Peggy Sue Gilliam
Peggy Sue Gilliam, nee Ross, of Steelville, Missouri was born on
Monday, March 21 1932 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to James Monroe Ross
and Lula Mae Bess Ross.
She passed away on Friday, November 11, 2005 at the age
of 73 years, 7 months, and 21 days.
Peggy accepted the Lord many years ago and was of the
Baptist faith. She loved to sew and quilt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,
son-in-law Gene Turner, two brothers Everett Ross and Bud Ross, and
sister Virgie Ross.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her children
Sue Turner of Cherryville, Missouri, Ralph Gilliam and wife Patty of
Ft. Wainwright, Arkansas, Winford Gilliam and wife Tia of Tray,
Missouri, Marvin Gardner and wife Andrea of Atlanta, Georgia, and
Linda Alfascial of St. Charles, Missouri.
Sisters Bessie Locke and husband George of St. Louis,
Missouri, Helen McCracken of Cahokia, Illinois, and Betty Maxwell of
Las Vegas, Nevada. Eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild,
nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was Friday, November 18, 2005 from noon-1
p.m. at the Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
Memorial service was Friday, November 18, 2005 at 1 p.m.
at the Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Delmar B.
Hutson officiating.
All arrangements under the direction of the Hutson
Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
Gladys Jane Word
Gladys Jane (Brownd) Word was born May 26, 1946 and
passed away November 6, 2005.
She is survived by husband Bob; sons, Philip and Clifton
Braschler. Grandsons, Collin, Joshua and Lucas; granddaughter,
Kelsey.
She is also survived by her mother, Margaret White;
brother, Jim; sisters, Elsie, Sharon, Gail, Pam and Patsy; 12 nieces
and nephews.
Gladys loved gardening, quilting and bird-watching. She
loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
