MO Local Obituaries for the Week of October 25, 2012 Irene Louise Bramer Irene Louise Bramer of St. James, Missouri was born April 12, 1925 at the family home in St. Louis, Missouri to Joseph and Irene Jarvis Stitz and passed away Friday October 19, 2012 at her home in St. James, Missouri at the age of 87 years, 6 months and 7 days. On April 5, 1975 in St. Louis she was united in marriage to David Bramer. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Navis Kircher, in 1994 and one brother, Fred Krause. She is survived by her husband, David Bramer of St. James, Missouri; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Bob Weekley of Imperial, Missouri and a son-in-law, Raymond Kircher of Arnold, Missouri; two grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri with Lynn Huggins officiating. Pallbearers were Ray Kircher, Bob Weekley, Mark Petot, Zack Petot, Ron Ousley and Eric Happel. Burial was in the Miles Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri. William “Bill” Wayne Huggins, Sr. William “Bill” Wayne Huggins, Sr. of Bourbon, Missouri was born Tuesday, July 9, 1935 at Shirley, Arkansas to James and Muriel (nee Williams) Huggins and passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 9 days. Bill was united in marriage to Deloris Fox on December 7, 1954 at Dupo, Illinois and to this union five children were born. Bill was the owner/operator of Sullivan Precision Metal Finishing in Sullivan, Missouri for the past 40 years. Bill was a member of the Trinity Chapel of Leasburg and he enjoyed working on his farm, taking care of the cows, riding his tractor, going to auctions, gardening, old cars and he had a collection of lots of different things. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Muriel Huggins; one sister, Eileen Blair; brother, Wendell J. Huggins; two sisters-in-law, Ida Fox and Betty Buckner and one nephew, Melvin Douglas Mannon. He is survived by his wife, Deloris Huggins of the home; five children, Deborah and husband Robert Timmons, Marsha and husband Charles Gossage, William and wife Pam Huggins, Jr., Ronald and wife Dana Huggins, all of Bourbon, Missouri and Donald Huggins of Waterloo, Illinois; one brother, James and wife Linda Huggins of Shirley, Arkansas; one sister, Linda Mannon of Bourbon, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation was Monday, October 22, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service was at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Richard Martin officiating. Special music was “What Heaven Means to Me” and “God on the Mountain” by Melissa Gallaher and Sandy Martin. Pallbearers were Chuck Gossage, Ted Timmons, Tim Erxlaven, Brandon Harness, Wendell Huggins and Greg Hyde. Interment and prayers followed at the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri. Arrangements under the direction of the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri. Geraldine “Jerry” Kelley Geraldine “Jerry” Kelley of Cuba, Missouri was born to John and Cora (Roderick) Stewart on September 22, 1926 in Springfield, Missouri and passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 at Cuba Manor at the age of 86 years. Jerry retired after 30 plus years of dedicated service from the Handicapped Organization in Wellston, Missouri as a Key Punch Secretary. She was a member of the Solid Rock Christian Church in St. James, Missouri. She enjoyed church, playing bingo, card and board games, quilting, sewing, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Cora Stewart; husband, Walter Kelley; one son, Ronnie Kelley; three sisters, Jewell Spray, Edna Akers and Marie Walsworth; one brother, Bert Stewart and one great grandchild. She is survived by her daughter, Linda and husband Don Trolinger of Cuba, Missouri; son, Michael Kelley of Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Leesa, Joshua, Shawn, Cailene and Michelle; seven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; staff and residents of Cuba Manor; other relatives and friends. As per Jerry’s request there will be no visitation. Graveside services were held on Monday, October 22, 2012 3 p.m. at Reed Cemetery in Halfway, Missouri with Pastor Jim Sutherlin, officiating. Gary Lee Mackey Gary Lee Mackey of Fort Collins, Colorado was born on Monday, January 27, 1947 in McCook, Nebraska and passed away in Cuba, Missouri on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the age of 65 years, 8 months, and 15 days. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam War. He married Vicky S. Knepper on June 5, 1971. He graduated from High School in McCook, Nebraska and completed two years of Drafting School. He was a home builder in Nebraska and Colorado for several years. He later became an over the road truck driver. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Ft. Collins, Colorado and enjoyed drag racing. He will be truly missed by his family who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, George and Minnie Mackey; brothers, George, Dale, and Bill Mackey. He is survived by his wife, Vicky S. Mackey of Ft. Collins, Colorado; son, Bryon (Jamie) Mackey; daughter, Robin (Rob Brewster) Mackey all of Wellington, Colorado; sister, Eunice Kay Ulrich of Denver, Colorado; step sisters, Marilyn Masters of Lincoln, Nebraska, Marsha (Lyle) Pholmeier of Lawrence, Nebraska, Carolyn (Jerry) Goebel of Hastings, Nebraska and Mary (Larry) Arnold of Lincoln, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Marlin D. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on November 3, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, Fort Collins, Colorado with full military honors. Arrangements under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri. Michael E. Naylor Michael E. Naylor was born May 18, 1937 and passed away October 5, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Naylor of Cuba, Missouri; daughters, Renee and Brenda DeLaRosa of Orange, California, Lori and Ed Conrekos of Whittier, California, Tammy and Augusto Ramos of Oakdale, California and Sheryl Mayer of Marshalltown, Iowa and son, Michael Naylor; six grand- children; other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be at the Cuba VFW Post on October 27, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. He is being interred at Fort Rangon National Cemetery in San Diego, California November 1, 2012. Adred Ricketts Adred Ricketts of Cape Girardeau, Missouri was born on September 13, 1921 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to James Robert and Carrie Alice (Troy) Haile and passed away at her home on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the age of 91 years and 28 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Carrie Haile and her husband, John Kenneth Ricketts on July 19, 1993. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Haile Ricketts and wife Deberha of Rolla, Missouri and Roger Howard Ricketts and wife Rosemary of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and one daughter, Alice Lynn Propst and husband Billy of Gordonville, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
