Paul worked many years for Boeing Corporation (formerly McDonnell Douglas Aerospace Manufacturing) and retired six years ago as an Aircraft Inspector. He married Mary Jo Bohmer on June 4, 1978 in St. Louis, Missouri. He previously attended Living Word Church, Leasburg, Missouri. Paul traveled a great deal with his work and even lived in Saudi Arabia for two years. He also worked for the Air Guard and NCO Club where he was a bartender and event planner. During his vacations he enjoyed water skiing, swimming with dolphins, snow skiing and even rode his motorcycle touring Mexico. After moving to Cuba, Missouri in 1980 he loved being outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marie Chancellor; and parents-in-law Albert and Elizabeth Bohmer. Smith, Arkansas to Willis and Mary Shelby Farmer and passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 18 days. On November 1, 1952 at Holy Cross Church in Cuba, Missouri he married Sara Goodman. Jack grew up in Crawford County, graduating from Steelville High School in 1949. He served his nation honorably in the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1970, retiring after 22 years as a 1st Sgt. Jack was stationed in Korea at two different times and in Vietnam. He was also stationed in Berlin while The Wall was being built. He received an Army Commendation Medal with the 1st and 2nd Oak Leaf Clusters and a Purple Heart while serving in the Korean Conflict. After retirement and returning back to Steelville, Missouri he worked at Perkins Lumber for a number of years. He was a member of the Steelville VFW #6479 and was the Quarter Master at one time, served as a Steelville City Councilman and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church for many years. Jack loved to go white bass fishing in Oklahoma, follow the Mizzou basketball games and traveling with Sara. They enjoyed traveling to all 50 states, other countries including the two smallest, The Vatican and Monaco. Not only did he and Sara volunteer for their church, they also volunteered for the local food pantry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Mary Farmer; one son, Neal Farmer; one sister, Reita (Carroll) Price; and one brother-in-law, Charles Hendricks. Marilyn was a 1951 graduate of Laboure All Girls Catholic High School in St. Louis, Missouri. She married her husband of 65 years, Richard Carl Korte on May 30, 1953 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in St. Louis, Missouri. She was an avid sports fanatic and a long time St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan. She was the former owner of Marilyn's Quality Egg Business and former owner/operator of Stonegate Farms. She was a long time member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Steelville, Missouri. She was devoted to St. Therese of Lisieux, "the little flower," and to Holy Mother Mary and St. Anthony. She was a Vitae Society member and gave 13 years as an Extern Sacristan to the Carmelite Sisters Monastery in Jefferson City, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening and canning. Ronald "Ron" Dean McKay Ronald "Ron" Dean McKay of Sullivan, Missouri was born May 17, 1948 to George Edwin and Virginia Elizabeth (Marsh) McKay and passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the age of 71 years. He graduated from Sullivan High School, Class of 1966. Ron began his working career at Ramsey in Sullivan, Missouri. He was drafted into the United States Army on September 25, 1969 and served our country proudly during the Vietnam War. After his military service he completed his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and became the Sullivan High School Vocational Agriculture teacher. He married Juanita Joyce Lueken on August 30, 1975. He later worked for the MFA Fertilizer Plant in St. Clair, Missouri and lastly began a career at the Sullivan Post Office as a postal clerk where he retired in 2010 after 25 years of service. Ron was a great man of faith who came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a young age and as a public profession of his faith was baptized on April 28, 1959 at First Baptist Church, Sullivan Missouri. Ron was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church where he loved and served the Lord through his church. He served on several committees with his focus on missions, building funds, and building maintenance. He enjoyed all things outdoors. He loved watching and feeding his deer in the field, hunting for that 10-point buck, cutting down trees, clearing brush, keeping an immaculate yard and gardening. She married Neil Prentice on December 27, 1945. As a family they enjoyed traveling and camping all over the country. Neil and Vivian joined the First Assembly of God Church in Rolla, Missouri where she attended regularly. She was a very active volunteer of the church until her health no longer permitted. Vivian was always strong willed and determined. She had her opinions about things and didn't care to voice them. Vivian loved to cook and was a very good cook. In her later years she took up playing card and board games. Anytime you went to visit her you almost knew there was going to be a game brought out to be played. Vivian loved her church, her God and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonah and Eva Housewright; husband, Neil in 1997; son, Alan in 1969; sisters, Mary Ann Hughes and Fern Albert; brothers, Arthur Lee and Clifford Housewright; and brothers-in-law, Carl Hughes and June Albert. He spent 62 years helping others with their wells and pumps. In his spare time, Johnny enjoyed deer hunting, turkey hunting, squirrel hunting and hunting trips out west. Every spring, for many years, he would plant a garden and share all the vegetables with his family and friends. Johnny was known for always being fair, honest and a second father to many. She married Robert Oran Shoemaker on March 7, 1964 in Owensville, Missouri. Leona was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star. She worked at Brown Shoe for 20 years, was a school bus driver for 31 years and also worked as a baby-sitter. She enjoyed cooking for the farm hands and reading. The students on her bus route called her "Aunt Leona." Sondra graduated from Willow Springs High School in 1970. In 1974, she received a Bachelor's degree from School of the Ozarks where she loved to play softball and held records in track and javelin. She began her teaching career in Houston, Missouri, teaching there for three years before moving to Steelville, Missouri, where she taught for 17 years. She then relocated to Doniphan, Missouri where she remained teaching until she retired. During her time at Doniphan she started the cross country team. After her retirement, she began selling real estate in Doniphan and later in West Plains, Missouri. She was a member of Trinity Worship Center where she loved being active within the church, playing guitar and singing with the Praise Team and Women's Group. She was preceded in death by her father, Amos Talburt. She is survived by her mother, Lavada Talburt of West Plains, Missouri; three brothers, Hal Talburt of West Plains, Missouri, Rad Talburt and wife, Joanne of Doniphan, Missouri and Wayne Talburt and wife Ramona of Tecumseh, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
