Deborah C. Boldt
Deborah C. “Debbie” Boldt of Cuba, Missouri was born on August 22, 1954 in
Pocahontas, Arkansas and passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 in Rolla,
Missouri at the age of 56 years.
Debbie worked for Mace’s Supermarket in Cuba as a Cashier. She was a people
person and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her dog Cheeco.
She is survived by three children, David Jones of Bonaire, Georgia, Dawn
Boldt of Forsyth, Georgia, Shane Boldt of Rolla, Missouri; parents, James W.
and Maxine Sturgell, Sr. of Cuba, Missouri; three grandchildren, Charles
Wesley White of Cuba, Missouri, Keyla Boldt of Forsyth, Georgia, Ashton
Boldt of Rolla, Missouri; one sister, Barb and husband Fred White of Cuba,
Missouri; two step-brothers, James W. and wife Maggie Sturgell, Jr. of
Affton, Missouri, Bruce G. Sturgell of Hillsboro, Missouri; other relatives
and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 25, 2010 from 5 p.m. until time of
service at 7 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri with Pastor
Joe Bruno, officiating. Cremation followed.
Arrangements under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba,
Missouri.
Dale Elna Belflower
Dale Elna Belflower was born July 18, 1911 at Jack, Missouri and passed
away October 14, 2010 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 99 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salem and the Salem Avenue
Baptist Church in Rolla. She enjoyed painting, playing the piano, helping
other people, and sewing and making her own things.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper Monroe and Geneva Mae
(Brigman) Robnett; her husbands, Arley Casey, Don Bruner and Robert
Belflower; one son, Forrest Casey; one great grandson, Blake Fulton and
great great granddaughter, Emma Casey.
She is survived by one daughter, Loreita Fulton of Rolla, Missouri; one
sister, Vivian Liddell of Affton, Missouri; six grandchildren, Mark Fulton
and wife Kimberly of Yardley, Pennsylvania, Michael Fulton and wife Cathy
of Tucumcari, New Mexico, Judy Cartwright and husband Dan of Anutt,
Missouri, Darsi Hammack and husband Rodney of Salem, Missouri, Babette
Wells and husband Bob of Salem, Missouri and Suzette Stephens of St. James,
Missouri; seven great grandchildren, Sean Cartwright and wife Kim of Rolla,
Missouri, Angie Arthur and Dewayne of Salem, Missouri, Eric Casey of
Sullivan, Missouri, Nicole Lizotte of St. James, Missouri, Jennifer Bass
and husband Jason of Salem, Missouri, Jessica Nash of Springfield, Missouri
and Shane Fulton of New Orleans, Louisiana; nine great great grandchildren,
Dakota, Beau, and Mercedes Cartwright, Dillon and Justin Arthur, Makayla
Ford, Jerrison Lizotte, Genna Casey and Addison Bass.
Funeral service was October 18, 2010 at Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with
Bro. Norman Cartwright and Bro. Mark Johnson officiating. Lisa Wulff,
Allyson Johnson and Kathy Brandt provided the music.
Pallbearers were Bob Wells, Rodney Hammack, Don Light, Kenny Robnett,
Brad Robnett and Jeff Robnett.
Interment was in the Dry Fork Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the Wilson Mortuary.
James Ottis Devall
James Ottis Devall, of Salem, Missouri, passed away October 13, 2010 at
Salem, Missouri at the age of 84 years.
He is survived by six children, Joe Devall and wife Darlene of Salem,
Missouri, Carol Harrison of St. James, Missouri, Marilyn Houser and
husband Raymond of St. James, Missouri, Frank Devall and wife Doris of
Arizona, Annell Hounshell and husband Brian of Arizona and Danny Devall
and wife Julie of Arizona; two sisters, Nancy Lou Walton of Mississippi
and Martha Rae of Louisiana; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren;
other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Thursday, October 21, 2010 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem
Chapel from 12 to 1 p.m.
Funeral service was Thursday, October 21, 2010 in the Wilson Mortuary
Salem Chapel at 1 p.m.
Interment was in the Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery with full military honors.

