Roma “Lenora” Barnes
Roma “Lenora” Barnes of St. James, Missouri was born April 16, 1933 in
St. James, Missouri to Lemual A. and Emma (Bailey) Adams and passed away
Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Phelps County Hospital at the age of 77
years. Lenora was united in marriage to Arthur Barnes and they were the
parents of three children.
She was a devoted wife and mother choosing to stay home with her family.
She loved bluegrass music and time spent with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemual and Emma Adams; husband,
Arthur in 1994; three brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by her children, Patty Sue Kline and husband Steven of
Placerville, California, Charlotte Barnes, of St. James, Missouri, Steven
Barnes and wife Tammy of Crocker, Missouri; brother, Charles Adams; five
grandchildren; three great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday,
November 18, 2010 at the James & Gahr Mortuary, St. James, Missouri.
Funeral service was held Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the
St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with Pastor Stephan
Brubaker officiating.
Interment was in the St. James Cemetery, St. James, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the James & Gahr Mortuary, St. James,
Missouri.
David William Bouvatte
David William Bouvatte was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 20, 1950,
to William Percy and Rose Marie (Danca) Bouvatte and passed away at the
Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on Wednesday,
November 17, 2010 at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 28 days.
David Bouvatte worked for Coke Cola Warehouse Plant in St. Louis for many
years along with Wal-Mart in Fenton and Petro Lite Chemical Plant in
St. Louis before his retirement and moving to St. James, Missouri. He loved
to deer hunting and be in the great outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rose Bouvatte; and
one sister, Micheline Moore.
He is survived by his children, Nicole Bouvatte of St. James, Missouri
and Christopher Bouvatte of St. James, Missouri; two nieces, Lisa and
Raquell and three great nephews. Ray, Dillon and Michael. Visitation was
from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010, at the Jones Funeral
Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at
the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Lynn Huggins
officiating.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
Burial in the family plot in the St. James Cemetery in St. James,
Missouri.

Mark Anthony Brewer, Jr.
Mark Anthony Brewer, Jr., infant son of Mark and Nakia (Roberts) Brewer Sr.
of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Saturday, November 13, 2010 and passed
away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the Family Birth Center in Columbia,
Missouri.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Oliver Brewer and Jona Torrens.
He is also survived by parents, Mark and Nakia Brewer; grandparents, JoAnn
Brewer of Owensville, Missouri and Robert F. Roberts of Moscow Mills,
Missouri; brother, Rainey Hinch of Bourbon, Missouri and other relatives.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, November 17 at 1 p.m. at the
Owensville City Cemetery, Owensville, Missouri with Pastor Les Dority
officiating.
Arrangements under the direction of Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in
Owensville, Missouri.
Mona Maytred Eaton
Mona Maytred Eaton (nee Moutray) of St. Peters, Missouri, formerly of
Steelville, Missouri, was born September 1, 1930 in Steelville, Missouri to
Ross and Maytred (Farrar) Moutray and passed away Monday, November 15, 2010
at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, Missouri at the age of 80 years.
On December 28, 1968, she was united in marriage to Herman Eaton. He
preceded her in death on February 24, 2004.
Mona was a member of the Christview Christian Church in St. Charles,
Missouri. She loved fishing and being outdoors. She also enjoyed playing
Bingo, watching her favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the
St. Louis Blues. When Herman was alive, she enjoyed traveling to Florida
each winter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Maytred Moutray; her
husband, Herman; one brother, Ross Moutray Jr.; and two sisters, Myrtle
Woods and Dorothy Sherman.
She is survived by one son, Allen Rapert and wife Jeannie of Lake
St. Louis, Missouri; one grandson, Blake Rapert of St. Peters, Missouri;
other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday,
November 17, 2010 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville,
Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at
the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Pastor
Dair Hileman officiating. Special memories from her son, Allan and
grandson, Blake were read. Music of “The Old Rugged Cross” and
“Amazing Grace” was played.
Committal prayer and burial were in the Steelville Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Blake Rapert, Brad Livers, Mike Cothern, Wayne Eaton
and Kevin Eaton.

William Art Gregory
William Art Gregory of Steelville, Missouri was born on Tuesday,
November 7, 1944 and passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the age
of 66 years and 7 days.
Art served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He married LaDonna Sue Rinehart on January 27, 1973 and to this union
two daughters were born.
He worked and retired from AMAX Mining Company. Later, he worked for Alan
Miles as a mechanic. He was a member of the Straightway Baptist Church.
His hobbies were fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; wife, LaDonna;
sister-in-law, Peggy Weaver; father-in-law, George Rinehart and mother-
in-law, Margaret Rinehart.
He is survived by his daughters, Kendra Hoffman of Steelville, Missouri
and Michelle Pippin of Hume, Missouri; brother, David (June) Gregory of
Grants Pass, Oregon, Ruth (Pat) Moses of Steelville, Missouri and Jane
(Jim) Griffith of St. Louis, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Linda Watson of
St. James, Missouri and Kathy (Ronnie) Meziere of Manhattan, Kansas; brother
-in-law, Doc Weaver of Hawk Point, Missouri; grandchildren, Kristin Leeth,
Kenneth Pippin, Jr., Zachary Pippin, and Hannah Pippin; other relatives
and friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Hutson
Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral service was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Straightway
Baptist Church, Steelville, Missouri with Pastor Mike Cooper and Bro. Alan
Miles officiating.
Burial was at the Straightway Baptist Cemetery.

