MO Local Obituaries for the Week of November 13, 2019 Thomas "Tom" Joseph Bartolotta Thomas "Tom" Joseph Bartolotta of Bourbon, Missouri was born on January 10, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to Joseph Vito and Joyce M. (Lowery) Bartolotta and passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the age of 59 years. He grew up and attended school in Sullivan, Missouri and was in the graduating class of 1978. As a young boy, he spent a lot of time in his family's restaurants, The Windmill and I-44 Car & Truck Plaza. Tom married Carmen Cuneio in 1990 and to this union three children were born, Beau, Bria and Balor. He later married Lori Rennick on July 1, 2005 and inherited son, Logan and daughter, Maggie. Tom worked for the Counts brothers for many years before opening his own dealership, Bartolotta's. He spent 30 years in the automobile industry. Tom loved cars, especially attending car shows, he enjoyed being outdoors, cooking and his dogs. He also loved the people of Sullivan and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Bartolotta; stepfather, John Yowell; and step son, Logan Rennick. He is survived by his wife, Lori A. Bartolotta of Bourbon, Missouri; four children, Beau Bartolotta and wife Jenica of Sullivan, Missouri, Bria Bartolotta of Sullivan, Missouri, Balor Bartolotta of Sullivan, Missouri and Maggie Rennick of Washington, Missouri; mother, Joyce Yowell of Sullivan, Missouri; one grandson, Walton Bartolotta of Sullivan, Missouri; one sister, Tammy Krueger and husband Kelly of Sullivan, Missouri; one brother, Jeff Bartolotta of Sullivan, Missouri; mother-in-law, Janet Beesley of Eureka, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan, Missouri. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Scott Perry officating. Burial was held in the I.O.O.F. James Harold Chapman James Harold Chapman of Cuba, Missouri was born Wednesday, September 18, 1940 at Crawford County, Missouri to Harold and Mina (nee Miller) Chapman. He left from this life on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 79 years. He was united in marriage to Florence Williams on October 20, 1958 at Holy Cross Catholic Church and they were the proud parents of James H., Theresa and Debbie. Harold, as he was known by, worked as a welder for Echo Supply and then Wester Supply. He retired at the age of 58, after many years of dedicated service. He was a lifetime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and 3rd Order of St. Franciscan of Assisi. In his spare time and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the lake. What he enjoyed most after retiring, was sitting on a dock and fishing for hours. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Nina Chapman; wife, Florence Chapman; sister, Marilyn L. Guy; sisters and brother-in-law, Rose Mary and husband Jerry Ross and other family and friends. Karen Ruth Pryor Karen Ruth Pryor of St. James, Missouri was born in Reynolds County, Missouri on February 5, 1952 to Oather and Maye Cowin and passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 67 years. She married Wayne Pryor on June 25, 1968. Karen loved her family and was ecstatic when the grandchildren came along. She loved her games shows, and home improvement shows that were on TV. She enjoyed cooking and getting her family together for a meal at her home. She also liked to sew, a craft she learned from her days sewing at the factories. Karen had a funny and witty personality, she was good with people, a people pleaser and caretaker. She always thought that the most important role as the matriarch of her family was to make sure her family was good, happy and knew how much she loved them all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oather and Maye Cowin; and brothers, Richard and Bobby Cowin. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Pryor; children, Ron Pryor of St. James, Missouri and Stace Pryor and spouse Jodie of Salem, Missouri; grandchildren, Dana, Dillon, Austin, Storm, Mythias, Brandon, Kiara, Angel, Adrianna, Elizabeth and Karen; great grandchildren, Gabriel Gunner Alura, Adilynn and Braxton; 12 siblings; other relatives and friends. Anna "Juanita" Pyatt Anna "Juanita" Pyatt (nee Wilkinson) of Cherryville, Missouri was born September 19, 1929 in Davisville, Missouri to Lavern and Elsie Brown Wilkinson and passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 13 days. On November 3, 1946 she was married Noah Pyatt. Juanita was employed at Brown Shoe Company for several years and attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church. Juanita enjoyed sewing, embroidering quilts, reading, traveling and watching the St. Louis Cardinals on TV. During her years in the nursing home, she looked forward to playing Bingo, her gardening, cooking and book clubs. Juanita also served on the Council at the nursing home which she thought was an honor. Throughout the years, she loved listening to gospel music. Special music of "Beulah Land" and a medley of songs was sung by Bob and Carol Coleman with accompaniment by Shirley Brown on piano. Frederick Louis Wright Frederick Louis Wright of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, was born on Friday, August 30, 1935 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Lee and Bernadine Mary Soules Wright and passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 5 days. Frederick served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Following his military service, he was a member of the Local 88 United Food and Commercial Workers Union working many years as a meat cutter at Tri City and Shop 'n Save Grocery. After retirement Frederick moved to Cuba, Missouri and enjoyed working in his yard and being outside. His hobbies were fishing and collecting antiques. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Bernadine Wright. He is survived by his daughter, Faith and husband Jon Pattrin of St. Louis, Missouri; brother, Ronnie Wright of South Carolina; sister, Peggy Retorick of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; grand- daughter, Lexie Pattrin of St. Louis, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
