Agnes Rosemary Armistead
Agnes Rosemary Armistead of St. James, Missouri was born on March 25, 1928
in St. Louis, Missouri to Joseph and Edna Mae (Politte) Kolb and passed away
at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at
the age of 82 years, 7 months, and 13 days.
Agnes was united in marriage to Charles James Armistead in St. Louis,
Missouri on December 21, 1948 and to this union six children were born.
Agnes and her husband were co-owners of the Manchester Manufacting Company
in St. James, Missouri. She had the strong ability to manage a family
owned company and still had time for family and church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Edna Mae Kolb; one
son, Chris James Armistead; one brother, Robert Kolb and one sister,
Katherine Jones.
She is survived by her husband of the home, Charles James Armistead; two
sons, Charles Richard Armistead and wife Linda of St. James, Missouri and
Lawrence Joseph Armistead of St. James, Missouri; three daughters, Barbara
Agnes Bryant of Lacoma, Missouri, Rosemary Ann Pherigo of St. James,
Missouri and Mary Elizabeth Armistead of St. James, Missouri; one brother,
Lawrence Joseph Kolb of Glendale, California; one sister, Shirley Houston
of Florissant, Missouri; three grandsons, Michael C. Armistead of Kansas
City, Missouri, Matthew Pherigo of St. James, Missouri and Jeremiah Bryant
of Lacoma, Missouri; four granddaughters, EmmaLee and Elizabeth Pobanz of
St. James, Missouri, Jennifer Shomer of Rolla, Missouri and Brandy L. Foster
of Pacific, Missouri; one great granddaughter, Vanessa Shomer of Rolla,
Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 1-8 p.m. at the
Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. James, Missouri with Charles
Pardee officiating.
Pallbearers were Michael Armistead, Jeremiah Bryant, Matthew Pherigo,
Brent Schomer, Bob Durrett and John Edgar.
Burial was in the family plot in the Stanton Cemetery in Stanton, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James,
Missouri.
George Winston Hanna
George Winston Hanna of St. James, Missouri was born on January 31, 1919 to
Charles and Elizabeth (Booth) Hanna in Hollister, Missouri and passed away
on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in St. James,
Missouri at the age of 91 years, 9 months and 10 days.
George was united in marriage to Jane A. Seiber on September 7, 1939 in
St. James, Missouri and to this union one son was born.
George Hanna loved baseball and had a great knowledge of it from a young
age. He loved woodworking and built a lot of things. He was a great handy
man, loved fishing, gardening, and even had a full garden at the Missouri
Veteran’s Home.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in St. James, Missouri. He was
always a leader and a people person. He was on the City Council of
St. James. George worked as a warehouse foreman at Lambert Furniture Co. in
St. Louis, Missouri; NL Indiana as shipping and packaging superintendent;
Jefferson City Highway Patrol as warehouse supervisor. George retired in
1983 to St. James, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth Hanna; his wife,
Jane A. Hanna on May 1, 2007 and one sister, Clarasteen Romano.
Surviving George is his son, Donald G. Hanna and wife Barbara of Neosho,
Missouri; one brother, Gordon Augustine; one sister, Imogene Clegg of
Allegan, Michigan; five grandchildren, Catherine, Donna, Kari, Nicole and
Erin; 11 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; other relatives
and friends.
Visitation was from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Jones
Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at
the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Jerry Baumann
officiating.
Pallbearers were Chris Rollhous, Tyler Rollhous, Phil McKee, Ryan McKee,
Seth Linton, Erin Berga, Nathan Fear and Damen Bourassa.
Burial was in the family plot in the St. James Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James,
Missouri.
Earl E. Heusler
Earl E. Heusler of Steelville, Missouri, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri,
was born on Wednesday, July 11, 1923 and passed away on Wednesday,
November 10, 2010 at the age of 87 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine M. Heusler (nee Sanftleben);
daughter, Barbara (Glen) Fornell; sisters, Louise (William) Boehner and
Shirley (Howard) Mumm.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Kevin) Rieber of St. Louis,
Missouri; son, Dr. Richard C. (Tina) Heusler of Steelville, Missouri;
grandchildren, Kevin Rieber, Jr. and Brian Rieber; step grandchildren,
Nicole (Wes) McPeters and Andrew Lett; step great grandchildren, Owen, Elly,
and Myah McPeters; sister, Mildred Brethauer; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. and the funeral
service on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Kutis Affton Chapel,
St. Louis, MO.
Burial at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Edna Lea Miller
Edna Lea Miller of Bourbon, Missouri born on October 17, 1915 in the
Anthony’s Mill area near Bourbon, Missouri, to Charlie Thomas and Joy
Mildred (Johnson) Record and passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at
the age of 95 years.
She was a life-long resident of Bourbon and dedicated member if Calvary
Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and reading and gospel singing and
especially enjoyed fishing and crossword puzzles.
On December 22, 1934 she was united in marriage to Raymond Everett Miller
and to this marriage nine children were born.
For the majority of her married life, Edna was a devoted homemaker. She
did however, work at the former Hertel’s Market and was a housekeeper for
several families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mildred Record; three
sons, Bobby, Bud and John Miller; two daughters, Sandra DaMitz and Elizabeth
Gullet; three brothers, Wayne, Ed and Glenn Record and a sister, Hazel
Johnson.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Miller and wife Mary Lou of Bourbon,
Missouri, Daniel Miller and wife Mary Ann and Mark Miller and wife Jana of
Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Sharon Phelps of Rolla, Missouri; one
brother, Bill Record of Bourbon, Missouri; sister, Pat Sloan of Hermann,
Missouri; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; great great grand-
children; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday from noon until time of service at 2 p.m.
at Calvary Baptist Church in Bourbon.Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m.
on Friday, November 5, 2010 from Calvary Baptist Church in Bourbon with
Pastors Harry Pryor and Pat Panepinto officiating.
Interment was in the Crossroads Cemetery, Leasburg, Missouri.

