Hugh “Austin” Adams
Hugh “Austin” Adams of St. James, Missouri, was born in St. James, Missouri
on October 28, 1926 to Squire and Martha (Lowe) Adams and passed away
November 3, 2010 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 84 years.
Hugh proudly served his Country in the United States Army during WWII.
Hugh was united in marriage to Anna Lucille Roso and to this union five
children were born. Anna passed away October 7, 1972, he later married
June Hodges.
He was a loyal Cardinal baseball fan; he enjoyed traveling, socializing and
spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Squire and Martha Adams; wife,
Anna; one sister and one brother.
He is survived by his wife, June of the home; children, Michael Adams and
wife Faye of Baltimore, Maryland, Steven Adams and wife Lori of Cedar Falls,
Iowa, Cheryl Cook and husband David of Des Moines, Iowa, Bryan Adams and wife
Oneina of Navarre, Florida, Neal Adams and wife Tanya of Kalamazoo, Michigan;
sister, Wilma Malone of St. James, Missouri; June’s grandson and family; nine
grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral service was Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the St. James
Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with reverend Mick Thrasher officiating.
Interment with full military honors was at the St. James Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the James & Gahr Mortuary in St. James,
Missouri.
Terry Bolin
Terry Bolin of Silva, Missouri was born May 11, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri
to Jessie Neely and Mary Alice (Christeson) Bolin and passed away at his
home October 29, 2010 at the age of 37 years, 5 months and 18 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Mary Alice Bolin.
He is survived by wife, Kristen Bolin; three children, Jessica and Tyler
Bolin of Neelyville, Missouri and Isaiah DeVore; three brothers, David
Bolin and wife Katherine of Neelyville, Missouri, Allen Bolin of Vichy,
Missouri and Joseph Bolin of Silva, Missouri; three sisters, Kathleen Craig
and husband Carl of Silva, Missouri, Shiela Bolin of Silva, Missouri and
LeeWana Bolin of Vichy, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2010 at the
Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services were Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Jones Funeral Home
Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Donald Strauser officiating.
Pallbearers were David Bolin, Joseph Bolin, Kevin Bolin, Kathleen Craig,
Shiela Bolin, LeeWana Bolin and Heather Belcher.
Burial was in the family plot in the Wentzel Cemetery in Vichy, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James,
Missouri.
Virginia “Peg” Line
Virginia “Peg” Verlea Line of Rolla, Missouri was born on February 23, 1925
in St. Louis, Missouri to Austin Housewright and Nora (Asher) Housewright
and passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the age of 85 years.
On May 8, 1943 she married Mryl Line.
She was a member of the First Church of God in St. James, Missouri. She
served as a Sunday school teacher and loved to sing and play the piano.
She is survived by her husband, Myrl Line of the home in Rolla, Missouri;
four children, Kenneth G. Line and wife Norma of Kirkwood, Missouri,
Karen V. Foster of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Keith W. Line of Castle Rock,
Colorado and Karla K. Hatch and husband John of Ozark, Missouri; eight
grandchildren, Kenneth James Line, Karmen Carson and husband Brandon, Breton
Line, Robert Line, Brandon Line and wife Vera, Benton Line, Ryan Hatch and
Kayla Hatch; two great grandchildren, Jacob Line and Peter Line; other
relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Null
and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri.
Funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the
Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri with Pastor Don Carson
officiating.
Interment followed in the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the Null and Son Funeral Home in
Rolla, Missouri.
Karin S. Rapplean
Karin S. Rapplean of Owensville, Missouri was born to Elmer and Mabel
(Pierce) Bader on January 2, 1944 in St. Clair, Missouri and passed away
Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 66 years.
Karin was united in marriage to Donald Roger Rapplean on April 10, 1961
in Granite City, Illinois and to this union two daughters were born.
Karin was a cake decorator for Country Mart in Steelville. She loved being
an artist and taking care of her Fox Trotter Horses.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mabel Bader; one
brother, Sherwood Bader; one sister, Eileen Norton; other relatives and
friends.
She is survived by her husband, Donald “Roger” Rapplean of the home; two
daughters, Jennifer G. Rapplean of Panama City Beach, Florida and Nicole and
husband Steve Sherfy of St. Peters, Missouri; four grandchildren, Corina
Royster of Smithville, Missouri, Drew Rapplean of St. Louis, Missouri,
Mikayla and Hannah Sherfy of St. Peters, Missouri; two great grandchildren,
Alysia and Lacey; six brothers and sisters, Gordon and wife Marge Bader of
Neosho, Missouri, Naomi Marler of Marshfield, Missouri, Doug and wife Norma
Bader of O’Fallon, Missouri, Margie and husband Royal Taylor of Lonedell,
Missouri, Dave and wife Gloria Bader of Cuba, Missouri, Jeaninie and husband
Ken Baker of Warrenton, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Friday, November 5, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral
Home of Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Britton Funeral
Home of Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Terry Mahurin, officiating.
Interment followed at Prospect Cemetery, Lonedell, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba,
Missouri.
Constance “Connie” Patricia Voss
Constance (Connie) Patricia Voss, 58, was born March 20, 1952, in
Perryville, Missouri, to Adlene Marie (Mueller) and Henry Leo Voss Jr.
and passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at her home in Lufkin, Texas.
She lived the past 30 years in eastern Texas. Connie was a registered
nurse and an expert in emergency care. She also was a businesswoman and
opened Connie’s Club on Highway 69 in 2006, and sold it in 2009, due to
illness.
She is remembered by many friends for her sense of humor, compassion for
anyone in need and love of animals.
She is survived by her mother, Adlene Voss; two sisters and brothers-in-law,
Susan and Steve Hinck and Nancy and Gale Schmidt, all of Missouri; other
relatives and friends.
Private interment will follow in her hometown of Bourbon, Missouri.
