Nadene Blair
Nadene Blair, nee Turnbough, of Potosi, Missouri was born on Tuesday,
June 15, 1926 in Courtois, Missouri to John E. Turnbough and Nettie Thomas
Turnbough. She passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the age of 82
years, 4 months, and 8 days.
Nadene married Winifred Blair on December 31, 1947 in Potosi, Missouri and
to this union two children were born.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, flowers, her
family, and her grandchildren. Nadene accepted the Lord early in life and
was a member of the Bethel Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Harold Turnbough;
sister, Hilma and husband Paul Thompson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Carol Blair, Clarence Summers, Minnie and Troy Mincher, Lynwood and Francis
Blair, Glen and Ethel Blair, and Hazel and Earl Reather.
She is survived by her children Bill (Brenda) Blair of Potosi, Missouri and
Norris (LaDonna) Blair of Bismarck, Missouri; grandchildren Carey (Chuck)
Rulo of Potosi, Missouri, Trenton (Sandy) Blair of Jefferson City, Missouri,
and Brian (Kate) Blair of Glouster, Ohio; four great grandchildren;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Leon (Nelda) Blair and Ross (Betty) Blair,
all of Potosi, Missouri, Leo (Pat) Blair of Hillsboro, Missouri, Jewell Blair
of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Geneva (Sonny) Thurmond of Ironton, Missouri, Anna
(Elmo) Quinn of St. Louis, Missouri, Erma Summers of High Ridge, Missouri and
Minnie Turnbough of St. Louis, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 5-9 p.m. at the Hutson Funeral
Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral service was 11 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2008 at Hutson Funeral Chapel
in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. David Hopkins officiating. Burial at Czar
Cemetery, Viburnum, Missouri.
All arrangements under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville,
Missouri.
Doris Irene Coffel
Doris Irene Coffel nee Keller of St. Louis, Missouri formerly of Bourbon,
Missouri was born on Monday, August 29, 1927 to Harry P. Keller, Sr. and
Helen E. Strobl Keller in St. Louis, Missouri. She passed away on Saturday,
October 25, 2008 at the age of 81 years, 1 month, and 26 days.
Doris married James Coffel in Bourbon, Missouri on November 13, 1976.
She was formerly employed at Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. as a clerk/typist
for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Harry Keller, Jr.;
and sister, Ethel Calcagno.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie and husband Jerry Pisarek of St. Louis,
Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, October 28, 2008 from 10:30 a.m.-noon and funeral at
noon at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Cuba, Missouri with Rev. Jeff Schanbacher
officiating.
Burial at Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri.

Mildred I. “Babe” Holler
Mildred I. “Babe” Holler of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Elmer and
Esther (Gudermuth) Koch on December 4, 1917 in Allenton, Missouri and passed
away Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 90 years,
10 months and 21 days.
Babe was a homemaker and an animal lover, she especially enjoyed her dogs and
cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Walter Ferrell,
Howard Flippo and Charlie Holler; other relatives and friends.
She is survived by her son, Donald and wife Ileta Ferrell of Cuba, Missouri;
daughter, Sandra and husband Tommy Brooks of Pacific, Missouri; two sisters,
Shirley and husband Emmett Skinner of Cuba, Missouri, Dolores and husband
Virgil Sorth of Cuba, Missouri; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren,
her extended family at Cuba Manor; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2008 5-8 p.m. at Britton
Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral will be Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Britton Funeral
Home with Pastor Jeff Schanbacher, officiating.
Interment in Our Redeemer Cemetery, Affton, Missouri on Thursday,
October 30, 2008 at 1:30 p.m.
Arrangements under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba,
Missouri.
Brian Lee Lorenz
Brian Lee Lorenz of Cuba, Missouri was born Wednesday, January 15, 1986 at
St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Randy Hodges and Darlene Lorenz and passed
away Monday, October 13, 2008 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 22 years,
8 months and 29 days.