Missouri.
Patricia Ann Moore
Patricia Ann Moore of Cuba, Missouri was born on Saturday,
September 22, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lemro and Lucy Ann Nunn Moore
and passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the age of 54 years, 1 month
and 23 days.
Patricia enjoyed sewing, embroidering and working puzzles. She loved taking
care of her granddaughter Kaitlyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemro and Lucy Ann Moore and brother
, Kenneth E. Moore.
She is survived by her companion, James Doyle of the home; son, Jason Doyle
of Cuba, Missouri; brothers, Virgil Moore and Vernon Moore, all of Cuba,
Missouri, Tommy (Mary) Moore of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Charles
Moore of Wyoming; sister, Janet Hubbs of Salem, Missouri; granddaughter,
Kaitlyn Doyle; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is Friday, November 19, 2010 from 6-7 p.m. and memorial service
at 7 p.m. at the Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri.

Ralph Edward Page
Ralph Edward Page of Sullivan, Missouri, was born in Crawford County,
Missouri near Bourbon on March 15, 1924 to Walter Lee and Kathryn
(Menkhaus) Page and passed away at the Missouri Veterans Home at
St. James, Missouri on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the age of 86 years.
He had lived the first 15 years of his life in the St. Louis area and then
moved to Sullivan to make his home.
On October 19, 1946 he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Smith at
St. Louis, Missouri and to this marriage four children were born.
Ralph was an assemblyman for the Ford Corporation for many years and later
retired from there. He honorably served his country during WWII with the
U.S. Navy on various submarines and was awarded the U.S. Victory Medal and
the Asiatic Pacific Medal.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou of the family home; one son, Rick Page
and wife Celesta of New Bloomfield, Missouri; three daughters, Terri
Sappington and husband Bob of Sullivan, Missouri, Rene’ Cuneio and husband
John of Sullivan, Missouri and Valerie Woolsey and husband John of
Steelville, Missouri; one brother, Walter Page and wife Margie of Van
Nuys, California; sister, Dorothy Brendel of Bourbon, Missouri; 13
grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Memorial funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday,
November 13, 2010 from the Chapel of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan,
Missouri with Cindra Williams officiating.
Inurnment followed in Oddfellows Cemetery, Sullivan, Missouri with full
military honors presented by the US Navy.
Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan,
Missouri.
Johnny E. Thomas
Johnny E. Thomas of Cherryville, Missouri was born on Friday, August 4, 1961
in Omaha, Nebraska to Johnny Lester and Genevieve Croghan Thomas and passed
away Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the age of 49 years, 3 months and 2 days.
His hobbies were playing the guitar, singing, fishing, digging plant roots,
playing cards and table games. Johnny was a simple man.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Lester Thomas; stepfather,
John Helms and special great niece, Emma Thomas.
He is survived by his mother, Jenny “Honey” Helms of Cherrvyille, Missouri;
brothers, William (Barb Land) Smith of Cuba, Missouri and Christopher Helms
of Granite City, Illinois; sisters, Jeanette (Roy Carrick) Massey of
Cherryville, Missouri, Jackie (Eugene) Helms of Old Monroe, Missouri, Darla
(Frank) Vance of Cherryville, Missouri and Sharlann (David) Gaddy of
Bolivar, Missouri; half brother, Robert Croghan of Council Bluffs, Iowa;
step brothers and step sisters, Roger (Selina) Helms of Steelville,

the Helms Family Farm, Cherryville, Missouri with Rev. Frank Vance and
Bro. Eugene Helms officiating.
