He was a graduate of Rolla High School and East Central College. Frank was a long time employee of the Phelps County Assessor's Office before retiring due to illness in 2013. Frank loved the outdoors and anytime he could get out and four wheel or brush hogging when he was still able. He loved to fish and squirrel hunt. He loved movies, video games, computers and collecting. He loved his old cat, Nefertiti and she loved only him. He was the third generation of Frank Adam(s) to live on the family farm. he was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Deletta Adam; and sister-in-law, Lucy Adam. Jennifer Joanne Miller Jennifer Joanne (Walden) Miller was born on September 27, 1969 to Jeanette (Ford) Layman and Terry Barnard and passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the age of 48 years. She was a 1987 graduate of Southwestern High School. She was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves from 1989-1992. Jenni married Rodney Miller of East Alton, Illinois on July 21, 2001 at Little Sturgis in Kentucky. She was looking forward to becoming a grandmother. Jenni was a beautiful soul inside and out. Her smile lit up the room. Never meeting a stranger, she made everyone feel like family. Jenni always left the house open to anyone and everyone. She was a creative soul. She enjoyed cooking, working with stained glass, making candles and DIY Home Improvement. She also enjoyed taking care of her dogs, cats and goats. Barbara married Kenneth U.B. Summer Sr. on August 8, 1970. Kenneth passed away in 1991. Barbara married Joseph Hudson on July 5, 1996. Barbara was a people person, she was out going and fun. She worked for many years serving the public as a bartender and always wanted to ensure that her customers had a good experience and would go that extra "mile" to ensure that they did. Barbara loved to dance and was especially fond of the Mexican hat dance that she danced to celebrate her Spanish heritage. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, deer hunting and fishing. Margaret's family moved to St. Louis, Missouri while she was still a young girl and she attended school in St. Louis, Missouri. On May 24, 1954 Margaret married Luther Price. She was a homemaker and raised her family. Margaret enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and playing bingo; she also loved collecting ducks. Roy Jay Schroeder Roy Jay Schroeder of Cuba, Missouri was born Friday, November 7, 1952 at Glendale, California to Charles A. and Donna Kenyon Schroeder and passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the age of 64 years. Roy married Sissy Skaggs on May 18, 1992 at Bentonville, Arkansas. Roy proudly served in the United States Army from December 21, 1972 till August 31, 1973. He earned the National Defense Serve Medal, Truckmaster, RAGE REL and the UCMJ. Roy enjoyed building motorcycles, riding his Harley and playing the guitar. You could find him on the front porch of his house playing his guitar, singing and watching the world go by. He was very musically talented and could play any instrument you put in his hands. His artistic skills helped him be a tattoo artist and a painter. He collected old coins and movies. Roy was a homebody except for their rides on the Harley. Every morning for the last 25+ years, Roy went to town to get breakfast, a diet coke and flowers for Sissy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Schroeder; and mother-in-law, Margaret Skaggs. He attended Sullivan schools. In 1979 Trent served his country in the United States Marines, which he was very proud. He lived the past few years in Columbia, Missouri where he could be close to the Harry S Truman Veterans Hospital and V.A. doctors who care for him. Hewas preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Spindler. Dionna pursued some post high school education in cosmetology and other subjects. She worked as a CNA at a nursing home in Viburnum, Missouri and later in Park Hills, Missouri. She loved spending time outdoors and dining out. She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Sue Swyers. She is survived by her father, Donald Swyers Jr. of Hawk Point, Missouri; daughter, Arionna Charlson of Desloge, Missouri; son, Logan Metz of Viburnum, Missouri; brother, Joshua Gendron of Farmington, Missouri; sisters, Valerie S. Tayloe of Sullivan, Missouri was born on August 28, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois, to Raymond L. and Clara E. (Nelson) Black and passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Donna was baptized at the Franklinville Methodist Church on October 5, 1941 and became a member of the Bourbon Methodist Church on April 13, 1952. Donna's early years in school were spent in Naperville, Franklinville, and Marengo, Illinois and she graduated from Bourbon High School in 1950. On May 11, 1952, Donna married Marvin Tayloe in Bourbon, Missouri. Donna worked for Paramount Cap Company in Bourbon, as well as International Shoe Company in Sullivan, Missouri. She enjoyed baking pies, cakes, cookies and all kinds of good things. She also canned and froze many vegetables from their big garden. Donna also loved growing lilies, roses and wildflowers. Donna and Marvin enjoyed traveling together; they drove the Alaskan Highway to Fairbanks, Alaska. Another adventure included the New England states, going on to Newfoundland. They also loved the West and were able to visit Yellowstone and Rocky Moutain National Parks on several occasions and she was proud to say they visited all of the state capitals, except for three. Donna's favorite trip was when she and Marvin went to Germany and Austria in 1997. Donna was the accountant for the family business, Quality Cabinet Shop, which they started in 1963. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Clara Black; and one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Goldie Black. He was very gifted in painting automobiles, motorcycles and hot rods and also enjoyed welding scuptures.