Brian was a machine operator for American Precision Die Casting, Cuba. In his
spare time he enjoyed fishing, wrestling, dancing, playing pool and 4-wheelers
but what was most important to him was his beautiful daughters, his family and
friends and spending time with them.
He was preceded by his grandparents, Leonard Hodges, Ida Corrine Wilson and
Fredrick R. Lorenz; two uncles, Lancer Hodges and Daniel Lorenz; one nephew,
Drake Fey; other relatives and friends.
He is survived by his parents of Cuba, Missouri; two daughters, Kaylee and
Megan Lorenz of Cuba, Missouri; two brothers, Randy Scott Hodges, Jr. of
Fulton, Missouri and Scott Bradley Lorenz and Mandy Killeen of Cuba, Missouri;
one sister, Stephanie Renee Lorenz and Mike Fey of Cuba, Missouri; one niece,
Isabell Ijames; three nephews, Ayden Lorenz, Naythan and Blaze Fey; aunts and
uncles, Steve and Sandy Hodges of Cuba, Missouri, David and Anna Lorenz of
Kirkwood, Missouri, Kathy and Tony Coleman of Leasburg, Missouri, Tina Hopkins
of Steelville, Missouri, Linda McKinney of Arkansas, Debbie and Frank Miner of
Kansas City, Missouri, Dawn Baker of Dixon, Daril Lee of Pacific, Missouri,
Dora Klinkie of Minnesota and Donna Hammons of Eureka, Missouri; other
relatives and friends.
Graveside service was at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 15 at Delhi Cemetery, Cuba,
Missouri.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home, Cuba,
Missouri.
Doris Jean Troutt
Doris Jean Troutt of Steelville, Missouri was born August 31, 1930 in Potosi,
Missouri to Jesse and Allie Viola (Clonts) Eaton and passed away Saturday,
October 25, 2008 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at
the age of 78 years.
On January 29, 1949 she was united in marriage to Joseph Clive Troutt who
preceded her in death on November 26, 2007.
Doris was a long-time member of the Dillard Homemakers Extension Club. She
was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bourbon and had attended the
Freewill Baptist Church in Viburnum and the First Assembly of God Church in
Steelville, Missouri.
She loved to read, crochet and piece quilting. Most of all she loved to cook
for her large family and take care of them. For many years, Doris would be by
the side of her husband, whether it was hunting, fishing or enjoying a boat
ride down the river.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Jesse Edward
Eaton Jr. and Charles Eaton; two sisters, Velma Rustich and Lorraine Carmack;
four brothers-in-law, Frank Rustich, Roy Carmack, Leland Higgins and Homer
Allison.
She is survived by three sons, Joe Troutt and wife Kathy of St. James,
Missouri, Vick Troutt and wife Loretta and Jon Troutt and wife Karen, all of
Steelville, Missouri; three daughters, Judy Bell of Cherryville, Missouri,
Janet West and husband Steve and Nancy Halbert and husband Draton, all of
Steelville, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Kimberly McMillen and husband Jeff,
Chris Troutt and wife Robin, Laura Turner and husband Preston, Jonny Troutt
and wife Tiffany, Jason Troutt and wife Clarissa, Justin Troutt, Susan Bunch
and husband John, Peggy Adams and husband Jon and Lucas Halbert and companion
Amanda; two step grandchildren, Jason West and wife Debby and Drew West and
wife Erin; 17 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister,
Joyce Crisp of San Diego, California; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the First
Assembly of God Church in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Jerry Beers and Rev.
Larry Allison officiating. Special music of “Amazing Grace” and “The Old Rugged
Cross” were sung by Rev. Jerry Beers. Special memories were shared by Judy
Bell.
Casket bearers were her children, Joe Troutt, Judy Bell, Vick Troutt, Jon
Troutt, Janet West and Nancy Halbert. Committal prayer and burial were in the
Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery at Leasburg, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of
Steelville, Missouri.