Marie Helen Higgins
Marie Helen Higgins of Steelville, Missouri formerly of Cuba was born
May 15, 1921 at Chamois, Missouri to John S. and Bessie Nichols and passed
away Monday, November 15, 2010 at Gibbs Care Center, Steelville, Missouri
at the age of 89 years and 6 months.
Marie was united in marriage to E. Vernon Higgins on April 4, 1942 at
Leasburg, Missouri and to this union one daughter.
Marie had been a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Sullivan for
the last 31 years where she served as part of the Ladies Ministries, the
Ladies Quilters, which met every Tuesday and she could always be found in
the church kitchen helping prepare the meals. She enjoyed sewing and
embroidering, but what she loved most was spending time with her family
and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bessie Nichols; husband,
E. Vernon Higgins; one brother, Clarence Nichols and one sister, Evelyn
Turner.
She is survived by a daughter, Patsy and husband Henry Copling of Cuba,
Missouri; sisters-in-law, Imogene Nichols of Sullivan, Missouri, Deloris
Hoover of Sullivan, Missouri, Jean Higgins of Ellisville, Missouri and
Betty Higgins of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the
Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the
Faith Assembly of God Church, 310 E. Springfield in Sullivan, Missouri.
Interment and prayers followed at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

Missouri.
Melbourne W. King
Melbourne W. King of Bourbon, Missouri, passed away on Friday,
November 12, 2010 at the age of 73 years.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes nee Richards of the family home; his
mother, Nannie (Raye) King; five step children, James Byrd and wife Judy
of Meeker, Colorado, Brent Byrd and wife Janice of Bourbon, Missouri,
Barrie Byrd and wife Tami of Leasburg, Missouri, Ellen Harton and husband
John of Farmington, New Mexico and Elaine Byrd of Bourbon, Missouri;
seven brothers, James King and wife Linda of Leasburg, Missouri, Jerry King
and wife Joan of Bourbon, Missouri, Buddy King and wife Terrie of
Leasburg, Missouri, Richard King and wife Becky of Sullivan, Missouri,
Bill King and wife Cindy of Cuba, Missouri, Bruce King and wife Julie
of Leasburg, Missouri and Brent King and wife Denise of Leasburg, Missouri;
15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; his faithful companion
“Blue Boy”; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were private but a time of viewing and visitation was
conducted from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2010, at the Chapel of
the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan,
Missouri.
Omar Dallas Lansford
Omar Dallas Lansford of Bland, Missouri born in Byron, Missouri on
December 26, 1925, to Mary (Monroe) and Edward Branson and passed away
Monday, November 15, 2010 at Gasconade Manor Nursing Home in Owensville,
Missouri at the age of 84 years.
On February 24, 1968 in Union, Missouri, she was united in marriage to
Franklin D. Lansford.
She was a member of the Assembly of God church in Owensville, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin; brother, Clinton
Branson; sisters, Grace Thompson Mantle, Velora Chaney, Erlene Schultz
and Mary Ellen Robertson.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lehnhoff and husband Larry of
Rolla, Missouri; sisters, Nadine Brown of Belle, Missouri, Jan Robertson
of Belle, Missouri and Jerry Jackson of Osage Beach, Missouri; grand-
daughter, Sandra Ann Lehnhoff of Fairfield, Iowa; two great grandchildren;
other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the Gottenstroeter Funeral
Home in Owensville, Missouri.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 11 a.m. at
the Assembly of God Church with Pastor Les Dority officiating.
Burial was in the Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in
Owensville, Missouri.
Mabel Avaline Stagner
Mabel Avaline Stagner of Salem, Missouri, passed away November 16, 2010
at Salem, Missouri at the age of 89 years.
She is survived by four children, Clarence Lee Stagner and wife Lucetta
of Licking, Missouri, Robert Stagner and wife Lynn of Salem, Missouri,
Pat Nickles and husband Steve of Springfield, Missouri and Kenny Coleman
and wife Martha of Cuba, Missouri; 32 grandchildren; numerous great
grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Friday, November 19, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wilson
Mortuary Salem Chapel.
Funeral service was Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the
Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Interment followed at Cedar Grove
Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the Wilson Mortuary in Salem,
Missouri.