Cindy Dickens
Cindy Dickens nee McGauly of Cuba, Missouri was born on Friday,
March 3, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri to Henry Charles McGauly, Jr. and
Sandra Sue Eisenhauer McGauly and passed away on Monday, October 18, 2010
in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 49 years, 7 months and 15 days.
Cynthia married Ronald D. Dickens on June 24, 1978 at Freewill Baptist
Church, Cuba, Missouri and to this union two children were born.
She recently had been employed as manager at Smoker’s Express in Cuba,
Missouri. Her hobbies were cooking, fishing and especially an avid fan
of the St. Louis Cardinals ball team. She loved her family very much and
enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oliver (Sophronia)
Eisenhauer and Henry Charles (Ann) McGauly and brother Michael Joseph
McGauly.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald D. Dickens of Cuba, Missouri; son,
Joshua Dickens and fiancée Sarah Conduitt; daughter, Jamie Dickens and
fiance Chris Berry, all of Cuba, Missouri; father, Henry Charles McGauly
of Steelville, Missouri; mother, Sandra Sue Simpson of Cuba, Missouri;
brother, Henry Charles (Cheryl) McGauly III of Imperial, Missouri;
sisters, Laura Lynn (Jeff) Murray and Tammy Renee (Darren) Dake, all of
Cuba, Missouri; parents-in-law, Paul and Geraldine Dickens;
brother-in-law, Roger (Frankie) Dickens; sister-in-law, Julie (Allen)
Farrar, all of Cuba, Missouri; six grandchildren; other relatives and
friends. Visitation was Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. and
funeral service was Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Hutson
Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri with Bro. Cletus Nichols officiating.
Burial was at the Dickens Hill Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

Robert Enloe
Robert J. Enloe of Columbia, Missouri was born November 15, 1937 in Cuba,
Missouri to Frank M. and Opal Hoover Enloe and passed away Sunday,
October 17, 2010 at the age of 72 years.
He married Mary Collier on June 14, 1958 in Owensville, Missouri.
He worked for General Motors at the Corvette plant in Bowling Green,
Kentucky. After his retirement he moved to Ocala, Florida where he lived
for eight years. He was saved in 1949 and was a member of the Faith
Baptist Church. He was a member of Local 25 of the United Auto Workers.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one son, Robert J. and wife Shari Enloe,
Jr.; one daughter, Cathrine McLean; one sister, Doris Collier; five
grandchildren, Chris and wife Angie Enloe, Daniel and wife Tara Canady,
Christine, Stephanie and Stephen McLean; three great grandchildren, Aiden
and Danali Canaday and Evan Enloe; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
James and Wilma Stevenson, Don Collier, Ron and Billy Collier, Enola
Collier and Donna Enloe; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the Faith Baptist Church,
Columbia, Missouri from 3 p.m. until time of service.
Funeral service was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the
Faith Baptist Church, Columbia, Missouri.

Bryon Grant Fox
Bryon Grant Fox was born on April 22, 1954 to James Erwin and Alfa Hatch
Fox in Whittier, California and passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 at
his home in St. James, Missouri.
He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps in the Vietnam War
and remained always faithful. He received a Bachelor’s degree in
communications from Brigham Young University.
He was a skilled craftsman and woodworker who enjoyed working with his
hands and the satisfaction of a job well done. He was a carpenter, general
contractor and truck driver until illness forced his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Erwin Fox; mother, Alfa Fox
and a sister, Frankie Biberston.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Pamela Jean Bixby Fox; daughters,
Melinda (Russell, Capt. US Army) Lehman, Marianne and Emma; his three
older children, James Lewis (Jolene) Fox, Angela (Eric) Romney and Nathan
Fox; their mother, Earlene Marcee Lewis-Terry; four grandchildren, Ethan,
Ammon, Xander and Rowan Romney; four brothers, James Erwin (Jean) Fox,
Duane (Nelda) Fox, Forrest Lynn (Jill) Fox and Thomas Fox; two sisters,
Mavis (John) Lacio and Kathy (Dale) Johnson; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Sunday, October 23, 2010 from 3-5 p.m. at the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel in Rolla, Missouri with a funeral
service following at 5 p.m.
Interment was at the Bluffdale City Cemetery, Utah.

Eola M. Fox
Eola M. Fox of Cuba, Missouri, was born to John G. and Ida (Voss) Fox on
Friday, September 29, 1916, in Cuba, Missouri, and passed away Monday,
October 18, 2010, in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 94 years and 19 days.
Eola lived in Branson, Missouri, for over 35 years having owned and
operated Eola’s Card and Gift Store, Dillon & Fox Men’s Clothing Store
and a Missouri State License Bureau Office for 16 years. She was a member
of the First Presbyterian Church of Cuba and a lifetime member of the Cuba
Chapter O.E.S. In her spare time she enjoyed embroidery work and in her
younger years fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ida Fox; step-mother,
Hannah Rodgers-Fox; two sisters, Arlene Krewson and Ethel Stein and one
brother, Irvin Fox.
She is survived by one niece, Donna and husband Ken Bodart of Eureka,
Missouri; two nephews, Harold Stein of Ballwin, Missouri, Donald and wife
Helen Stein of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 22, 2010 from 1 p.m. until time of
service at 3 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Pat
Gruber, officiating.
Interment followed at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

