Clark M. Harmon
Clark M. Harmon of Salem, Missouri was born December 10, 1927 in Dent
County, Missouri to Lester and Alma Matlock Harmon and passed away
Saturday, October 20, 2012 at his home at the age of 84 years.
He was united in marriage to Mary Privett.
Clark served his country honorably during WWII in the U.S. Army. He was
a member of the Corinth Baptist Church of Salem. He enjoyed riding horses,
reading westerns and having a good cigar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Alma Harmon; one
son, Donald Harmon; one daughter, Vicki Stubbs; two brothers,
James M. Harmon and infant Wayne Lee Harmon; and two sisters,
Charlotte Harmon and Glenna Pitts.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Harmon of Salem, Missouri; two sons
Steve Harmon and wife Martha of Steelville, Missouri and Jeff Harmon of
Humansville, Missouri; two daughters, Meredith Sapaugh and husband Eldon
of Salem, Missouri and Pat Brand and husband Earl of Steelville,
Missouri; daughter-in-law, Jane Harmon of Steelville, Missouri; special
son, Cliff Hewitt of Humansville, Missouri; one brother, Winfred Harmon
and wife Jean of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Eva Privett and husband
Bill of Salem, Missouri; brother-in-law, James Privett and wife Marge
of Salem, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Annette Cobb of Moberly, Missouri,
Joan Minn of Ruston, Louisiana, Bess Hayward and husband Bill of Kansas
City, Missouri, Geneva Keith of Troy, Missouri and Linda Hillemeyer and
husband Dan of Tennesse; 13 grandchildren, Stephen (Tonya) Sapaugh,
Ellen (Todd) Barnett, Russell (Marcia) Brand, Renee’ (Chuck) Overton,
Rodney Brand, Robert (Erin) Harmon, Donald (Susie) Harmon, Stanley Clark
Harmon, Mark Harmon, Mary (Jon) Kinnamore, Andrew J. Stubbs, Eva Harmon
and Steven B. (Shalaine) Harmon; 22 great grandchildren; other relatives
and friends.
Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Britton-
Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2012
at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating.
Special music of “Across the Stars” was played by great granddaughter,
Leia Barnett. Other music of “Daddy’s Hands,” “Bring My Children Home”
and “Go Rest High” was also played.
Committal prayer and interment were in the Pleasant Point Cemetery in
Steel
ville, Missouri.
Casket bearers were Eldon Sapaugh, Stephen Sapaugh, Donnie Harmon,
Robert Harmon, Steven Harmon, Russell Brand and Rodney Brand.

Dennis Wayne Lee
Dennis Wayne Lee of Wentzville, Missouri was born June 25, 1944 at
Berryman, Missouri to Walter and Laura (nee Stahl) Lee and passed away
Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 68 years,
3 months and 29 days.
Dennis worked as a truck driver for the Teamsters Local #600 in St. Louis
for 40+ years before retiring in 2003. He enjoyed auto racing, fishing,
St. Louis Cardinal Baseball, traveling, collecting antiques, was a true
history buff and was always trying to help others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Laura Lee; one sister,
June and husband Melvin Garrison; and brother-in-law, Don Yoakum
The is survived by his children, Chad Johnson of Port Saint Lucie,
Florida, Amber Lee of O’Fallon, Missouri and Lori and husband Travis
Hedrick of St. Charles, Missouri; special friend and former wife of 26
years, Karen Lee of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; three grandchildren,
Dallas Johnson, Braeden Wellinghoff and Ayla Hedrick; two brothers, Walter
and wife Joyce Lee of Cuba, Missouri and Jim and wife Joyce Lee of Cuba,
Missouri; three sisters, Norma Yoakum of Villa Ridge, Missouri, Betty and
husband Lindell Staples of Cuba, Missouri and Marian and husband Allan
Bruton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; like a brother, John “JD” and wife Arlene Barnes
of Farmington, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the Mizell
Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Mizell
Funeral Home with David “Sonny” Bates officiating.
Special music was “Go Rest High on that Mountain,” “People Are Crazy,”
“Family Traditions” and “Always on My Mind.”
Interment and prayers followed at the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba,
Missouri.
