 1909 in Nashville, Illinois and passed away Sunday,
October 13, 2013 at Delmar Gardens West in Chesterfield, Missouri
at the age of 104 years.
Vi was united in marriage to Arthur Behrle on June 8, 1940 in
St. Louis, Missouri. They shared 39 years of marriage together.
Vi retired from Lipic Pen Manufacturing Company, St. Louis, Missouri
after many years of dedicated service and was a longtime Parishioner
of Holy Cross Catholic Church of Cuba, Missouri. She enjoyed
gardening and working in the yard, baking and spending time on her
farm in Steelville, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sophie Zick;
husband, Arthur Behrle; and one nephew, Donald Zick.
She is survived by her nephew, Arthur G. and wife Lyn Zick of
Chesterfield, Missouri; three great nephews, Robert and wife Wendy
Zick of Washington, Missouri, Stewart and wife Barbara Zick of Salt
Lake City, Utah and Douglas Zick of Wildwood, Missouri; niece-in-law,
Vickie Zick of Beaumont, Texas; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 1-2 p.m.

Robert L. Foust
Robert L. Foust of St. James, Missouri was born in St. James,
Missouri on January 3, 1941 to Ervin and Ruth (Mitchell) Foust and
passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the age of 72.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army spending
time in Germany in 1958. After returning home he went to work for the
City of St. James where he would spend the next 30 years in the Street
Department.
He married Sherry Gorman on July 16, 1966.
They loved to dance and were especially fond of the polka. They
would look forward to going out to different places to dance and
were amused that they had a following that would come out to watch
them dance.
Robert enjoyed fishing, camping and doing a little woodworking in
his shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Ruth Foust; his
wife Sherry in 2008; a son, Richard Hodge; brother, Ervin Foust Jr.;
and sister, Betty Rodgers.
He is survived by his children, Tony Foust and wife Kerri of Rolla,
Missouri and Laurie Roark of St. James, Missouri; sister, Barb Darby
and husband John of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Heather
Foust, Sherrill White, Faron Roark and Everett Roark; great grand-
children; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the
St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary, St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the
St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with Pastor Phil
Cox officiating.
Interment was at the Oak Ridge Cemetery with Joe Saunders, John
Adami, Tony Foust, Faron Roark, Dalton Roark and Everett Roark
serving as pallbearers.

Kary Lynn Kreamalmyer
Kary Lynn Kreamalmyer of Steelville, Missouri was born on
August 1, 1950 in Cherryville, Missouri to Kenneth and Audrey
Reeves Kreamalmyer and passed away at Gibbs Care Center on Sunday,
October 6, 2013 at the age of 63 years, 2 months and 5 days.
Kary graduated from Cherryville High School in 1968. She raised her
family in Bourbon Missouri and moved to Steelville, Missouri in 1987.
She worked at Brown Shoe Company for 10 years and later worked at
Gibbs Care Center for 16 years. She enjoyed gardening and mostly
spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Kreamalmyer; mother,
Audrey Reeves Abney; stepfather, Bill Abney; and nephew, James
Helmering.
She is survived by her daughters, Regina (Brian) Peak and Retisha
Richters; son Walter Richters III, all of Steelville, Missouri;
grandchildren, Hannah Peak, Gabriel Peak, Alyssa Church and Breann
Church, all of Steelville, Missouri; sister, Judy Helmering of
Steelville, Missouri; brother, Daniel (Lisa) Kreamalmyer of
Steelville, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 5-6 p.m. and memorial
service was at 6 p.m. at the Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville,
Missouri with Pastor Jerry Beers officiating.

Steelville, Missouri.
James Anthony Palazzolo
James Anthony Palazzolo of Cuba, Missouri was born to Benjamin and
Clara (Lucchesi) Palazzolo on June 10, 1911 in St. Louis, Missouri
and passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Missouri Baptist
Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 102 years.
Jim was united in marriage to Inez “Pat” Shuck on April 29, 1937
in Gary Indiana.
Jim retired as a welder from U.S. Steel Company in Gary, Indiana in
1972. He helped establish and was on the Board of Directors for
Indian Hills for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with
his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Clara Palazzolo;
wife, Inez “Pat” Palazzolo; three brothers and two sisters,
Benjamin, Jr., Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph and Samuel; two grandsons,
Jim Lindeman and Greg Kalmar.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Cookson and friend Bob
Brown and Patricia Lindeman, all of Cuba, Missouri; eight grand-
children, Mark, Steve, Jeff, Kit, Craig and Eddie Lindeman, Karen
Shamansky and Dana (Jim) Rothberg; 15 great grandchildren; six
great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Private services were held with interment at the Meramec Hills
Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