Marie E. Geller
Marie E. Geller of Cuba, Missouri was born Friday, May 28, 1920 at Cuba,
Missouri to William and Pearl (nee Martin) Turnbough and passed away
Friday, October 22, 2010 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 90 years,
4 months and 25 days.
Marie was united in marriage to Harvey Geller on April 1, 1943 and to
this union three children were born. Marie worked from the 1950’s
till the 1960’s at the shoe factory. Marie enjoyed fishing, hunting,
camping on the river bank, being outside, and in her older years
quilting, crocheting and embroidering. What she always enjoyed most
was spending time playing games outside with her children and grandchildren.
She was a member of the Covenant Praise Church of God for 46 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Turnbough;
husband, Harvey Geller; son, Richard D. Geller; brothers, Cletis and Earl
Turnbough; sister, Gladys Parsons; son-in-law, Howard Monda; other relatives
and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Jean Monda and Linda and husband
Bill Gunn all of Cuba, Missouri; two brothers, Delbert and wife Sharon
Turnbough of Cuba, Missouri and Ercie and wife Donna Turnbough of St. James,
Missouri; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, one great great
granddaughter, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 4-7 p.m. at Britton Funeral
Home of Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the
Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Mark Smith and
Bro. Windell Starnes officiating. Special music was “I’ll Fly Away,”
“What a Day That Will Be” and “Oh I Want to See Him.”
Interment and prayers followed at the Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba,
Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba,
Missouri.
Mary E. Griffin
Mary E. Griffin of St James, Missouri was born to David V. and Dolly
(Pendelton) Orick on August 18, 1931 in Tazewell, Tennessee and passed
away Friday, October 22, 2010 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 79 years.
Mary was united in marriage to Paul E. Griffin on April 19, 1947 in
Piggott, Arkansas and to this union one daughter was born.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed oil painting, writing poetry, cooking,
puzzles, sewing, crafts and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David V. and Dolly Orick;
husband, Paul E. Griffin; one sister, Gladys Orton; five brothers, Bay,
Herbert, Glen, James and Ray Orick.
She is survived by her daughter, Lana and husband Ron Taylor of
St. James, Missouri; two grandchildren, Michele and husband Kent Sbabo
of St. James, Missouri and Griffin and wife Melissa Taylor of Cuba,
Missouri; five great grandchildren, Bethany and Alec Sbabo, Paul, Gwen and
Arwen Taylor; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Britton
Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at
Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. Interment followed at Kinder
Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

Madge F. Turnbull
Madge F. Turnbull of Sullivan, Missouri was born on June 24, 1911 in rural
Sullivan, Missouri to William E. and Bertha Ann (Campbell) Stroup and
passed away at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital on Thursday,
October 21, 2010 at the age of 99 years.
She had lived the majority of her life in the Sullivan area.
On July 23, 1929 was married to Ralph J. Turnbull at Fort Worth, Texas.
Madge was self-employed for a time; owning a restaurant. She was later
employed at International Shoe Company in Sullivan until it closed and
then worked at International Shoe branches in St. Clair and Union,
Missouri. She later worked in the food services department at Missouri
Baptist Hospital in Sullivan.
She was a faithful member of New Testament Baptist Church of Sullivan
and enjoyed quilting with various church groups. She also enjoyed
gardening and canning, cooking, (especially pies and bread) and
fishing and camping.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; three grandsons,
Darryl J. Miller, Vernon Politte and Joel Miller; two sons-in-law, John
Siebeman and Robert Miller; six brothers, Charles, Ernest, Albert, Howard,
William and Clifford Stroup; two sisters, Ruth Immekus, Rachel Thatcher;
half brother, Jess Stroup; half sister, Mary Farris; half sister-in-law,
Helen Stroup and half brother-in-law, Gene Miller.
She is survived by a son, Louis Turnbull and wife Gerry of Mascoutah,
Illinois; three daughters, Anna Lea Siebeman of St. Louis, Missouri,
Shirley Politte and husband Winford of Sullivan and Mary Miller of
Sullivan; one half brother, Woodrow Stroup of Bourbon, Missouri; one
half sister, Martha Miller of Bourbon; 10 grandchildren; 24 great
grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010
from the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Charles
Idelman officiating.
Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan,
Missouri.
