On June 22, 1948 he married Bonnie Harris and to this union four children were born. He later married Claudette Smith Barton on June 18, 1995 in Viburnum, Missouri. Eldon was a faithful member of the Rivers of Life Church. He always loved music whether singing or playing his guitar. For many years, he had a gospel radio show on KGNN out of Washington, Missouri station. He was always very giving and was willing to play music for funerals and benefits for families in the area. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Vada Barton; and one brother, Dwight Barton. Special music of "Can't Even Walk" was sung by David and Perry Barton and Bob and Carol Coleman. Other music of "See You in the Rapture" was sung and played on piano by Johnny Setzer and "Meet You on the other side of Jordan" sung by Bob and Carol Coleman. Reta Marie Boyle Reta Marie (Palmer) Boyle of Sullivan, Missouri was born on May 8, 1937 to Theodore and Fannie (Longloy) Palmer in Modoc, Illinois and passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the age of 79 years. She was employed "underground" in the Coal mine in Randolph County where she met her husband, Red. She also worked various other jobs including; waitressing and in the Horticulture industry. On May 15, 1992 Reta was united in marriage to James "Red" Boyle in Eureka Spring, Arkansas. After retirement Red and Reta became full time RVers, traveling the country in their motor home as "Snowbirds." They also served as Camp Hosts in many State Parks in Missouri, Texas and Florida. They had many wonderful years together. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Fannie Palmer; and one grandchild. Chrisco of Cuba, Missouri was born Sunday, May 14, 1939 at Eminence, Missouri to Dan and Esther Marie (nee Hawkins) Chrisco and passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Donald proudly served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne from 6 June 1958 till 5 May 1961. He received the Parachutist Badge. Donald married Jerry Ann Thompson on December 19, 1959 at Igloo, South Dakota. Donald received a B.A. from Tarkio University in Tarkio, Missouri. He retired after many years of dedicated service from Vickers Electromech as the Vice President and Director of Materials. Donald enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially baseball, bowling and golf. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan Chrisco and Esther Hawkins; one brother, Vern Chrisco; and one sister-in-law, Gloria Chrisco. Richard Leroy Daugherty Richard Leroy Daugherty of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Sunday, November 4, 1945 in Washington, Missouri to Patrick Edward and Elsie May Littrell Daugherty and passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the age of 71 years and 7 days. Richard married Mary Ann Blaser on September 12, 1964 in Union, Missouri and to this union three children were born. Richard was self-employed and owned his own trucking business transporting mostly dry goods. His hobbies were hunting, riding motorcycles and car racing. He led his wife to the Lord many years ago and most recently was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Bourbon, Missouri. Davenport of Cuba, Missouri was born on December 28, 1934 and passed away July 12, 2016 at the age 81 years. His life was commemorated by his immediate family in a memorial held at his beloved cabin. Hilda Marie Koelling Hilda Marie Koelling was born on November 16, 1919 in Bourbon, Missouri to Joe and Emelia (Jost) Bindner and passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the age of 96 years. She taught at Three Mile School for three years. She then enjoyed working a Paramount Cap in Bourbon, Missouri for four years. Hilda went to Paso, Washington and was united in marriage to Earl Koelling of Japan, Missouri who was in the Navy, stationed there until October 1944. She worked in the W.A.C. dormitory at Richmond, Washington for one year, then Earl was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1945. They came back to Missouri for a short time; Earl worked at the St. Louis Airport and Hilda at Emerson Electric. They moved back to the Japan area where they both worked in the Japan Store. Hilda worked in the store until 1977 when she retired due to her health. Even after retirement she retained her spunky attitude and energy, always having several projects that needed to be accomplished. Family and friends were her first priority. She loved company and everyone had to sample some of her cooking and special bakery desserts. Hilda and her circle of friends were always ready for a spirited pinochle game. She had a strong faith and was a member of Holy Martyrs of Japan Catholic Church where she regularly attended and participated in church activities. Hilda's lawn was always manicured and she enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Emelia Bindner; husband, Earl on November 2, 1997; son, Steven Koelling on June 8, 2011; one brother and sister-in-law; Frank and Rose Bindner and one sister in infancy, Catherine Bindner. Darryl Scott Pearson Darryl Scott Pearson of Rhea Community was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 26, 1960 to Geraldine and Hubert Pearson and passed away on Tuesday November 1, 2016 at the age of 56 years. He resided in the Rolla, Missouri community for most of his wonderful life. He was a graduate of Rolla High School in 1979. Darryl met Theresa Allison in 1978. Darryl and Theresa were married on July, 12, 1980. While living in Rolla, Darryl was a man of many great things. He loved being the coach when his boys played sports. Fishing was one of Darryl's favorite past times. He was a volunteer firefighter of Rolla Rural Fire Department. His heart was being a leader of the Rhea Church of Christ where he led Sunday worship for several years. He was a valued member of the Phelps County Highway Department for 28 years, where he worked as a Mechanic. Darryl loved being in the grease and grim of a vehicle. He could work on any engine from a grader to a lawnmower. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Fred Allison. George Walter Sr. George Walter Sr. of St. James, Missouri was born in Braddock, Pennsylvania on August 21, 1934 to William J. and Violet C. (Ambrose) Walter and passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the age of 82 years. On November 27, 1955 he married Mary Lou Bell, who survives. George was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War and being honorably discharged in 1955. He retired as an insurance agent with the Reliable Life Insurance Co. He enjoyed the outdoors, deer hunting, and all aspects of tending his yard. He was a member of the local American Legion, VFW, Moose, Elks, and Eagles Lodges. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Violet Walter; one son, Brian Keith Walter; daughter, Vicki Lynn Walter; three brothers, William, Robert and James Walter; and one sister, Patricia Fischer. Camellea Wood-Jones Camellea Wood-Jones, of Rolla, Missouri was born on March 4, 1951 in Waynesville, Missouri to Kenneth and Lois (Lenox) Wood and passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the age of 65 years. Camellea attended high school in St. James, Missouri, graduating in 1969. After high school she attended nursing school in St. Louis, Missouri. She went on to further her education by becoming a Radiologic Technologist. On June 4, 1977 (May 35th) she married Richard "Dick" Jones. In 1981 they adopted Lenox Wood Jones. Camellea also has a step- daughter Shelley (Jones) Martin. Camellea was a homemaker and a stay at home mom for the first five years of their marriage. That is still one of the proudest accomplishments in her life of being able to stay home with Lenox until he started school. After that, she opened with her husband, Dick, Wood-Jones and Associates accounting firm. While still holding that job and helping with income tax returns; she branched out to Waynesville, Missouri where she owned Pioneer Lending that brokered loans to active duty military from 1986-2009. She was very active on Fort Leonard Wood, where she helped serve the active duty and retired military personal, helping soldiers became her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Jesse Wood; and one brother, Kenneth Wayne Wood. She is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Jones of Rolla, Missouri; one son, Lenox Jones and fiancˇe LeighAnne DeParle of Rolla, Missouri; one daughter, Shelley Martin and husband Michael of Irving, Texas; her mother, Lois Walls of Rolla, Missouri; five grandchildren, McKenzie, Gage, Ryker, Maddix and Aniston; other relatives and friends.