Frankie Ray Odam
Frankie Ray Odam of Cuba, Missouri was born to Frank and Shirley (Davis)
Odam on February 8, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away Monday,
October 22, 2012 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri
at the age of 57 years
Frankie was a retired heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing,
hunting, horses and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Shirley (Davis) Odam.
He is survived by his wife, Bridget Lynn Odam (nee Colbert) of Cuba,
Missouri; four children, Neily and husband Terry West of Bourbon,
Missouri, Nicki and husband Shane Burns of Leasburg, Missouri, Frankie
Ray Odam, Jr. of Casselberry, Florida and Cassandra Sue Odam of
Casselberry, Florida; five grandchildren, Titus and Chase Burns, Truman,
Carter and Isabella West; two sisters, Pamela Weber of Arnold, Missouri
and Heidi Cluck of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; one brother, James Dean Capps of
Florida; step-mother, Norma Odam of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; other relatives
and friends.
Memorial visitation was held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 5 p.m. until
time of Memorial service at 7 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor
Norman Heironimus, officiating.

Missouri.
Barbara Pierce
Barbara Pierce of St. James, Missouri was born in Chicago, Illinois on
June 1, 1942 to Alfred and Catherine (Thielen) Addison and passed away
October 22, 2012 at home at the age of 70 years.
Barbara lived in St. James for the last few years with her sister and
brother-in-law, Betty and John Sturm. She enjoyed watching the food-
network and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Catherine Addison.
She is survived by her children, Lori Tesson of Anaheim, California; son,
Craig Tesson of Mesa, Arizonia; grandchildren, Kristen King of Las Vegas,
Nevada, Courtney and Amy Hawkins of Anaheim, California, Derrick and
Justin Tesson of Mesa, Arizona; great granddaughters, Alyssa and Sadie
King of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Betty Sturm and husband John of
St. James, Missouri; brothers, Robert Addison and wife Carla of Cuba,
Missouri and James Addison and wife Vickie of High Ridge, Missouri;
other relatives and friends.
Services were private.

Letha Mae Roberts
Letha Mae Roberts nee Hart of Cherryville, Missouri was born on Monday,
October 3, 1938 in St. James, Missouri to Mansel and Ruby Mae Miller Hart
and passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the age of 74 years and
25 days.
She married Melvin Dewane Roberts on May 26, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri
and to this union three children were born.
Letha was a member of Trinity Chapel in Leasburg, Missouri. She was
excellent in quilting and sewing. She had her own quilting business and
also, worked many years as a seamstress at Paramount Cap Factory in
Bourbon, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening and raising farm animals,
especially baby chicks. At one time, she operated snow cone and cotton
candy concession stands with her daughter Gayle.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mansel Hart; daughter, Gayle
Lambert; brothers-in-law, Jerry Malin, Harold (Bernice) Roberts, Sanford
Leroy (Shirley) Roberts, Lee Roberts, and Arnold Gene Roberts.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Roberts of Cherryville, Missouri;
mother, Ruby Miller of Steelville, Missouri; children, Dean (Leigh)
Roberts of Plantation, Florida and Joe (Carolyn) Roberts of St. James,
Missouri; sister, Shirley Malin of St. Clair, Missouri, son-in-law, Randy
Bell of Cherryville, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Darlene (Jimmy)
Kokenberger of Pittsburgh, Pennyslvania and Myrna Roberts of Belle,
Missouri; grandchildren, Krissa Lambert of Florissant, Missouri, Jordyn
(Gary) Lundy of Los Angeles, California, Adam (Amanda) Roberts of
Plantation, Florida, Joseph Roberts of Hollywood, Florida and Jesse
Roberts of St. James, Missouri; three great grandchildren; other
relatives and friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. and funeral service
was Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Hutson Funeral Home,
Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Richard Martin officiating.
Burial was at the Cherryville Baptist Cemetery, Cherryville, Missouri.

Missouri.
Edith Virginia Schroeder
Edith Virginia Schroeder of Cook Station, Missouri was born in Cook Station
to Earnest and Julia (Hurt) Henry on March 15, 1940 and passed away
Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 72 years.
Edith was united in marriage to Otto Lee Schroeder and to this union five
children were born.