Lois Stroud
Lois Stroud of Cuba, Missouri was born December 26, 1948 at
Waynesville, Missouri to John and Loretta (nee Gittemeier) Daniel
and passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at her home in Cuba,
Missouri at the age of 64 years.
Lois was united in marriage to Henry Stroud on August 20, 1969 at
the Holy Cross Catholic Church of Cuba, Missouri and to this union
one daughter was born.
Lois worked as an inventory specialist for G&W Heel Lift Company of
Cuba for many years before she was diagnosed with cancer. Lois worked
hard, enjoyed animals and valued her friends. She owned and operated
a dog kennel for several years, but it wasn’t for the money, it was
to take care of the dogs and to help out their owners. Lois was a
life-time dedicated member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Lois was the most kind-hearted person you could ever meet and was
always helping others any way she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Loretta Daniel;
daughter, Samantha Stroud; brothers, Jim and Bob Daniel; and sister,
Jackie Edward.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Henry Stroud of the
home; two grandchildren, Alyssa Fowler and Jarret Stroud of Cuba,
Missouri; one brother, Tom Daniel of Cuba, Missouri; sisters-in-law,
Ruth Daniel of Cuba and Kathlene Gremillion of Tennessee;
brothers-in-law, Hubert Stroud of California, Douglas Stroud of
Texas, Carroll Stroud and Joe Stroud of Louisiana; best friend,
Jackie Murphy; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. at
the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri.
A “Celebration of Life” service was held at 7 p.m. on Thursday,
October 10, 2013 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba.
A Celebration of Mass was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013
with Father William Korte as celebrant.
Pallbearers were Doug, Dave, Dale, Matt, CJ and Richard.
Interment and prayers followed at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba,
Missouri.

Rosemary Margaret Tod
Rosemary Margaret Tod of Sullivan, Missouri was born on
February 26, 1929 at St. Louis, Missouri to Frank and Loraine
(Miles) Tod and passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013 at the age
of 84 years, 7 months and 11 days.
She was raised and lived in St. Louis, Missouri until coming to
Sullivan, Missouri in 1964.
Her husband Donald owned and operated an electronics and television
store for many years.
Rosemary was a devoted member of Saint Anthony Catholic Church in
Sullivan, Missouri and faithfully helped with Saint Anthony School
and all of its activities. She also helped in the kitchen with the
ladies auxiliary with the parish dinners. Rosemary was also a devout
St. Louis Cardinals fan and watched every game she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Loraine Tod;
husband, Donald in 1986; a brother, Richard King; and two sisters,
Ruth Milheiser and Frances Fundeburk.
She is survived by five sons, David Tod and wife Sheila of
Washington, Missouri, Tom Tod and wife Susan of Sullivan, Missouri,
Greg Tod of Bourbon, Missouri, Jeff Tod and wife Susie of Normal,
Illinois and Keith Tod and wife Barb of Oak Harbor, Washington; one
brother, Dan King of Cook Station, Missouri; one sister, Bernice
McCulloch of Japan, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grand-
children; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at
the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, Missouri. A mass of Christian
burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 from
Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Sullivan, Missorui with the
Rev. Father Paul Telken officiating.
Interment was in the Saint Anthony Church Cemetery.

Sullivan, Missouri.
Laurie Renee Tweedy
Laurie Renee Tweedy of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of St. Louis,
Missouri, was born to Arnold and Janet (Monear) Olson on May 2, 1963
in Fargo, North Dakota and passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at
her home at the age of 50 years.
Laurie worked in the dietary dept. at Gravois Healthcare in Fenton
for several years, before becoming disabled. She enjoyed going for
walks and helping take care of her nephews and niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Janet Olson.
She is survived by her son, Justin David Tweedy of St. Louis,
Missouri; one sister, Lisa Olson of Cuba, Missouri; one brother,
Tim Olson; nephews and niece, Kristofer, Lance, Alexander, Shawn,
Skylar, Carter, Christopher, Jr., Eric, Derek, Amanda and Joshua;
other relatives and friends.
Cremation rites were accorded, with no services planned at this time.
