Dennis R. Klaeger
Dennis R. Klaeger of Cuba, Mo. was born on January 2, 1959 at Rolla, Mo. to
the union of Eldo W. Klaeger and Irma Klaeger nee Thompson and passed away
at his home in Cuba on October 12, 2000 at the age of 41 years, 9 months
and 10 days.
On September 18, 1982 he was united in marriage to Renee Briggs. One son,
Chad, and one daughter, Nicole, was born to this union. They had been
happily married for 18 years.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father Eldo "Bud" Klaeger.
He was a life long resident of Crawford County and a member of the National
Rifle Association.
Those who survive to mourn his passing from this life are his loving wife
Renee Klaeger; son Chad Klaeger; daughter, Nicole Klaeger; mother Irma
Breedlove and husband Farrell; mother and father-in-law Everett and Myra
Briggs; one brother Robert Klaeger; two sisters Judy Halbert and husband
Russell and Jackie Hughes and husband Joe; nieces; nephews; brother and
sisters-in-law; other relatives and many friends.
Dennis was a loving husband, father, son, brother, good friend to all who
knew him and will be sadly missed.
Dennis R. Klaeger was in state at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Mo. on
Sunday, October 15, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Hannah officiating.
Internment was in the Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Mo. All memorials to
the Dennis R. Klaeger family. All arrangements under the direction of the
Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Mo.
Edith A. Koch
Edith A. Koch nee Riske was born on May 5, 1918 to the union of Louis John
Riske and Elizabeth Marie Riske nee Mueller and passed away on October 6,
2000 at Cuba, Mo. at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 1 day.
On December 3, 1939 she was united in marriage to John Edwin Koch at
Bourbon, Mo. One son, Marvin E. Koch, was born. They were happily married
until he preceded her in death on November 25, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Marvin E. Koch, one
granddaughter-in-law Julie Koch, two brothers Harry and Fred Riske, three
sisters Hilda Hardecke, Fern Simmerly and Edna Schneider.
Edith was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Cuba, Mo.
Those who survive to mourn her passing from this life are her
daughter-in-law Barbara Koch; two grandsons David Koch and wife Carla and
Steven Koch; five sisters Lydia Henning, Leona Hoehne, Alberta Heinbaugh,
Nadine Riske and Elnora Merritt; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews;
other relatives and many friends.
Edith was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, good friend
to all who knew her and will be sadly missed.
Edith A. Koch was in state at the Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Mo. where
funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 10, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. with
Rev. David Zirpel officiating. Interment was in the Mid Lawn Memorial
Gardens, Union, Mo. Memorials to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cuba, Mo.
All arrangements under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Mo.