Edith was a loving and devoted mother to her family and was a mom who
stayed home and had fresh cookies or brownies baked when the children got
home from school. Edith had a strong faith and a loyal belief in God,
reading her bible and sharing her faith was an important part of her life.
She enjoyed going to the river, fishing, playing board games, and going on
car trips. She loved to garden either flowers or vegetables it didn’t matter
as long as she could be outside with her hands in the dirt. She was a very
generous with the bounty that the garden bore and would give to family and
friends proudly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earrnest and Julia Henry; husband,
Otto Lee Schroeder; two sons, Andrew and Earnest Schroeder; and her partner
of 27 years, Harvey Chandler.
She is survived by her children, Edward Schroeder of St. James, Missouri,
Edith Mabe and husband Joe of Steelville, Missouri, Julie Brand and friend
Joe DeLisle of Vichy, Missouri; step-children, Michael Chandler and wife
Dawn of St. James, Missouri, Patricia George of Salem, Missouri; brothers,
Joseph Henry and wife Betty of Clovis, California, Louis Henry Sr. of Cook
Station, Missouri, Bill Henry of Cook Station, Missouri and Darrel Henry
and wife Sharon of St. James, Missouri; sisters, Norma Ruth Hart and husband
Harold of St. James, Missouri and Rebecca Bradham of St. Louis, Missouri;
10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 26, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the
St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with Pastor Stephen Brubaker
officiating.
Interment was in the Carr Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Edward Schroeder, Joe Delisle, Joe Mabe, Andrew Schroeder,
Bryan Schroeder and Gayle Huffman.
Arrangements under the direction of the James & Gahr Mortuary.
Billy Gene White
Billy Gene White, Sr. of Paragould, Arkansas passed away Wednesday,
October 24, 2012 at his residence at the age of 82 years.
Billy Gene spent his life doing what he loved, which was teaching children.
He was a superintendent, principal and teacher.
Billy Gene started teaching in Arkansas in 1960. He moved to Missouri in
1964 and continued teaching until he retired from Cuba Schools in 1996 with
40 plus years teaching. He continued teaching as a substitute teacher
until 2003 when he and Sarah moved back to their farm in Paragould,
Arkansas.
Billy Gene served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He loved the Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church in Paragould.
He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge as a 32-Degree Mason. He was a
Past Master of Cuba Masonic Lodge #312 and was a lifetime member of the
Paragould Masonic Lodge #398. He was a member of Paragould Chapter, which
joined with Olive Chapter #147, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gene W. and Mildred Martha Peery
White
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sarah Elizabeth; children,
Timothy Gene (wife Helen) and James Edwin; grandchildren, Billy Gene II
(fianceé Amber), Timothy Gene Rivera II and Sarah Elizabeth II; great
grandchildren, Kileigh Mischelle and Taylor Jade; brother, Jimmy Tom (wife
Mary Jane); other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Friday, October 26, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at the Heath Funeral
Home Paragould, Arkansas.
Funeral services were Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Heath
Colonial chapel with Rev. Jason Treadaway officiating.
Burial followed in the Campground Methodist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the Heath Funeral Home, Paragould,
Arkansas.
Grace Wood
Grace Wood formerly of St. James, Missouri was born in Meridian,
Mississippi on January 18, 1920 to Edward and Edna (Alexander) Bond and
passed away October 25, 2012 at the Rolla Manor at the age of 92 years.
Grace was united in marriage to Austin Wood on January 20, 1940 and to this
union one son was born.
Grace was very devoted to her family. Her husband Austin traveled the
country with his band - Austin Wood and his Missouri Swingsters. As
successful as he was it was Grace who was always there encouraging him.
Austin was legally blind so Grace was his right hand person leading the
way.
Grace was a very active member of the First Church of God in St. James,
Missouri where she taught Sunday school, organized the church dinners, and
sang in the choir. She also worked as a telephone operator and a motel
desk clerk. She lived a full life and was very giving of her time to
others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Edna Bond; her son,
Jony Austin Wood in 1955 and husband, Austin Wood in 1967.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Anita and Lee Clover, John Henry
Hoffmeister and Harold and Bonnie Hoffmeister; special friends, Vernita
Morris and family and June Huster and family; other relatives and
friends.
A private graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
