Stanley "Ken" Kenneth Calloway Stanley "Ken" Kenneth Calloway of St. James, Missouri was born on December 29, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to Arlis and Rose (Hussian) Calloway and passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the age of 66 years. Ken proudly served is Country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Rebie Bargery in March of 1981. Rebie passed away in 2005. On September 16, 2006 Ken married Linda Faries. Ken worked for Lowes Home Improvement for over 19 years serving as store manager in Rolla, Missouri and traveling the state helping to open new stores. After he "retired" he took a co-manager position. He loved firearms and was a lifetime member and certified trainer of the NRA. He also taught conceal and carry classes, and was just recently certified to teach Hunter Safety classes. Ken also did a lot of volunteer and charity work, he was such a people person and would give you anything he had if you were in need. Joyce grew up to be a very family oriented and charitable person. She met her future husband at Meramec Caverns and at age 20, she was united in marriage to John Campbell in Sullivan, Missouri. Joyce became a christian at an early age. For 50 years, she was a faithful member of the Bourbon/Sullivan Seventh Day Adventist Churches. Joyce was a full-time homemaker. For 17 years, Joyce volunteered for the Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Ladies Auxiliary; which she enjoyed very much. She also enjoyed reading and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Nellie (Edwards) McEuen and two sisters, JoAnn Declue and Shirley McEuen. After being raised in England, Maureen moved to the United States in 1962. She resided in the Sullivan/Bourbon area. Maureen was united in marriage to Ronald Cios on November 5, 1976 in Sullivan, Missouri. In 1977 she moved to Utah and lived there for many years. She worked as a clerk for 7-11 and Chevron and trained many people there. She loved her four dogs: Tink, Fred, Tootsie and grand-dog Sam. Maureen enjoyed yard sailing and attending auctions. Elgie "Gene" Eugene Gowers Elgie "Gene" Eugene Gowers of Steelville, Missouri was born anuary 23, 1951 at Berryman, Missouri and passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 in St. Louis at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 19 days. Gene served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was an artist of music and acting. In his earlier years, he was a musician in Nashville, playing country, bluegrass and g ospel. He wrote songs and loved to sing. In three different years, he acted in the "Mask" in St. Louis, Missouri. He helped in the pit playing his guitar for his nephew's class in St. Louis for the play "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat." He also loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinals and work around the lake at his home. She loved quilting, baking and spending time with her family and friends. Mason of Sullivan, Missouri was born on July 3, 1925 to Robert W. and Anna L. (Mundy) Scott in Cuba, Missouri and passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the age of 92 years. She grew up and attended school in Cuba and went on to further her education at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO where she obtained her Master's Degree in teaching. On July 14, 1949, Roberta married John Mason Sr. and they made their home in Sullivan, Missouri. She was a lifelong educator; teaching at Sunnyside Country School, Sullivan School District and Special School District of St. Louis, Missouri. She retired from Special School District in 1983. Roberta loved golf and was a member of the Sullivan Country Club; she even hit "a hole in one." She also found pleasure in camping and traveling. Roberta was very active in her community; she was a member of Temple Baptist Church for many years. She was also a member of the Firettes (a group for firemen's wives) for 50 years, as well as the Order of Eastern Star in Sullivan, Chapter No. 105. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Mason Sr.; parents, Robert and Anna Scott; three siblings, James E. Scott, Joseph T. Scott and Birdie Lou Halbert; and daughter-in-law, Penny Jo (Heuer) Mason.
